Some said that the mouse doesn't recharge even though their laptop is off. This is dependant on your motherboard. My laptop or computer allows USB power to be fed while the system is off. You can\'t blame the mouse for this. Absolutely nothing more to report. Excellent gaming ;)

1st of all, this mouse is lovely. The design is what got me to buy this item. The mouse is great, battery life is not so superior nevertheless, I can charge the mouse on the dock even though my computer is off. I don't know regardless of whether its Razer's mouse function or my motherboard function, but it does charge while my laptop or computer is off; so I can charge it all through the night. I am very paranoid about keeping the mouse in superior condition (I don't want any scratches or any noticeable wear on it), on the other hand, I've been making use of this mouse given that August 2010, and there is noticeable wear (where the fingers click) and some scratches. I recently located a solution to this challenge of paranoia of mine; its Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser. This eraser is what it advertises to be- magic; it removed all the noticeable wear and scratches. If your paranoid like me, you really should give it a try, the eraser worked on this mouse- keeping it in like new condition. battery- see pros*

Excellent fit for my hand, lights are great with my method, flawless from wired to wireless and back, smooth gaming up to 5600 dpi, glides like silk on the destructor pad (should have purchased vespula although), charges quickly sufficient for me. Excellent quaility build. Kills my old logitech G7 which I turned on the other day just for fun and I could by no means go back to 2000 dpi soon after working with the mamba. The squeak... can could not stand the squeak for a lengthy time and it created rapidly following the 1st month. I ended up taking the cover off and applying some teflon bike chain oil to the mouse wheel bar with a toothpick though rolling the wheel untile the squeak went away. It's been silent for practically a year now and functions as great as ever.

This mouse is seriously great, like the looks of it and it performes really great on wired mode. Now when it comes to the wireless, which the mouse was created ment to be a wireless device.. it becomes horrible to mention..the thing that maked me go nuts about this mouse is that the cursor jumps all about the desktop, it skips randomly whenever i move the mouse..and while gaming on the net.. here where factors gets really negative, i died quite a few times on CoD because of this problem, that created me play games only on wired mode.i don't know if this is a lack of a drivers but i'm certainly positive it's not a hardware problem, considering that the dilemma disappears on wired mode. The battary can be easly drained for a typical employing, i say about 14 hours due to a regular world wide web usage, about ten hours for gaming, while you will need to charge it for about 4-7 hours to make it full again. In the end of this: Thanks Razer for this good item, and not Thanks for these negative DRIVERS! Manufacturer Response:Hey Rovian,I am sorry about your troubles. Please contact the Razer Support team at www.razersupport.com and we get this difficulty corrected for you. You do want to make positive you have flashed the newest firmware and have the most recent drivers installed. Thanks for your support. Razer|Wave

Incredibly smooth operation. I can set this factor on my mouse pad and give it a little spin and it maintain spinning for some time. Least resistance of any mouse I have ever utilised. I like this mouse a lot and am thinking of getting a spair one. I have to take the base station and put it on its side to get perfect wireless connection. Seems like the radio directs the signal downward and my table is thick. I am not confident of all that but I do know the mouse works much better with the base on its side with the bottom facing the mouse. If you are a gamer or just like a high good quality mouse I recommend you give this 1 a attempt.

Sleek design, good ergonomics, works as each wireless and wired mouse. The firmware updates seem to have sorted out the early difficulties the mouse suffered from (read other thoughts). Overpriced for the difficulties it has. The battery life is really low, and I had to go to wired mode permanently immediately after finding sick of recharging it every single other day. Much more importantly, the sides are glued rubber, and if you use the mouse often (every day) these start off to slip and slide around. Extremely low cost to have these glued pads, and it drove me crazy sufficient for me to finally purchase a new mouse because of it. I got the mamba appropriate when it released, and like a number of early adopters had to request a new teflon o-ring from Razer to get rid of the jittery-ness. If you notice your cursor shaking when you're not even touching the mouse, email Razer support for a new o-ring. Also, be certain to update your firmware.

Looks stunning. Created of comfortable supplies. Seamlessly goes from wireless to wired. Terrible battery life Ƒ-two days). You're greater off just leaving the mouse plugged in. Also feels a tad light compared to my logitech mx revolution. Makes a near great, simple, wired mouse. Wireless mode functions quite nicely except for the incredibly short battery life.

-Feels fantastic-Very responsive-Wireless/Wired capability-Best for WoW & Black Ops-Looks awesome -Kinda pricey This is a good mouse. The mouse buttons all feel good, not like the buttons on the WoW Steelseries mouse I was employing before. I also like this mouse's smaller form.Kinda pricey for a mouse, but, hey, you've gotta spoil your self a bit at times. Life's too short, am I ideal?

5600dpi possibly .. yep. I have to say that all the hype of this mouse was a thing I wasn't going to buy into. I necessary a wired mouse to feel like an elite gamer. Like there was some thing I was giving up. I didn't even take the pedestal out of the box for the very first couple of days. Then... I tried it... and properly absolutely nothing... but that's excellent!!! Mainly because I didn't notice a bit of difference even though playing fps games!! Well even though the battery lasts a good lengthy time, I have an high priced gaming personal computer that I don't leave operating all the time. So eh.. when can I charge it? When I require it? Hmmm... ahh yes the usb cable unplugs from the dock and plugs into the mouse and you can charge whilst you play... yes.. it functions... but gets old quick. How lengthy will it last if I unplug and plug that in on a 2 day cycle. Not thrilled about the scroll wheel. Kinda free of charge moving left to right. lot of play there... nearly thought it moved left to appropriate like a G5 at first. Scrolling is very good although just additional play than vital. All for lighting?

Enjoy this mouse. Its a gaming mouse. Charge it, play games. Charge it, Play games. If following an 18 hour WOW marathon it dies: A. Get a life B. Quickly move cord from base to mouse. Play far more. It's Ergo, its light, it looks awesome (Base and mouse make a wonderful night light while its charging. Turn all the pretty lights off even though playing although to conserve battery) The style of the base is a small "funky" from time to time complicated to get the mouse balanced "just appropriate" to charge correctly. Just watch the LEDS when they cycle its charging. Doesnt genuinely require a lock on the mouse for the cord, a friction connection would have been fine (and saved a buck or two) The cost point is a little high. But the mouse is the best cordless I've each used for gaming. There are others out there that may well have additional capabilities, longer battery life, etc but they are not nearly as responsive as this one. Get it when its on sale and enjoy.

- Appropriate / Left mouse click incredibly simple to push down- the form fit my hand perfectly- extremely light - Driver download is major, larger then the Blackwidow Ultamite driver, roughly 37.6mb. Excellent mouse, only been utilizing for a couple hours now. Operates wonderful with the Razer Goliathus Fragged Edition mouse pad.

Exceptional comfort, uncomplicated and effective design, quite responsive, tons of customization selections by means of Razer utility such as macros, very best sensitivity adjustments, good blue neon accents that can be disabled if you want the mouse and/or charging station with out lights, smooth movement, great balance and weight, NO lag on wired or wireless, Pc & Mac compatible software/hardware, wonderful charging base, high excellent braided cable, excellent size battery thats not too bulky but will give a excellent charge. High-priced (but WORTH Every PENNY, so its not seriously a drawback) Dont let the inexperienced rookies that gave 1 or two egg ratings scare you away from the ideal gaming mouse out there. Try it. You will in no way buy another mouse. And believe me, Ive attempted them all... @Tech Particulars - You should have an additional problem with your setup as the utility and driver loads practically immediately on both my Computer and Mac.@Chris - Nothing crashes on my machine and there is completely no lag. Check your settings/setup once more.@NA - The battery has worked perfectly, charges quickly, lasts for weeks when utilized off and on.@osx - Just boot into Windows/Bootcamp and config the mouse how you want, then save the settings. Reboot into OSX and you will have all your mappings. In addition, it is lightyears ahead of other gaming mice such as the R.A.T.S mice by MadCatz. (MadCatz=JUNK)As long as Razer makes the Mamba, they will have a consumer for life!

Wireless, but charge-n-play if you forget to charge it overnight. Simply adjusted sensitivity. Battery life was significantly improved with the firmware update, so make certain you do that if you get this mouse. You'll nonetheless want to charge it overnight if you use it 8+ hours a day, but just before you wouldn't even make it though that; now immediately after that lengthy you'll have about 1Ǚ of the battery left. Braided cord for added durability. Super smooth and silent movement thanks to the teflon feet (which can be replaced via the Razer site if you wear them down. Easily visible battery life indicator. Blue light on the scroll wheel looks good; wish the battery indicator lights matched. ;) When you plug in the charge cable it looks like it's just a regular corded mouse. I'm a little female with small hands but I enjoy the really feel of this mouse. Really comfy. Cost is a bit of a discomfort, but you almost certainly aren't even seeking at this if you can't afford to devote it. I personally believe it's worth it after attempting the other wireless gaming mice out there. I read some of the comments complaining about the scroll wheel being squeaky and now I can occasionally hear mine squeaking but only when going up and never loud enough to bother me; then again I generally have the Television and games generating noise. I suppose if it were silent in my home it could be bothersome. Not positive specifically when we bought this but I know it was several months ago. When we purchased it (not by way of newegg) the girl checking us out said it looked like the HoIy Grail (don't mind the odd text there) of mice since of the "fancy" packaging. Some folks have said they had problems updating the firmware but I had none with windows 7 64-bit. The directions are very precise and if you don't follow them perfectly you may well require to commence again, but just do what it says and you must be fine. Possibly I've been lucky with getting no concerns with my mouse soon after various months of heavy use (and being dropped on hardwood floors a couple of times thanks to my two year old), but I still don't hesitate to advocate it to people today I know.

The mouse looks rather cool. I like the matte black, and the feel of it in my hand (very ergonomic). The recharging stand is good, and in contrast to some other recharging stands I've observed, the contacts match up easily. The number one thing that bugs me about this mouse is the bottom! The bottom has an angled piece that sits very close to whatever it's on. This is difficult to clarify, but I use a mousepad underneath my mouse, and the mouse itself catches on it regularly. It sort of scrapes and pulls on the pad. It sounds like a little thing, but it's extremely annoying and frustrating when you're working on one thing that requires delicate mouse movements.I also don't care for the appear of the charging stand. The base of it is covered in BRIGHT blue LEDS which you can not turn off. Some people today are into this sort of design. I am not.Lastly, the battery genuinely doesn't last really long. I get 1 or two days out of it before it needs a recharge, and I often forget due to the fact the battery indicator appears to do a lot of animations that are not indicative of the actual charge. I bought this mouse because I've had the RAZR headset for a though and love them. This mouse just didn't appear to have the very same thought and care in the design as the headset although.I doubt I'll be acquiring any more RAZR goods. This mouse is way too costly for what it is.

Incredibly speedy tracking, good really feel in your hand, accurate. Mouse wheel has begun to squeak, left side rubber grip is peeling back, cord is extremely stiff. My greatest gripe with this mouse is that, despite advertising it can be used in wired mode, the wire is so stiff and heavy that the cord will practically drag the mouse towards the edge of my desk on its own. The mouse wheel squeaking is just irritating. For 财, I expected much more from razer. I would not recommend this mouse.

- Fantastic Tracking- Wireless, when it works- Cool package? Battery / Wireless mode has been buggy because the day I got it. I haven't updated the firmware in months just due to the fact I've been making use of it as a corded mouse (took the battery entirely out) due to the fact it was horribly unreliable in cordless mode (I literally kept one more mouse plugged in 24ǝ to grab when this one freaked out and quit working in the middle of a firefight). Now, after owning this mouse for about 8 months, the left click button is going out on it. It's also developing horizontal tracking anomalies (mouse totally freaks out for several seconds - several minutes and will only track vertically). This low level of performance and durability simply isn't what you ought to get for your funds. Manufacturer Response:These issues must not be plaguing you. Please contact the Razer Support Team at www.razersupport.com and we will be happy to support right any issues. You do want to make sure you flash the newest firmware and have the most recent drivers installed as this ought to solve any issues you may be having. Razer|Wave

Razer did a quite superior job in producing this mouse. I love everything about it! The nylon cord is definitely quite fitting and assist lessen tangles. You don't like Cords? Np. You can take this mouse to it's wireless functionality. With 5600 DPI you really can't go incorrect. Definitely puts gaming at a complete new level. I would suggest this mouse to any person. It's extremely comfy and smooth. My docking station's mini usb port was off by just a bit. I have to RMA it and get an entire new mouse. No massive Deal. Issues Happen. If you're not used to high DPI mouses, make sure that you adjust the DPI settings in the Mamba configuration window. Default is 1800 DPI.

The usual Razer on the fly DPI adjustment, sexy style, capacity to switch to corded use when the battery dies, does my laundry, tells me how awesome I am, the list goes on... Costs over 贄, doesn't blow me as good as my girlfriend. Oh, and you really Need to have to do the firmware update ASAP when you get it, otherwise you'll hate it. BTW, it's not hard to upgrade the FW if you have 1ǘ a brain and can follow directions. Immediately after update, PERFECTION! Really like this mouse, generally I couldn't care much less to review something I've owned but this thing is fantastic. I utilised to think wired mice owned wireless, until this. I do not regret the buy AT ALL. Yes, it's high-priced, will I get one more mouse? No. If this factor ever dies, I want a different, it's perfect, for example:Do you play Battlefield Bad Firm 2?Keep it on lowest DPI as you run around with your shotty + lengthy dist, then, as a free armored Bradley appears, you hop in, tap the DPI adustment to max, and BAM, you're owning wookies in their Recon kits with max sensitivity as you fire away the cannon. The mouse feels great in the hand, looks excellent, and scans great. When it works, it WORKS. My battery completely died out at 10 months, coincidentally, so did my two roommates'. They got the effortless way out, being Best Acquire workers. Tech support told me to get a new battery (I misinterpreted the mouse's 1 year warranty, this does not apply to the battery), or run the mouse in wired mode. Nicely, sorry, I bought it to have a wireless, otherwise I would have BOUGHT a wired for half the price. I'm lucky to get 30 min of use on a full night charge. Also worth mention, from the day I got it, the mouse wheel has had this awful squeaking noise that I can't appear to get rid of. I think for 财, there far better be a second battery, or it's warranty should mirror that of the mouse itself, as they are interdependent hardware. Well, interdependent if you intentionally spend 财 mainly because you want a WIRELESS mouse. Sorry, at that cost point, and this sort of problem with vital hardware, I can't recommend this product.

Bought it during the 15th anniversary sale for $30 off. It is the best Razer mouse I've ever used out of all my 6 Razer mouses. I like how it's wireless and the range of DPI you can choose. I love the lighting on the dock and the mouse, although the logo on the mouse should have lights just like the Deathadder. What I dislike is that the battery is short and the configurator takes a minute or so to load during wireless.
