Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons: Real constant use battery life is more like 4-7 hours. Cannot sync via bluetooth. MUST use docking station. The materials used in it's manufacturing make it a bit annoying to clean.

Pros: Wireless with absolutely no lag in games of any kind.Easily programmable buttonsYou can turn the LED lights off on the mouseMany DPI settings. Can use two mamba's synced on one docking station.
Comment:
LOVE the wireless mouse. If you have cash, get two to work-around current battery issues. There are cheaper solutions that offer this functionality nowadays. To clean it, use water with a nice cloth. Never get oils on it. I haven't but I've read numerous reviews that oil is definitely bad for the material used. I normally loathe Razer products due to how "hello I am a consumer tool" it looks, but the mouse is solid albiet the battery life. You ARE paying for the name/looks, but the wireless functionality is perfect. If you don't like blue-glow, STAY AWAY ;)

Best Mouse I Have Used By Far. I Have Been A Gamer For The Last 7 Years Of My Life And Not Once Has Razer Let Me Down I Currently Own This Mouse And A Razer Vespula. I Would By Them Both For My Other Gaming Rig If I Had The Money To Shell Out. This Mouse Is Amazing In Game And There Is No Comparison To The RAT 5/7 As People Always Compare This To. This Mouse Is Not An Ugly Transformer But A Sleek, Stylish Top Of The Line Razer Product. Nothing Compares To It. That Is All.

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons: all, bad form, bad response, switching between wireless and wired mode causes nothing but problems, battery life sucks

Pros: none, everything about it Sounds good, false advertising.
Comment:
what a piece of garbage, save your money and buy something thats worth it because this thing is most deffinatly NOT. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. switching between wired/wireless mode.. which you pretty much have to do once a day because their supposed 72hr battery life. is more like 7.2hrs with the mouse barely being used. switching from wired to wireless also causes the mouse to stop responding/clicking to stop working... most times resulting in a reboot needed for the mouse to function again, the software is buggy. it lags and crashes often. all in all for 149$, completely unsatisfactory product, razer should be utterly ashamed for putting out such a hackjob product, R&D much guys? its called fixing problems before release to public. Screw you razer. will never buy another razer product again because of this.

Cons: no side scroll, timely to write on memory, single colour led (blue)

Pros: 1ms response time wired or wireless, 1000hz polling rate, 5600dpi, macros, great feel and looks, battery meter
Comment:
This mouse is in a league of it's own, this is well worth the price and should meet and exceed everyone's expectations for a mouse. There is good firmware and a nice app just a bit slow at writing onto the synapss memory but it does not matter this is the best mouse out there!!!

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons: High price(but worth it IMO)Battery lifeCable detach mechanism

Pros: Great performanceExcellent aestheticsVery comfortable
Comment:
I had this mouse for about 8 months and I have been mostly satisfied thus far. Works and looks great, met my expectations there. Really great feel and comfortable for daily use and gaming. I bought it at the $100 sale price and I would say it was worth it to me if you value your input devices like I do given the usage time you give them.Initially the battery would last about 3 days, maybe longer really depends on daily usage. Now it's charge every 2nd night and I will probably make it a habit now to dock it every night which is not a big deal in the long run. One gripe that is still a small problem is when I do run out of juice and need charging I will plug it in which is convenient, but the entrance design may sometimes be hard to slot and the button for detaching the cable is always a pain to use to detach the cable. All in all though best mouse I have owned thus far, compared to my old logitech mx510 which I loved that is stored away still.

Cons: softwarepricePackaging*

Pros: ComfortStylePackaging*
Comment:
this is a very solid mouse, but you pay a very solid price. I would have been happy to see this mouse sell for less and have a less extravagant packaging. It looks great yeah, but not worth the price markup as it doesn't make the mouse perform any better(would be nice if there was a cheaper packaged version as well as the fancy "display" model.Once you break the mouse free of its glass prison though it is sleek comfortable and all the mouse you need for gaming, the on the fly dpi buttons are great for changing the sensitivity in fps games. My biggest disappointment was the software included as if you run it o start up every time your pc boots it takes a while to load, even on a 3.7ghz quad-core.A great mouse overall would recommend to a friend, but would also be extremely happy to have seen it come in at a lower price-point.

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons: Battery life

Pros: Expensive over the top packaging Extremely comfortableLooks slick (Glowy bits, Charging pedestal) Wired/Wireless modes (no difference in performance)1000 - 5600 Adjustable DPIMacrosall that other razer goodness
Comment:
I used a razer Lachesis and various Logitech mice before I purchased the Mamba, and while I was skeptical at first because of the poor reviews I pulled the trigger when it was on sale for $89.99. After using the mouse for almost a month I can say that this is definitely one of the best if not the best mouse I ever used. You have everything you expect from razer (Extremely high adjustable DPI, custom macros, amazing ergonomics, slick looks, 1000hz polling, on-board memory) and now they added wireless mode. While I have to say the only downside of this mouse is the battery life it is bearable if you don't mind charging every night. The battery usually lasts for about 8 - 10 hours of normal usage instead of their advertised 15 hours. That does not mean you shouldn't pick up this mouse because switching over to wired mode takes literally 5 seconds. Amazing mouse, solid build and great features.

Pros: Comfort, Accuracy, Customizability, Coolness
Comment:
This is bar none the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. Also right away you can tell it has quality crafftmanship. Plus I love being able to seitch from wired to wireless. The only downside is that for a gamer or anyone else addicted to the computer the battery life is just not long enough at 6h or less.

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons: communicating pending battery failure could be much better implemented, software needs an overhaul

Pros: Comfortable, well built, prestige item
Comment:
This is my first ever gaming mouse, so I can only compare it to the $30 wireless mouse I had before. I only wish I had used a gaming mouse sooner. I wanted wireless, and the Mamba seems like the only one that is decent in that regard. Didn't want to pay $170 for a mouse, but when it went on sale for $99 I grabbed it. Overall great quality, but driver and utility issues hamper it. I am using Win7 64-bit and the utility is glitchy. It takes about 30-60 seconds to read the onboard memory when you want to make changes, and about the same to write to the on board memory to save changes...hate that aspect. Also, the battery indicator on the side is great, but how about an option for an on screen prompt that the battery is going to die. More than a few times I died in MP games because the mouse just suddenly turn off. If you're goint to get this make sure you use a good mouse pad though...went from cheapo cloth to Razer Destructor and the difference is night and day.

Not worth the price
Comment:
Upgraded from an MX 5000 and was very excited to try this thing out after reading the reviews. Unfortunately I didn't check the internet for reviews prior to spending an arm and a leg for a mouse. The wireless responsiveness or capabilities of the mouse during games was intermittent. Every 2-3 seconds, the mouse would become unresponsive for a fraction of a second which for gaming, is the worst thing you could have. I tried reinstalling the drivers for the mouse as well as my board drivers, but still no improvement. Now I just leave the mouse plugged in to the cord and it works flawlessly. The only problem then is that at that price, to not be able to use the wireless technology is a real downer! I would never be able to recommend this product because of that.

Comment:
I am using this as a CAD mouse, it replaced a $20 wireless logitech and the feel of this mouse is amazing. It floats on the mouse pad like its on an air hockey table compared to my logitech which is like dragging a log. Lots of good features but a bit pricey. But when you use a computer 8-10 hours a day $120 for a mouse is worth it if it helps your wrist feel better at the end of the day

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:Slightly excessive packaging, mouse wire is difficult to unplug from the mouse.

Pros:Comfortable, responsive, on the fly adjustably
Comment:
All round great mouse. The adjustable sensitivity is very nice. Wired/wireless switching could be smoother, but it's never come out by accident.I found the packaging to be excessive, but it really made unpacking the mouse feel special. I figure that most people would throw away the box, but I removed the clear mouse holder and use it as a stand for the wireless base. The mouse wheel has developed a squeaking sound, but it's not a large issue.

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons: 1. Going from wired to wireless is NOT seamless. In my case, every time I do the swap, the cursor of the mouse does not work (buttons do though). I have to turn the mouse OFF/ON to reinitialize it. Since I turn it off, the polling frequency resets to 500hz and has to be changed back to 1000hz (check 4-5). 2. Sleep mode. Every time my mouse goes into sleep mode for a certain period of time, it does not resume properly. This was supposedly addressed in the firmware update, and I can confirm that it was tampered with as the results are different now… Before the update, the mouse would look as if it were working (battery lights on, changing profiles via mouse buttons worked), but the mouse itself did not work (cursor and buttons). I would have to turn ON/OFF the mouse to wake it up (and reset polling rate). After the firmware update, it can now sometimes work, but there are still chances it will bug. I have seen 3 scenarios up to now: - Same as pre-update. - The buttons work but not the cursor (going wired/wireless fixed the problem). - The cursor locks up every 10 seconds (wired/wireless does NOT work, I am currently stuck with this!) 3. Waking up the mouse takes up to 8 seconds (when it works)! You are reading this right…up to 8 seconds. 8 seconds of staring at your computer screen for the cursor to become active (buttons work though). It does seem however that the mouse has more than 1 sleeping stage, as if you stop using the mouse for 2-3 min, waking it up takes 1 second. Apparently this is normal behavious and “Moving it around your mouse pad usually helps speed up the wake-up process.” (From one of their tech support replies) 4. The Mamba configurator must read the on-board memory of the mouse every time it is opened. In wired mode this takes 3-4 seconds. In wireless however, this takes at least 10 seconds. Writing the firmware via wireless takes longer, and occurs when you click APPLY and OK. This means that every time you make a change, the firmware is written 2 times, once upon pressing ‘apply’, and once upon pressing ‘ok’ to close the application. 5. The Mamba configurator locks up ALL INPUT DEVICES for a few seconds when reading/writing the firmware (Only sais the mouse so in the popup). In my case it locks my PS2 keyboard and my Deathadder (plugged when I was comparing the 2). Therefore it is not only limited to USB. Seeing how it locks I/O for a few seconds, I do not think it would be a good idea to open the configurator while performing I/O on external devices (ie: transferring data to a USB drive). 6. On my specific mouse, the 6th button (default Sensitivity stage up) is hard to press. While this is a problem, a simple RMA would fix it. No need to elaborate on that. Manufacturing errors occur… 7. On my specific mouse, even when the battery is fully charged, the power bars only light up 2/3 bars.

Pros:looks cool, feels good in your hand

his is a quick review/rant of my problems with the mouse. Note that if it worked properly, it would easily be the greatest mouse ever made. In wired mode it will work for 2 seconds then stall for 1 second. In wireless mode it will work for 5 seconds then stall for 1 second. Excellent Gaming Mouse
Comment:
I recently upgraded from an MX5000 Laser mouse to the Mamba. At first I was weary of paying $120 for a mouse, but in the end I am glad I made the purchase. This is the best gaming mouse out there today. I immediately felt the differences once I first used the Mamba. I love how it feels in my hand. The ergonomics are excellent. The quality and finish of the product is the best I have ever seen. I am an avid PC gamer and spend hours per day on my PC so this was definitely worth every penny. I use the wireless mode all the time and I just place it in the charger each night so it never runs low on battery on me. Only once have I had to plug in the wire to charge while gaming. Overall this product is excellent. The packaging it came in was very professional. The charger itself is much better than my old charger. And the lighting on the charger and mouse look terrific. If you are a daily gamer like myself do not hesitate to purchase this mouse.
