I put this into a low spending budget make Pc. Gets the job completed for the value, though I wouldn't reccomend this card for top rated of the line flawless gaming but it is a excellent low spending budget decision for light-moderate gaming. Wish it had DDR3 memory, if it did this point would be excellent. Haven't tested the HDMI port so I can't say something abouy that however. It really go here a day ahead of schedule(got here in 3 days). It apparently shipped from New Jersey. Drivers installed from disk with no a dilemma. Came with normal profile bracket.

I did not want a high-finish graphics card, but I wanted a decent one particular for common residence use and some gaming. I also wanted only an AMD GPU. My previous a single was a Sapphire Radeon and I loved it, so this was a fantastic upgrade. I adore the video card. Worked straight out of the box and is running really cool. AMD's catalyst drivers are outstanding and they are updated often. Win 7 x64 and Linux x64 detect and run fine. Hooked up HDMI to my 32" LCD Tv and got a stunning display. Value is cost-effective for a spending budget upgrade, but I was shocked. HDMI, plays many of my games on higher-highest settings when coupled with a triple core CPU and runs blue ray rips from my collection gorgeously. I went from a x1950pro Radeon from 5+ years ago and I was pleasantly suprised at how substantially a lot more I am receiving for 1Ǜth of what I paid back in the day. Doesn't even need its own 4 pin connection, just plug it in and let her rip. Doesn't run also hot but it is OC off the bat, with very good cooling you can push it additional. It was shipped swiftly, works silently, updated my computer capabilities although not being heard at all. I got it for much less than โ, rebate not taken into account. I can now play HD video without having a issue. I don't know, but mine is operating at 54 °C standby with the fan showing only 20% activity... I'm not certain that's standard. Thought my computer system would get a bigger increase. Turns out my actual bottleneck is my truly old, single-core CPU.

Worked fairly properly for two.5 months. One particular day right after NO technique alterations my screen went to four color VGA and I got a message that there was a issue with my ATI driver. I have the AGP version of this card.It was the HIS and the only diff is the ram is clocked to 1300 vs 800 productive. But it was on a single core A64 agp.To the person that said his onboard video is much better. That is misleading, no onboard video comes close as I've tested themIt will play all the games SC2, BIOSHOCK two and so forth. Needed a low profile card with dual monitor support for an old small kind element IBM ThinkCentre with 225W power provide. The desktop is not compatible with HD5000 series cards, so I went with this HD4000 series card and it's operating as expected.It really looks like it must be a superior selection for an HTPC in a couple of months when the ThinkCentre is disposed of.
