Good price tag for what you get. Dual 12+v rails with a total of 36W powers most of the high-finish single video cards. Clean installation with wrapped wires. Must last longer under light usage. This unit began failing at about 18 months of usage. It was unable to deliver a stable energy provide to the Pc which triggered frequent power-offs and reboots based on the circumstance. Unit ultimately failed immediately after about 1 week of errors. This energy provide was place by way of demanding usage practically non-quit for 18 months on a Computer running protein-folding simulations. For the price, it worked good. I replaced it with an Antec EarthWatts 500 which carries a 3 year warranty from the factory. I'd advocate that more than this even although it isn't as "flashy." The Antec gets the job performed quite well, and is far more effective.

-Sleeved cables-Low Value-Blue LED'sGood for moderate gaming builds or typical Computer's. At only 500W and slightly lacking in cables (such as only obtaining 4 SATA cables) I wouldn't suggest making use of this for a massive build with cross-fired graphics cards and multiple challenging drives.

two blue fans and black casing looks cool inside the computer.....cables kinda shines with the blue led lights....heavy datz a excellent factor...making use of Pc probe 2 check voltages-all quite stable..higher regular cables and connectors....two fans one particular sucking air from computer and other one blowing air is an awesum setup.....5eggs no cons really...only 500W is not seriously sufficient for todays monsters PCs...if u r going dual gpu setup a higher watt psu is encouraged... spec.q6600 @ 2.4ghz(can very easily overclck to 3.two with dis psuƞgb ocz ram160gb HD640GB HD3850 ovrclock @ gpu 750...memory 1000mhzasus p5q-e MOBO

It didn't take any other parts of the Computer with it. Constructed a computer system with one of these for a buddy. 3 months in her comp wouldn't turn on any longer. Guessed it was the PSU, RMA'd it to newegg which was a fairly uncomplicated method. Received back what a appeared to be a brand new sealed replacement. Nonetheless nothing from this comp.So I order a new mobo. Assemble the pc, nothing at all, no signs of life, no beeps, exact same behavior. Even though reasearching what the prob could be on the internet, I let the thing sit for a bit, probably two hours, with PSU energy turned and I hear pop and see a spark. I'm guessing the fuse on what became yet another dead Rosewill. In desperation I start out swapping parts from my other comp that i was too lazy just before to take apart. Fantastic issue i began with my 430w Antec PSU!!! Precise similar set up, not one particular element different and ran exactly like it was supposed to with a far better psu. Theres no acquiring back the three weeks of waiting for UPS to provide, then bring back my RMA and then ordering a new mobo and the stress of attempting to figure out what was incorrect with this thing, when i was on the dollars with my frist inclination. two brand new Rosewills pretty significantly eliminates the PSU as a possibility, right? Well now I know superior.Only question is do I want to devote 15.00 much more RMA and have an added junk psu lying about? I don't truly feel so.I will not make the mistake of spending much less for additional watts with a affordable brand on a psu again. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer,We are sorry for the inconvenience this could have caused you. We attempt to provide the most dependable solutions to our customers. The difficulty you are getting may possibly have been triggered by a power surge. We would be more than delighted to replace this unit for you. - Low cost- Wires come wrapped in heat shrinking material- Powers a rig with a 5770, 1tb tough drive, dvd drive, 4gb of 1600mhz ram. - Quick cables! This would have gotten a 5 star overview from me but the short cables was the deal breaker, otherwise this is a quality PSU, regardless of the brand.

Shipping was quite quick and the make high quality seemed fine. Ran effectively when it was working. I had it for a week and could not energy my computer system anymore. I would commence the laptop and the windows xp loading screen would load quite slow. The bar would lag and load xp slow then it all shut off. following attempting to figure out what the challenge was i turned it 1 as soon as much more and left a bad burning smell coming from the energy supply. The pc was flashing on and off til unplugged and it flashed on for a second and died. I would not suggest Rosewill. Invest a couple of bucks more to acquire a much more stable energy supply to save you from this pain of waiting once more. Has plenty of connectors for PCI-e and SATA. Two built-in fans to keed it cool with blue LED to match the Rosewill Destroyer case LED. Not a true 500W PSU as steady wattage is 300W and max wattage is 480W. If you are trying to built a gaming technique, upgrade to at least 750W or higher. This PSU will do for a basic systems with a decent video card.

Following a lot study I purchased this item and promptly received it. Upon installation I powered up my machine and every little thing ran with no flaw. I had noticeable gains in performance and my process ran much quieter and cooler. Immediately after about two months use, the unit just stopped functioning altogether. I have my program run by way of a surge protector and on a committed circuit from the breaker box. I have three case fans and plenty of ventilation room around the case. It just stopped functioning with no apparent result in other than factory defect. Immediately after dealing with Rosewill customer help and Newegg's amazing consumer service division, I am receiving a replacement. Hopefully all goes properly with it and it will not be a lemon like the very first. Performance sensible this is a great unit, but I have to knock it down to three eggs for failing to hold up over time.

Power, Wrapped Cables, Price tag (I paid 29 bucks a handful of months ago from Newegg). Blue fan light goes off and on at random. Sometimes as generally as just about every minute or two. Can be quite annoying. Cables are fairly stiff due to the wrap and can be hard to maneuver, specifically in a micro-atx case. All in all I'd purchase another.

incredibly elegent, superb presentation. two weeks earlier I purchased the DESTROYER case from Rosewill as effectively and I am extremely happy with both products. Even so, the 4pin connection that (I feel) is for the CPU power is an INCH or so also brief, so I have to flip the power supply over and use it upside down, which indicates not being secured into the case. given that the case is a bottom mounted PSU its ok but I had really purchased this PSU to replace a best mounted 420 watt piece of carp that I had in my old case mainly because the cords were so short I had to have my iphone box on the bottom of the case supporting the psu so that the CPU power had sufficient length to plug in and not dangle. oh properly the blue lights are wonderful and match the other lights on the case perfectly. thanks again rosewill, I will be purchasing from you in the future!

My old PSU was dying causing all sorts of issues voltage to the Prescott P4 3.4 and tricky drives was varying wildly. Replaced it with this Rosewill. Effortless to install fit right in the case no difficulties. Everything is running like new once again no voltage pulse. The blue light is a good touch. None so far For an aging Pc this is the ticket.

Utilized it for over a year. Haven't had any problems with it so far. The sleeved cables is a plus. Has decent weight to it. UV cables? Nothing as well big, just that the gold stripes on the cables type of looked odd, but apparently they glow under UV light (which I have however to test). Also, this factor puts out heat. When I switched this power provide out for a bigger 1, I noticed case temperatures were a tiny lower. For over a year, this power supply ran my E8400 overclocked to three.6ghz, my HD4850, 4 gigs of DDR2 ram, two sata challenging drives, a dvd burner, four situation fans, and dual cathodes. I'm genuinely shocked it ran all of it just fine.. minus the heat lol. It is now becoming employed in my buddy's Computer which has a Athlon XP 2900+, x1650 pro, 2 gigs of ram, 2 challenging drives, and 2 burners, and it's nonetheless going!! Excellent job Rosewill!

Built strong, two fans, nicely wrapped power cables for neatness. Slipped correct in to the situation. Not specifically the quietest PSU on the block. Only 2xPeripheral Connectors. Can't give it a 5 but given that I've only had it for about a couple of days. This PSU is replacement for my old 2xP3650 Coppermine workhorse server. Getting a 10year old Pc, all my drives SCSI and IDE, I necessary a lot more than the two power peripheral connectors this unit gives. Not Rosewill's fault for my not searching at the specs greater, but if you're employing this on old gear, look elsewhere or get yourself a bunch of splitters.
