Excellent for SATA, but use caution on low-cost CD/DVD drives ( especially if they have soft molex connectors) Wonderful for SATA as they are better keyed on the power connectors than old IDE CD/VD /w MOLEX, ( specially if they have soft plastic molex connectors)Ended up inverting the significant molex on IDE DVD drive and let the secret smoke out of the drive- Drive (Yes, NE ภ SATA replacement DVD drive to the rescue :)

Worked half the time Only worked half the time I had an adapter of a different manufacturer for awhile, it only worked half the time, so I purchased this one particular based on client reviews. It only operates half the time as well. I wish I could come across a single of these adapters that worked as advertised, this a single absolutely doesn't.
