I was looking for solid, dependable power provide at a great cost for a budget develop, and Rosewill has never ever let me down. This PSU has a good weight, very quiet, and took 5-ten mins to install. The cable netting is a definite plus. I threw this in a mid-sized box so the cables had more than enough length. Excellent buy! Very recommend it. None Specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ / two.1 GHz - 2 gigs DDR2 PC2-5300 - MSI NX8800 GTS 320 MB DDR3

The psu worked and i had it temporarily hooked up to a 9800GT and it worked flawlessly. It also allowed me to overclock fairly simply which was pretty cool for a extremely fairly priced psu. Don't let the cost fool you this is perfect for spending budget/mediocre computer builds. The cables were a mess which is why I docked a star. I had a bit of trouble which can be do to my motherboard layout as nicely, but the cpu energy connector had a four pin molex cable splitting from the identical wire( like a "Y") and the four pin molex wire was extremely sturdy/strong and it was difficult to move in a place which I was guaranteed it wouldn't hit and quit the cpu or case fan. I got it performed by pinning it down, but this is my reason for docking 1 star. If your on a budget and don't plan on acquiring gtx 280's in SLI then purchase this. It will be worth each and every buck and seemed very properly built to last you rather some time.

I've purchased a couple of power supplies from Rosewill now and I haven't had any complications. They definitely aren't leading quality but they get the job accomplished for affordable builds. The connectors are solid for this price range. It's also nice to see a low cost power provide that isn't plain gray/ Bare minimum quantity of connectors. Cable length could be a problem for some. Just remember that this won't be very good for powering anything high finish. I use these to construct budget PCs for my relatives.

AffordableQuiet High quality? Will it last? This PSU is quiet. I purchased it to replace a loud PSU in an HTPC. I was seeking for the cheapest resolution to quiet down my box. The PSU does seem nicely built but I would not think about it "hefty", not certain if that is a measure of a higher quality PSU these days. So far, I'm happy with it. It is quiet and powers my system incredibly well. Not certain what men and women are complaining about regarding the SATA/Molex plugs. The plugs seem perfectly placed and length is great. Can't comment on the fourǜ PIN plugs as my program is fairly low power and I have no elements that demand them. Overall, I would suggest the purchase.

Works good, low noise. In no way lost power or reset with three HDD, 1 ODD, video card, P4 mobo and then quad-core mobo. For 3 years. Immediately after 3 years, created high pitch whine and started dying, never ever treated it bad, was not on 24 hrs at any time. Contacted Rosewill RMA, hopefully they will hook me up. Will let Neweggers know.

Quiet, Stable, Sheathed cabling*, cost. None. I develop computers as a hobby (and to make a couple of additional bucks here and there) and I have utilized this power supply in all of my economy builds. I have not had a single challenge with this PSU. They are not overrated as some other power supplies in this cost point- plent of PSU for a mid range dual core amd processor, 3gb ram, dvd burner, ATI Radeon HD2400 graphics cards and 2 method fans. I live in an area exactly where the power fluctuates a lot- and none of my customers have had issues with these "brown outs" On the bench each one of these that I have purchased Ɣ or 5 now) has tested properly, and shown stable numbers.

Only ุ for a 400w supply with a large, temperature controled fan, how can you go wrong? We'll see how the longevity is, but so far so good. Great fit in a Gateway mid-tower. Fan moves a lot of air even on low speed. Practically silent on low speed (haven't heard it on high yet). The specifications for the wiring connectors are WAY off. I spent a considerable quantity of time generating an extention harness due to this. See below for how the specs ought to read. This is why it only got 4 eggs. This is what's Essentially on the wiring harness...1 x Primary connector ྴƲPinƛ x 12V (P4) 1 x 12V ƘPin) 2 x peripheral fast release connectorsfour x SATA1 x Floppy1 x PCI-E I believe newegg need to fix the spec sheet.

1. Inexpensiveɐ. well known brand;three. line is skinned. 1. I was not told the rating energy. Max power is useless for DIYers when they build PC. Max power is like the "digital zoom" of a DC. 2. the 24pin line is not lengthy enough for my technique. I want to know the rating power of this PS !! I suggest that all power supplys sold in America must be calculated and marked with rating power, not max energy.

Works. All the cables are labeled. Cable-wrapping looks nice. Properly packaged. Nice black color. None so far. This has really a few connectors. If you have a mid-size or smaller case, you may possibly discover some trouble in fitting in all the wires comfortably.

Nicely built, quiet is an understatement, sleeved cables a extremely nice touch, I have found a new brand of energy supply. Only two SATA connectors that are too close together, utilised a Rosewill enclosure, install the three.5" HD toward the bottom of the case, the five" OD towards at the best of the case an extender is necessary. Close to great.

Has PCI-E 6 pin energy connector. Quite quiet operation. Seems to provide sufficient power for fairly effective video card 񤀀GSO) Got a super deal on it on 1 of newegg's unique promotions. ษ shipped.Mine basically has 2 separate SATA power connectors with two connectors on each wire. Possibly an upgrade over the older units? Only 13A and 14A on the two 12 volt rails, but still probably much better than 18A on a single rail. Seems a small on the light side, but then once again for the cost, not a surprise. Got it to upgrade my wife's Emachine. Replaced the Delta unit that came with it. Also grabbed one of the 384 mb 9600 GSO's that had been a super deal. Nvidia recommends 27A on the 12V rail to run the card, so this PSU barely meets the minimum, but considering that it only runs 1 HD, 1 DVD-RW and two sitcks of ram and 64x2 5600, I believe it will be fine.

Sleeving is extremely good and the quantity of connectors is fantastic. Comes with the EPS12V connector with a PCI-E connector, dual 12 rails, comparable amperages to my 500W TT purepower. This unit gets 14AቩA, my TT gets 14AቫA. The computer this unit was attached to was finding random Blue Screens which became much more and more frequent the past couple weeks. I went to take a appear at it to see the memory was bad. So I started to run a memory tester app and it identified some errors. It happened fairly swiftly so I turned the unit off, and when I went to turn it back on a blue spark/flash emitted from the power supply. Not good. I disconnect it entirely from the case/computer and try powering it up with no load and once more, very same blue spark/flash. Giving it two stars rather of one since lemons happen. If the next one final longer this makes for an amazing inexpensive low/mid range gaming PSU.

Cheep and quiet. Only 1 lead with two 4p molex connectors. I replaced a dead PS on my OLD OLD OLD Win2k box. The floppy, CD and HD are IDE. My fault for not checking specs. I got the Kingwin SAC-05 adapters. They are 8" long and have 1 SATA power connector to two 4P molex. They work fantastic. Check specs closely.

Has a lot of connections. Cords are colorful and appear to be of reasonably high top quality. Failed immediately after two and a half years. It failed about nine months ago and I have just now had time to work on it. The failure was intermittent and caused a lot of aggravation. When it failed; fortunately, the cpu would must down the method. Do not know but it appears it did not hurt the system. I have built about 25 computers and this is only the second time I have had a power failure. This one is far worse mainly because of the intermittent failure that led me to check the cpu fan, the memory, etc. prior to I caught the PSU failure. UGH!! This one was at my daughter's so I did not make several points with my granddaughters. Have had great luck with Rosewill items but this expertise gives me pause!
