Fantastic value after rebate and deal, under ฮ!ATI Radeon 4650 is a highly effective chip - even though cardmakers kill it's efficiency with low memory bandwidth!It can Detect all Three monitor connections at when (VGA, HDMI, DVI) - of course you can only allow two at a time.Ram stable at 500MHz, Slightly unstable at 550 - although 525MHz is also stable, 600MHz = require to reboot.It can run the ATI Froblins demo, the onboard HD 4200 (Overclocked to 1GHz) doesn't shade it correctly. This card does, just at a low framerate. 400MHz RAM, There is no such factor as GDDR2 just DDR2. It's not so significantly about the kind -GDDR3 and GDDR4 are DDR2 based, GDDR5 is DDR3 based... it's about bandwidth.400MHz x 128bit gets 12.8GB/s of memory bandwidth. The 4650 chip would be restricted with twice that!Fan tends to make odd buzz randomly when set to run at 100% constantly. So annoying that I set it back to Auto :( The 4650 Chip runs great Overclocked to 700MHz, one more 50MHz and it would be an IDENTICAL unit to a 4670 - which persons look at a decent spending budget chip. Here is any 4650's downfall - cardmakers want profits - there aren't any 4650 based cards that provide the essential memory bandwidth.A 4650 can pump out far more Texels than a 4830! Why is a 4650 regarded wimpy? Simply because a 4830 has 4x the memory bandwidth!!! (half of that is since of it's 256bit memory controller - the other half is all a matter of the cardmaker's selection to give it greater speed memory)So ahead of you say have wimpy 4650 cards are, recall that they would be A LOT quicker if card makers gave them more rapidly ram. There are GDDR4 4670 cards with 1100MHz ram which get 35GB/s of memory bandwidth. This card has 12!Anyway - if you put the ram at 500MHz or additional you will see a very very good improvement fromt he 400MHz default.

Good card. Anybody who buys this expecting a rebate is going to be enraged. Tracking number nfg. They do not notify you of any problems by way of email. Immediately after a ridiculous hold on the phone they give you a verbal resubmit address. Then Nothing. I've waited 2X for rebates by means of Newegg before but these guys Althon are like "insurance businesses" - expert thieves. I gave the ũ for "expedited service". They took the complete factor. Fantastic card, economical and allowed me to play games at mid settings on 1680񦲺. Also its low profile and worked great in a slim tower. Immediately after about a year the fan on the card went out and had to be replaced. The replacement lasted about 10 months before going out once more. Overall its a great budget card for a slim line pc. I have a 530s and it allows me to moderately game and watch films. It does get warm even with the fan on high, but that's due to the size of my case. It came with the bracket and almost everything essential to mount it. When it came to finding it warrantied for the dead fan Sapphire did a great job at resolving my concern swiftly and replacing it for me. I'd suggest Sapphire for that one cause.

- Cheap- Works- Quiet - Not incredibly powerful My wifes video card died and I got this as a cheap replacement card. Functions fine for something like films, world wide web, and so on. I wouldn't use it to run Crysis or anything, but for the value, you cant beat it.

Card nevertheless running fine, have it OC'd to 755릌 and has been for two months, functions seriously nicely for the price tag. Rebate was sent out 11Ǜ񳏊, it was "processed" 11ቹ񳏊, didn't get it until 12ቸ񳏊. ie, rebate was accepted a month just before I ever got it in the mail. I paid for the Ū express service. Won't be undertaking that once again (yeah, it's just Ū, but it's the principle of the matter, I know these issues take time). If you're waiting for your rebate, give it a month from when it was processed. (BTW, I did not want to dock too many stars, due to the fact this is not a card problem, it's a Sapphire rebate problem.)

When plugged, it reports the connected AV as non-HDCP compliant and supports only 2 ch HDMI audio output. This card was an amazing upgrade from my previous vga graphics card. Im playing all my games( WoW, oblivion, mw2, GTA iv, and so on) in a reasonable FPS and fair settings, some at max. For a seriously inexpensive graphics card this genuinely delivers. If you play any Computer game but have a really bad graphics card i suggest this. It helped me out alot and now i dont see me finding another card unless i get new displays and want a higher 100-300$ graphics card. I havent located any troubles so far, functions the same way when i got it.

fantastic value for the cash, simple to install, plug & play, straightforward dual-monitor setup (unlike my old card), & excellent warranty (hopefully i'll in no way need to have it) did the express mfg. rebate exactly where they maintain Ū and you get it quicker...not as quick as it utilised to be. sent & did every thing right away and nonetheless have not received rebate pretty much 2mo later. subsequent time i'll preserve the Ū and wait the additional week or two. i keep in mind a few years ago, it only took 2 weeks to get my rebates...guess not anymore. that's why i gave it 4-stars...mfg. dragging their feet on the rebate. oh, and the other mounting plate it comes with for common cases...it's not hard to install like every person says. all you need to have is a philips & a nutdriver...takes a minute to do. identical nutdriver fixes any loose mounts on the back of the case, too. i had a loose printer port mount i tightened though i was back there.

Worked fine as long as it did... Following about 6 months, the display started going off sporadically. Investigation revealed that the card was receiving too hot. Further investigation revealed that the fan does not always turn on when the system is powered up! At this time, if you manually turn the fan, then it starts operating. Now, each time I begin the method, I have open the side panel, give the fan a push, and close the panel! Really disappointed that they use such poor top quality fans! I will obtain yet another Radeon 4650 based board, but not this model!

Cards works just fine. It has been over 10 weeks, and the rebate has not been sent. The rebate center says that Sapphire is incredibly slow in submitting rebates to the credit card center and it generally takes 13+ weeks to get the rebate. Why are they saying 8-10 weeks?

Worked fine as long as it did... Remain away from this card. The fan is bad. It does not commence after the method is rebooted (switch off and switch on). As a result, the card gets really hot and display goes off. I have to manually rotate the fan to get it going immediately after each and every reboot. Not worth!

I produced the mistake of purchasing a low profile machine (Dell Inspiron 530s), so I was limited on video card alternatives, but guess what -- this works perfectly. Gaming graphics rated at 6.4 with Windows 7 32bit. None. World of Warcraft runs at 30fps or far better on mid-high settings with a 1440x900 resolution. none I ordered this card in November for my son's pc. I filed the paperwork for the rebate inside a week and because then I not not gotten my rebate card. The rebate website states that my rebate documents are there and in their hands because Nov 2010 but no cash. This is criminal and false advertizing on Newegg and Sapphire's behalf. The card I received doesn't have the nice photo of the girl on it. It is a plain black heatsink with a tiny fan.

Comparatively quiet, comes with all the necessary hardware to switch from low profile to normal height slot. Purchased for HTPC setup. Compatibility concern with Windows Media Player and Media Center. Playing DVD's or anything that utilised the Microsoft MPEG decoder outcomes in a blank/black screen with audio. Tried several Catalyst video drivers with and with out Avivo. Onboard video and NVidia Geforce 220 card worked just fine without having issues. Was running Windows 7 32-bit with all updates.
