Extreme gaming laptop that runs particularly hot. Bought this and it under no circumstances goes above 53C. Totally perfect for anyone with heating concerns or worries. I also really like how it tips the keyboard up a bit to you can rest much easier though typing with minimal wrist irritation. Don't put this on your lap. Heavy. As it is a sitting station, it's ok to be heavy so not genuinely a con. My 17" Toshiba is already a heavy technique. With this cooler, it's a monster!

Aluminum fascia (plastic frame underbelly), On/Off switch, ergonomic design creates a comfortable angle for typing, twin fans are so quiet that I did not think it was on until I checked for the spin! Not a complete aluminum frame...but whatever. It feels sturdy adequate. First venture into the Rosewill brand...and I am really incredibly impressed with their solutions. I purchased this while there was a cost-free Rosewill four-port USB hub, and that seems to be working with my PS3 quite properly. Kudos to newegg and Rosewill!

Sturdy aluminum construction - massive enough for 17" laptop Incredibly uncomfortable to use on lap, USB port is flimsy and broke inside a month of use. Now it's unusable. This item could be so substantially far better- by merely beefing up the USB connectors (OR adding a DC adapter so you don't have to use USB) and rolling the aluminum to make a comfy edge that doesn't dig into your legs. Also the ability to reverse the fans would make this a winner.

quiet thinking about my laptop is utilized for gaming and dl i have a ASUS g1sn x1 and this thing gets hot actually easy. this thing came in the mail and i put it to work correct then temps dropped a bunch about 30 degrees the fan doesn't even go to a 100 percent though playin left 4 dead of command and conquer 3 so i say it's a very good buy none completely worth shopping for

This cooler is SOLID..... immediately after getting flimsy plastic coolers under my 17" Toshiba and getting it slide all over the location whilst typing - I truly like the heft of this cooler. I didn't even have to use the included rubber feet to raise up the notebook as the airflow appears adequate for cooling the processors running at 90% on BOINC. The internal notebook fan shut off ten minutes soon after I put this cooler underneath the program. I travel a lot so I'll have to figure out how to transport it - possibly in checked luggage - no way will it fit in my carry-on with two notebooks......

When I'm gaming, the laptop does tend to overheat so i decided to purchase this cooler simply because of the value and i necessary 1. I own Hp Pavilion 17" Widescreen and was searching for a cooler that could supply sufficient cooling power as well as accommodate the size of my laptop. Glad to say the Rosewill accomplished both. I like the size of this specific cooler, as it fits properly with my Hp 17" Laptop. Also like the style, keeps my laptop raised to comfortable level on my desk. Use the rubber knobs that come with it as it functions very best if you maintain your laptop slightly raised off the fan base to enable for better airflow. In terms of the noise level, it appears fairly quiet to me, but if you are especially sensitive to that aspect, check the specs for decibel levels listed and compare it with others in this range to discover 1 that will accommodate your taste. My laptop stays mainly on my desk so i was not worried how the cooler would feel on my lap. If you are somebody who is seeking for a cooler that is comfortable on your lap then you may well not be too keen on the ergonomics of this cooler. The edges are a bit sharp. Great product for the funds. Performed as advertised. i am concerned about the durability, as the other cooling pads i have owned have broken down prematurely. I'm hoping the added funds i paid for this one will compensate me in durability.

I bought this for my HP 17" widescreen laptop which was running really hot - the internal fan would run practically continuously whenever I was performing a thing video intensive and the system would slow considerably.Now I've had this under my laptop for a few months, I have to say the difference is considerable. No slow-downs, the method is cool to the touch, and this cooling pad is perfectly sized for my 17" laptop. I did use the supplied stick on rubber feet to the base of my laptop, purely because it raise the laptop slightly much more than the built on feet and offers much better air circulation. The underside of the laptop is cool to the touch now all the time, whereas prior to at times it was too hot to touch, (especially exactly where my memory is installed, and by exactly where the CPU is situated.) Properly worth the money.The pad is also angled at a quite very good angle to present a much better knowledge when typing on the laptop keyboard, plus as it's raised you are protected from any coffee spillages :) None I've located. It would've been nice to have a USB port or two on here, but the omission is no massive deal - USB hubs cost extremely little.

Aluminum built, none of that inexpensive walmart plasticQuiet, USB Powered. Low cost paint, Sharp corners, this is not a cooler thats safe to carry in your bag unless you want a bag with holes in it. I purchased this with the rosewell bag, but I can't even bring it with me considering that it tears holes in my bag. So i dont suggest this cooler unless you are keeping it on a desk at household to never be moved.

Good alumnium create, its very nice and wide for wide screen laptops but if you gonna get this cooler. It fits 16" or smaller. Not advised for 17 inch as mine hangs over the edge "alienware M17" The base of the cooler is not long sufficient to fit my 17 laptop and the paint is so low cost, I have paint flaking off the edges already following a couple of hours of use. I got this cooler with the 17" bag deal hoping for a great combo and I'm very disappointed. I wouldn't advise any Rosewill goods to ANYBODY. Unless you want a huge headache.

It's almost everything I hoped it would be. Fits my widescreen laptop perfectly. It is so quiet I had to check and make confident it was truly running! I am a gamer and I no longer have concerns with my laptop slowing down due to overheating. The cooler itself does not get hot! I can really make use of the laptop -- on my lap! Fantastic investment. Doesn't have USB ports -- but who cares? Wish it came with a handle, as it does not fit in my laptop case.

sturdily built. i dont know if it was my laptop or it was the actual unit, but it produced a actually loud annoying drone from the fans... not very quiet at all. it also didnt cool anything... my temperature monitors were just as high with the cooler as they were without it. definitely not worth it - there has to be something much better. The two fans push out sufficient air to cool down the underside of a laptop. My laptop applied to run really hot and this cooler has solved the dilemma.It runs incredibly quietly and conveniently gets its power from 1 of your laptop's USB ports. Nice construction delivers a solid and stable surface on which to set your laptop.Fits perfectly below a 17" laptop.Turns off when you turn off your laptop. Not developed to be employed on 1's lap, the bottom of the cooler is uneven and has slightly sharp edges. USB cable ought to be lengthy adequate to reach any USB port on your laptop, unless they are in the front. Works perfectly with USB ports in the back of a laptop.

Does it's job, keeps laptop noticeably cooler. Got it for a basically half cost and it was worth the income. Not specifically comfortable if you use the laptop on your lap, this was more so created as a cooler to be employed on a desk or table, and it sort of pokes uncomfortably into your legs right after extended periods of time. Decent performance when it does function. Worst cooler I have ever owned. I have a 17" HP Pavilion that would run fairly hot. Though the pad did help reduce the heat of the laptop, the rubber feet included frequently came unglued inside two weeks of application and let the laptop slide about. Right after a month of owning it, it broke down completely. My last cooler lasted for over 3 years with out a hitch.Thankfully it was under warranty but they still gave me a lot of trouble with the return. Didn't even pay for shipping. Horrible consumer service. Then as soon as I got the replacement, it functioned normally until it broke down Once again. It's now out of warranty but I don't think I'd waste the บ shipping it back to them once again anyway, only to have it break down in yet another couple of months. The dilemma is generally where the power connects to the body in the back. I take extremely very good care of my electronics, and this thing is the only piece of hardware I have had trouble with in recent memory. The number of positive reviews I'm seeing here are most likely from folks who just hooked it up. The initial efficiency is decent. On the other hand I've observed in 2 out of 2 models now the identical, rapid deterioration in use. I heard from several very-tech-savvy buddies to remain away from Rosewill merchandise since of issues like this, but I didn't listen. My mistake.

I bought one of these with the usb hub for my gateway fx p-7805u two years ago and it has been keeping my lappy cool ever considering that. I told my friend about this when he bought his laptop and hes really pleased with his as well. I lately got a wonderful deal on an old m7700 and I saw the cooler was on sale and now i have two =) Really high high quality metal, really light, usb hub on my other one is super low-cost, though i in no way use it.When direct X 12 comes out I'll buy one more laptop and this cooler is going with it! Affordable Usb plastics on the model with usb hub. a little massive for 15" laptops I think
