woot! looks awsome, the keys are slick but dont slide. the lighting is just excellent except for one(cons). the pressure on the buttons is just about perfect, but make a small excess noise while typeing but no reasion not to buy it. verry shiney! and every thing works as far as i can tell the light that lets you know that the keyboard is on, is extrely vibrant compaired to the other's practically distractingly. it seems like it may possibly be problematic whilst utilizing at night. there seems to be a modest lerning or finding utilized to curve on employing the keyboard but dosent really feel like it will take verry lengthy maby a couple of days a week at most i have been reading other peoples critiques about them receiving dameged or scratched up keyboards and pretty much made me not acquire it due to the fact i didnt want to go though getting to return or get a new 1(there also seems to be a support issue with returns) but i read a few and individuals had been finding ones that worked just fine, i seem to be one of those lucky one's. the keyboard is smaller than it seemed to be, in my case is nither superior nor poor. i am verry impressed with this razer product so far, and i hope that it countinues to work as nicely as it dose now

This is a very elegant keyboard, however the keys have little to no tactile feedback, it feels like I'm not pressing anything. Also there is still a usb problem where I have to reconnect the cable.

Extremely nice searching keyboard, the letters on the keyboard stand out nicely at night and i really like the really feel of the keys. Typing is a bit less difficult than with the reclusa that i bought this to replace. The touch pad for media and volume is nice and i like the feature.if not for the way i like the feel of the keys and the nice appear of it i would have sent this one back.. see below.. The cord for this thing is a beast! thick and a bit to brief, it just reaches my rig. i fully grasp having the second usb on the end and not running it with the keyboard but the way it's setup i have just enough cable to from were the two usb plugs t out of the cord to plug in to the back of the board to the side of the case were i have a free port. the thickness of the cable is a problem with that as it doesn't bend to simply. if you can plug them both into the back of the rig its not a biggy but it would only reach the side of my case so if you strategy to plug it into the front of your case you will be out of luck. oh yea. and just like the reclusa software program, if you use icon pacager it breaks the icon in the taskbar. i adore the white square.. it looks excellent in my taskbar. NOT! i had problem with the touch pad bringing up Media player on its own. a few times at random, then it started spamming it and i couldn't close it just before a different would pop up. the icon on the taskbar was blinking like a drunk in a smokey bar.. i tried to get in touch with razor about it but they didn't even reply to my help request.. good factor i was in a position to figure out the trigger. my x7 drivers appeared to be conflicting with the razor program. when i uninstalled the x7 and reinstalled the razor software it stopped performing it. a large thumbs down for their nonexistent customer service.

lights up and is very shiny and simple to click. For some reason is synced to Windows Media Player which isnt a major deal unless you only use itunes. then it wont let you use the media player controls on the keyboard. I personally do not like Windows media Player, so this was extremely annoying... over all if you like WMP wonderful keyboard

Very well built keyboard, already spilled liquids into it and when dismantled I realize how well this was built!!! removed electronics and keys and dishwashered it and it's just like new so don't worry if you spill because this is well built!! I did not get a lemon and it's still going strong, Razer should have multiple color choosing or carry some alienware desktop keyboardAnyways this is a very good keyboard and everything you could and should expect from Razer.

This is a great gaming keyboard. You can make any key do whatever you want. i like the keys they have good response. the touch panel works good on the one i got.

I don't have any of the problems (yet) that the first batch of reviews had about keys falling out and non-responsive touchpad so I'm assuming that Razer has FIXED this keyboard. Razer has put out a new keyboard recently, similar with little changes but the thing that makes me like this keyboard more is that all the letters are in capitals, unlike the new one where it has gamer-style random non-capital lettered keys - the new one has more key functions however.

Looks good overall. Very cool design but fingerprints magnet. You need to clean it everytime... the price is a little bit high... I expected more for this price honestly.

Well, what to say! Received it around 11am and i started having problems around 12pm!!! Some keys stop working after a while and the media panel have a weird problem I think razer have to do someting about this model...

I bought this keyboard for my son for Xmas. It lasted about 3 months then the keys started to pop off. I email Razor who sent me an RMA to send it back. It had to go back to the US and has been gone about 40 days now with no replacement yet. After several emails they shipped me back a diffent keyboard then I had purchased and I have no choice but to accept it which is a bunch of crap if you ask me. They said the mirror edition was on back order, but I see on the site it says its in stock. For the price I paid for this, plus the shipping back to get replaced, its not worth it. I would stay away from their keyboards and get a Logitech G15 (its what I have and its solid and great).

really enjoyed using the keyboard for almost 3 weeks but now the problems have started to be more than random. The meda player keeps poping up almost everytime i use the keyboard, sometimes even when im watching a movie on the comp and not touching keyboard. Also suffering from random key loss problems, where random keys stop working and i have to unplug and plug keyboard in couple of times and hope it fixes it.

My keyboard is suffering from the random key loss problem.Constantly have had to unplug usb and reapply for functionality.Have contacted Razer support and they will replace my keyboard.Have read many post on the net regarding poor customer service regarding Razer.My experience has been excellent with them and fast.Overall i still think this is a nice keyboard.

I replced a Gen 1 G19 I never really used the G keys and the space it was taking up was brutal now I have room for a nice mouse pad. I would buy it again.

Bought this to replace my G15 1st gen and i dont regret it one bit. Its great for gaming and does what it needs to do.

This is a great gaming keyboard. You can make any key do whatever you want. The two complaints I have are that it smudges very easy, needing to be cleaned all the time and the media keys are very sensitive and would turn on if your hand was near the key.

A good keyboard in concept, but not in quality. The touch pad broke after only having it for three days. The back light could be a little brighter. This is my first Razer product and it will be my last. I think I'll try my luck with a Logitech next time.

I bought this keyboard for my computer because I needed a keyboard to see in the dark because of where my computer is placed. I love it, the keys are easy to use and I can type super fast because of it. I find that the media keys are little less sensitive then you think they would be but other than that I would totally buy this keyboard again. It looks great!

I would never recommend buying this or buy another one. I own a Logitech G15 keyboard bought from NCIX, and prefer it much more. Razer Lycosa's keys are "low profiled", which mean they got a similar feeling, on press, as laptop keyboards. Quite frankly, I don't like it even though a real laptop keyboard isn't that bad, Razer just didn't got it. The keys are also relatively loud for low profiled. Secondly, I bought it instead of the non-mirror version for 2 reasons: 1- The keys of the non-mirror version are known to get very ugly over time and use. 2- Mirror version looks sick on photos. Well, it doesn't look that good in real. The touch pad on top left is a very, very nice touch, but the overall look of the keyboard isn't very good as the mirror effect rather give the feeling this is a 100% cheap plastic keyboard. Even the feeling when touching the keys isn't good, I suspect, however, the non-slipping version to have a great feeling. I don't know what kind of mirror effect/plastic Razer use, but it's not good.Next, but this isn't about the product, I bough it "opened box" to save money as it's very pricy. Well, I will never do this again and I am disappointed (for the first time) about NCIX as the keyboard was really heavily used. In fact, it showed marks of use all over it (small scratches). It was at least cleaned (no fingertips), but, still, it's far, far from new. Nothing dramatic, but, still, I thought opened box didn't mean "used".The non-mirror version of this keyboard may be a VERY interesting choice if the keys stay intact over time.

A good looking gaming keyboard that feels great to type on. It is a hassle to keep clean if you want to keep it looking shiny all the time. I had to RMA my first purchase as several keys are broken due to cracked underside clip and it seemed that the underside of each keys are made of thin cheap plastic clips that looked like it might crack if I am to pop them off to clean the keyboard in the future. Nonetheless it is a good gaming keyboard and I'm hoping the first one is probably just my bad luck.

Althought this is a fingerprint magnet, it can be cleaned easily. I wmuch perfer the look and feel of this keyboard over the non special edition version. They have worked out most for the bugs but, they reduced some fuctionality with their updates.Al-in-all it is a great buy.

I managed to price match this keyboard and thought it was time to replace an old M$ one that I was using. I saw this one and scoured the web for reviews (which were quite favourable) and put the order in. Overall, this is a very nice keyboard which doesn't have a larger footprint than my old keyboard. The glossy finish on the unit is extremely nice but as others have noted, it is a fingerprint magnet. Luckily there is a cloth included in the packaging for just that. The keys themselves have a fairly short stroke length so should make this a great unit for gaming. A slight complaint on my part is that you need the LED lighting on all the time because the lettering on the keys is hard to read unless it's on (especially with the glossy finish).I would recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a gaming keyboard that doesn't take up a huge amount of real estate on your desk. Hopefully this keyboard will last me as long as my old one.

this is by far one of the best keyboards i've used to date. its sleek and durable. it's lightweight and this keyboard actually sticks to the desk rather with its rubber feets. the glow is very well lit throughout the keyboard and the shiny keys feel smooth.it's worth the $50 just wouldn't buy it for $100

Other than the fact that it is going to be shipped back soon. I am getting another back. I figure i was just unlucky, and i honestly can not wait to get it back. It is a fingerprint magnet, but it does come with a cloth,a nd with some dedication you can clean it once a day :), not much trouble.

I love it. Just don't buy it for regular price because I don't think it's worth $100. Lucky me, picked it up suprise sale for $60, sweet! The illumination is so much better than my last illum keyboard. & right now it makes my mouse look HIDEOUS! LOL!
