I have had no flickering or shrinking of the display or any other complications with this adaptor. My laptop or computer resums from Hibernate and Standby accurately with this adaptor. it is great to have a great working displayport adaptor. this is Lengthy more than due!

It functions! The unit is absolutely an active adapter as I have 3 monitors and my DP-DVI monitor is running fine. All of my monitors are 1920x1080 (Dell ST2210's) and previously I was using a Sapphire DP-VGA adapter for the third. It worked but the picture was off-color (some browns and tans would look greenish and occasional color flicker that the other monitors didn't have). This fixes that situation and supplies a perfect digital image with excellent color. I did not discover any lag in the video but there is a brief pause (as with the VGA adapter) prior to the monitor turns on. As opposed to other DP-DVI adapters it does not require external power and is low-cost compared to 贄+ adapters. None...I guess the cord is a bit stiff and doesn't flex as very easily as the VGA adapter, but there aren't any true cons. Just some notes relating to compatibility:This unit is for Single Link monitors only. Single link supports resolutions up to 1920x1200. For larger resolutions you have to purchase a Dual-Link adapter which are the USB-powered 贄+ units.Also note that this adapter does not make the analog signals essential to use DVI to VGA adapters. These adapters rely on the DVI port switching into analog mode and outputting VGA signals on particular pins. This adapter does not have this functionality, if you require VGA get the DisplayPort to VGA adapter (I have the Sapphire one and it works wonderful, but note that the image high quality of DVI is much better than VGA).However, this adapter DOES function with DVI to HDMI adapters. Given that HDMI is identical to single-link DVI a straightforward DVI to HDMI cable will work with this unit to connect an HDTV or monitor. Nonetheless it is video only, there is no audio when making use of DVI signals for HDMI.

It operates. Running 5780x1080 eyefinity. Handles games, motion pictures, every little thing. Inexpensive. None. What a bargain. Spending 100 bucks on an active display port adapter was not anything I was seeking forward as well. Now you can put that 100 dollars towards nicer monitors. You cant run greater than 1900x1200x3, but honestly If you have the money to shell out for monitors that can run higher resolutions they will almost certainly come with DP outputs.

This operates for Eyefinity. That's what you're immediately after, and that's what this does. N/A This adapter, as you can see from the photo, is a greater, common USB-sized head. The back of your video card might only have the mini DisplayPort slots to plug something into. Confirm that your card came with the adapter for the regular size to the mini size (I assume that most do?).

So far so excellent with XFX 5870 driving third monitor at 1920x1200. The developing good quality seems great. As long as it keeps on working, it was a great purchase. No totally free prizes in the box. Does what it is supposed to do for a reasonable value. Recommended.

Functions and doesn't call for energy. It took a bit of force to get it to actually fit into the DisplayPort slot on my graphics card.I originally put it in and it looked like it was fully in the slot even so my pc wasn't recognizing it so I went behind my personal computer once more and forced it although holding the button the displayport down. It lastly went in and worked fine. Just be aware if you believe it doesn't perform and it's not recognizing it then it may not be entirely in.

Value - replaced (and returned) the unreasonably high-priced Accel adapter I purchased a nearby brick & mortar. Functions like a champ so far.No require for USB power hence freeing up a USB slot unlike it's overprice competitors It won't do my perform whilst I game on 3 - 24" panels in Eyefinity. Not only was the Accel way overpriced, it would drop the signal a couple of occasions a day requiring me climb under my desk and disconnect/reconnect the USB.
