Comment:
Great tracking, fantastic battery life, Very easily plug and play to switch in between wired and wireless configs without having screwing up sensitivity profiles, even when in mid game. Braided cable is much more free moving, and is hardly noticeable. Incredibly light weight, and sturdy. Incredibly comfortable, even after lengthy periods of gaming. Wireless mode doesn't track really subtle movements while playing at 5600 dpi as effectively as you would hope, but doesn't have that difficulty in wired mode. Playing at these sensitivities generally suggests a bump can send your cross hair reeling, so while I noted the light weight as a pro, it may well even be too light. The profile buttons are on the left click side, as apposed to beneath the scroll wheel in previous generations, which I personally don't like as a lot, as I sometimes discover myself clicking them accidentally in a fire fight, a problem I didn't have with my previous Lachesis razor. Haven't experimented with the macro configurations substantially, but what I have, appears promising. I wouldn't propose playing shooters wirelessly, at least not if you plan on maximizing your sensitivity choices. For practically anything else this mouse is an exceptional investment.

This mouse is gorgeous. Almost as attractive as the packaging. It feels nice in my hand. The mouse wheel has a very good really feel to it.You can use it as a wired mouse or as a wireless 1. When utilizing it as a wired mouse, it charges itself. The connector is a typical mini-USB, so replacing it won't be an challenge, if I have to (except the cable it comes with is seriously nice and has a contoured connector so it fits much better).I like the substantial gap in between the left and suitable mouse buttons. It's additional comfortable to hold a finger on the mouse wheel that way. Also, the mouse is angled so that the left mouse button is a fair bit higher than the correct. It tends to make it much more organic to hold. You can use the shoulder buttons (the ones at the corner of the left mouse button) to adjust the sensitivity. The charge LEDs indicate the sensitivity setting. This is nice for switching amongst Starcraft (need incredibly low sensitivity to navigate 640x480) and typical usage (two high-res monitors). It's not incredibly inexpensive. I couldn't get the LEDs to turn off, even working with the configuration tool, but I don't actually care about that. The buttons take incredibly small stress to click. It takes some finding utilized to, coming from a Logitech MX Revolution -- I have to hold the Mamba far more lightly.I'm still obtaining applied to the sensitivity. I'm going to suck in SC2 for a whilst.

Excellent shape, create top quality.. and a year and a half good reliability and when in wireless mode the variety is insane. battery is soo weak that wireless mode is a moot point, I just retain it wired. Kinda unforgivable flaw there. I have smaller sized female hands, so this mouse has been a joy for me to use. If the battery life was there so a single could use the wireless for days like you can with any other rf mouse, I would buy one particular for my other computer.

This mouse has some great attributes. It is lightweight and has smooth and even motion across any surface. Also, the 5600 DPI is a plus. Most programs dont make use of that, but on very first particular person shooters, you notice the distinction. Game with it virtually every single night and genuinely makes a distinction. The jack on the wireless stand is really tough to attach to very first time. After that, the USB cord plugs ideal in, devoid of any problems whatsoever. Even so, a single of the factors that could be an situation, if you are severe about gaming, you will almost certainly not go wireless with a mouse. Most pros dont go wireless with their tools since of interference and reduce timing responses to their movements and the latency increases more than a wireless transmission versus a wired transmission. Good mouse all round. Dont listen to critiques that trash hardware due to ignorance or lack of experience and know-how. Not the best mouse ever, but far from getting a bad piece of hardware.

I finish up making use of this mouse plugged in far more generally then not, the cable is quite high top quality and doesn't alter the really feel considerably, but the batter life is a bit sad.(this may well be the outcome of buying a refurb) I would recomend this mouse, like I stated... I purchased it as a refurb for only 70$ and it was additional than worth it for 70. I would say if you have it in your price range, GET THIS MOUSE

Feels fantastic in the hand. Has some outstanding customization if you want to get into that. Poor battery designɅ - have to have computer system on for the cradle to performtwo - charging it "on the fly" needs unplugging the cradle and plugging it into the mouse. This has never worked for me, the cradle is only place appears to do decent job of charging.three - for a 财 this must have had 2 batteries and way to charge 1 battery while playing on the other one. I have personal mice for ๠ - 贄 that allow this.My very first encounter with the charge running out wasn't pretty. Rather challenging to get the cable off with no pressing a mouse button in an emergency, so all hell can break loose. Not to mention with only 1 battery, it runs out in the middle of your gaming day, your *censored*.Other consɅ - have to sometimes replug the USB cord to get the mouse to come back to life2 - scroll wheel has way also significantly play I purchased this at *censored* since I wanted it appropriate away. I was rather excited by it's seeming abilities. A month later I began singing a different tune. It's not a bad mouse on the wire, nonetheless this is far from getting worth the orginal obtain cost I made. Also I purchased this to have a wireless gaming mouse, not a wired mouse!I could give Razer one far more attempt, but too be truthful I really feel a slight burning sensation at this time. *sad burnt panda face* Manufacturer Response:Hello,I do hope you give the Razer Mamba a different attempt. The Razer Mamba is a gaming grade wireless mouse and features a should more quickly response time than is feasible with a Bluetooth connection. Therefore, a charging base/cradle with Razer’s own propriety pairing computer software is utilized. With any wireless mouse there will be a frantic time if the battery runs out of energy in a middle of a game. With the Razer Mamba you must be capable to rapidly disconnect the USB cord from the docking station and snap it into the mouse. This allows you to continue gaming though in the corded mode. The Mamba also has LEDs on the side of the mouse that let you know your remaining battery life and to hopefully assist avoid operating out of juice at that crucial moment. Uncomplicated to customize buttons to my requires, superior than my old Microsoft Sidewinder. So nice to be capable to set the DPI settings on this mouse the way "I" want them instead of obtaining to deal with only 3 fixed settings. Glides across my Goliathus Speed pad and is not so slick that when I move it I fall out of my chair! Initial wireless mouse I have owned and is straightforward to set up appropriate out of the box! 64 bit compatable! No lag or problems when I lift the mouse off the pad. So far it is well worth the income I spent for it, I will come back later after a few weeks and either improve my rating or decrease it based on how effectively it holds up to "Crysis two Restricted Edition" that I have pre ordered. I believe this mouse is a winner! It could be just a little bit greater for my hand but then my hands are larger than most. NewEgg didn't double box this mouse when they shipped it to me which sort of dissapointed me especially immediately after how significantly this mouse expense, RMAs are a PITB! Came with twoǙrds of a charge and I am asking yourself how lengthy it will last prior to I have to place it in the charging dock. Got the Armadillo with this mouse to make sure the dock doesn't get knocked off the desk and it makes it appear full. They confident went to great lengths on the packaging also, quite an elaborate presentation, hope the mouse is great as the work they place into the packaging, we'll see!

I actually adapted to exactly where i could use it with out becoming blocked and it still never ever very could track appropriate for me...after like 2 weeks of battling with the factor i plugged my G5 back in and Quickly felt at home...all around. just unhappy with the solution soon after getting so psyched for it...thank goodness for a 30 day trial from b3$tbuy!! ɛ only purpose i went with them over newegg this time...

WAS a nice mouse with nice attributes... when it worked. Haven't had this mouse for ten months and the lazer is currently dead on it. Attempted all the drivers and also tried it on several other PCs. All the buttons perform fine but the lazer is dead. Razer you have nerve charging what you do for this trash, specifically with all that boasting you do about becoming "the ideal". Tech assistance was helpless. I should have under no circumstances switched from Logitech. Never ever had any concerns with my G5 even immediately after five years of abuse, spilled beer and pizza grease on it. Tossing the Mamba in the trash and getting a Logitech Gx9 for HALF the price tag.

Wonderful item. Properly created, comfy, quite smooth motion. on the fly sensitivity change is excellent, the buttons are by the left mouse button and it's simple to switch, plus with the lights at the bottom it's simple to see what setting you are at. not truly a con, but the mouse is a tiny bigger than what I thought it would be. It is still truly comfy even though. This is surely the very best mouse I've ever owned and I've owned a lot. Fantastic for gaming and everyday browsing.

Wireless and has identical overall performance as a top tier wired mouse. Can wire it if required. No drops or problems with wireless or cursor for me. Simple sleek shape and not as well many buttons. Works excellent on the Destructor surface. It has the identical shape as the Deathadder, which I also like a lot. Fantastic battary life. The scroll wheel has some squeaky noise after in awhile. The software package performs to do whatever you want, but accessing it is way way way too slow. We are talking 20 - 30 seconds load instances and then it requires that lengthy to compose new information to the mouse as effectively. The cons are not deal breakers and do not effect the function of the mouse. I do not continuously modify points on the mouse and have not used the software for months, but it seems way to slow to me, but again there are no functionality issues. The scroll wheel concerns is not as poor as it sounds as it only actually makes any noise when I scroll truly speedily. I do feel the mouse needs to be packaged with less fanfare and the value requires to be dropped to about 100 as this mouse is a couple years old now and the competitors has some actually fantastic mice out now for much less.

Looks fantastic whilst having two buttons beside the left click for on the fly sensitivity modify (you can customize how many and the dpi of each and every setting). Just the appropriate quantity of buttons. Uncomplicated but with a small bit additional. Lights up with blue led`s on each and every side of the mouse wheel and the charging dock. And the potential to conserve profile settings so you can swiftly modify all the settings based what your carrying out (macros, button assignments and what objects light up). And the buttons click with tiny effort. All in all a superb upgrade from my logitech mouse and so far i have had no troubles none worth mentioning I read other reviews of this on the internet site and i have to say for the most element are wrong. If the lighting bothers you there is a setting in the driver to turn it off. As for battery life, I`m a quite lengthy gamer and i haven't had it die on me but. Even if it died it had the usb cord that u can plug it into and continue playing the primary function of this mouse. And truly if you cant bear in mind to put it on the charging dock when your completed and nonetheless complain about battery life then you shouldn't obtain this mouse. It is a good mouse some folks just like to complain.

Rechargeable, 7 sensitivity settings built into mouse perfect when going from Assault class to Sniper class, Smooth gliding across my desk, no need to have for mousepad, can go wired/wireless though I barely use wired. All about outstanding gaming mouse. Kind of pricey, but I really think it's worth it. the rubbing padding on the side of the mouse pops out of the corner, but I pop it back in. Also I generally accidentally press the 2 buttons on the left side of the mouse all the time which isn't a problem unless I'm playing a browser based flash game and it causes my browser to back track. I don't like that i wish there was a way to re-plan that without installing the software program for the mouse. Awesome gaming mouse. The packaging for the mouse is a small more than the top, but I guess tha'ts what you get when you drop 财 for a mouse.

This mouse fits my hand perfectly. All the buttons are right exactly where I'd want them. The OSX driver is missing essential attributes. It does not present a way to map the thumb buttons to actions. I can not setup these buttons to navigate back and forward. Rather they both just bring up the scroll icon which is fairly useless. I'd count on no trouble remapping buttons on a mouse that fees 贄 much less. I would anticipate that if you're going to place an OSX logo on the box that all the functions must really be present in OSX.

Ability to use wired or wirelessRelatively complete customization capability w/softwareAsthetically pleasing Ridiculously slow to respond to programming computer software. Frequently hangs for minutes.Battery life in wireless mode is badThe DPI switching buttons are terribly developed, being as well smaller and in-spot with the key left-click button, they are difficult to use and almost IMPOSSIBLE to use in rapid, in-game situations with no hitting the left click. The programming computer software will at least left you change what buttons can be utilized for DPI switching. This mouse is incredibly average for a 贘 price tag tag. Probably if Razer ditched the ridiculously ego-inflating museum-like display case, all the packaging stickers and other garbage this mouse comes with, they could get it to a sub-贄 price tag point. This may well nevertheless be as well significantly for a mouse that in pure efficiency, doesn't match the Logitech G9x which sells for ๖.

1). Ideal performing wireless mouse ever created.2). Switchable amongst wireless and wired mode.three). Great battery life (relative to the stellar performance) if you turn off the lights on the mouse when operating in wireless mode.four). You can turn off the lights on the mouse via the Mamba configuration software program. 1). Laser efficiency on most pads can make or break this mouse. Cloth pads are a virtual impossibility and numerous dark pads (hard or soft) can bring about much less than stellar efficiency.2). Poor style of the shell for the Mamba may well render the device feeling like a low-cost piece of plastic/rubber in a short time. The finger buttons may well wear and really feel 'squishy' or squeak whereas other good quality mice usually retain a solid really feel whilst clicking. The rubber side grips may also begin to peel off more than time (this can be corrected with some Super Glue to protect your investment).three). Poor battery life with the lights on the mouse activated (default state). The lights either should not have been implemented or only activated upon wired connection. The purpose for this con relates straight to con Ţ...4). Very clunky user interface. Application of settings is slow and may well not function if you move the mouse whilst the device is updating. Installation of software program is essential to disable the lights. I paid 贡.99 for this mouse at Best Acquire shortly immediately after it was released because I was rather happy with my Razer Lachesis and assumed Razer had created a solid product provided all the hype. Whilst the wireless performance in general is exceptional the mouse has a slew of other problems. It took me 3 mouse pads to discover it's optimal mate (SteelSeries SX). All other pads would either not track correctly or lead to jittering when clicking (depending on how you hold the mouse). Numerous months and several firmware revisions later Razer decided to alleviate this problem by implementing a non-gaming, sensitivity tracking algorithm that triggered the mouse to be much less responsive on the lower finish (i.e. while moving the mouse slowly or moving from a cease position). This ruined the mouse for any significant/professional gamer and the concern has not been addressed by Razer because. The mouse has been swept under the rug. The last operating firmware was 1.06 and seems to no longer be readily available from Razer. Sad. Manufacturer Response:I apologize about any problems Bill. Your Razer Mamba really should not be possessing any tracking troubles on any mats. Your battery life and overall overall performance of the Mamba ought to be outstanding. - Wireless OR wired, take your favorite style- really responsive weather wired or not- 7 macro-able buttons- customizable DPI settings, and the ability to adjust it on the fly- ERGONOMIC!- not commonly pointed out with mice...but it is heavy. Some folks may prefer a lighter mouse, but I think this 1 has the great weight. It just feels solid. The scroll wheel on my model squeaks when I roll it...although I suspect my brother spilled some thing on it. I purchased this mouse about a year ago with the Razer Lycosa keyboard (also a good item) and have had no difficulties with either of them. I've purchased Razer's goods for a really extended time now, and am extremely satisfied with all of my purchases.

Eye-catching; the most lovely mouse on the market place, in my opinion. I was disappointed that the Razer logo isn't illuminated like other Razer mice, but I've truly grown to prefer it.Glides nicely; I have a Razer Goliathus Manage Edition, and this glides with really tiny friction.Wireless capabilities; I personally believe it is way, way overstated that wireless performance is poor. This mouse has never acted in such a way that caused me to die in very first-particular person shooters. I discover the wireless performance on par with the wired performance, and you may even play Superior than wired if you are having problems with corded tension/tabletop friction.Battery life; my mouse runs wirelessly all through about 10 hours of moderate to heavy use, which is enough to last me all day generally. I just put it on the charger at evening (which looks incredibly attractive), and it charges with no my Computer even becoming on.Shape and grip; DeathAdder has no grip on the side: this does. Best shape and really feel, I A few glitches; it can be a tiny fidgity just right after you turn it on (and ONLY just immediately after you turn it on, in my case). There are a handful of minor glitches I've encounter, also, such as when I thought my Mamba's laser died because all the mouse buttons works, but the cursor wouldn't move. Effectively, I tried almost everything, EXCEPT to turn it off, then back on. Durr. It continued to function perfectly thereafter.Phillips laser; the cursor move a couple pixels when I press the mouse buttons. The identical issue occurred with my Lachesis, but significantly, substantially worse, to the point where it was even complicated to browse the web. My Mamba, nonetheless, only moves to a degree that is annoying at first, but does not interfere with my potential to click links or other precise tasks (although I most likely wouldn't advise it to a graphic designer). The battery panel; it is actually, really difficult to take off. I only wanted to experiment with the weight of the mouse, so I just gave up attempting to open it. Cons, continued:Price; it's obviously incredibly expensive. The cost is not worth it's function, but I locate you can't place a value on getting the mouse that feels great in your hand. I felt the DeathAdder had the ideal shape; nevertheless, the sides are quite hard to grip, as they plastic and don't make it possible for any leverage, and this produced an otherwise perfect mouse really uncomfortable for me to use. I would have been prepared to settle with my Lachesis, but the aforementioned cursor difficulty was unacceptable as nicely. This mouse solved all of my troubles, so I was willing to fork more than all of my birthday cash.Other thoughts:I've seen other reviews mention that it is tough, untimely, and cumbersome to plug and unplug the mouse's cord into the charger or mouse. I located this to be untrue. Besides, if you permit your mouse to die in the middle of a thing crucial, that is your fault, as there is a battery life indicator.
