Runs COD:BO beautifully at 1920x1080 and all settings to the max, compared to the miniature HD5670 I had on just before this is a great video card and I'm not disappointed in dishing out just about 跌 to get it only 3 months following finding the HD5670 Size but I knew that so not a con, I have the Antec Nine Hundred midsize tower, just had to re-seat my challenging drives to the bottom cage and there was adequate space. Going to try Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2 as with my previous card I had to retain all settings at the lowest to play it.

This card is a beast!!! Purchase this card. Unlock it to 6970 bios. Play tough. I like this card so significantly immediately after owning it for more than a month I ordered one more to run in crossfire. None. Obtain it! Buy 2! I am running 3 24" monitors at the moment on 1 HD6950 all games on max settings with no issues.

Great CARD! Functions wonderful, Super quickly, Quiet, Cool temps (for the speed) High quality supplies and build. Also it looks sharp. No Probs four me Cant think of any I got two of these negative boys and I'm loving it. This is my 1st sapphire card and I should say they make a nicely built card. The factor is solid. Just so you know these cards are massive and heavy so mid tower and larger is ideal. Thanks Newegg You Rock

This card will run anything I have on complete settings. BFBC2, Cyrsis 2, MW2. It's good, no lag triggered by the card at all. Running Fraps and never dips below 60 for the duration of gameplay. Build this computer and specifically chose this card to prepare for BF3. You can unlock it to the base specs of a HD 6970. Awesome bang for your buck, obtain this card and you won't be disappointed! It gets a tiny hot but you can open up ATI Catalyst and manually manage the fan. I set it to 50% throughout gameplay and It won't get past 70 C. None other. Wow. This has never ever lagged on me, even with the newest games on the highest settings. If you have the budget for it, let me tell you that it is worth each penny! The envy of all these about me when I tell them what my video card is. Now, that's not really a con, is it? Like I said, if you can afford it, buy it!

2GB of 256bit GDDR5 will give you everything you will need for high-end gaming. This puppy is rapid and trustworthy, and runs quite cool. 30c at idle and about 45-50c on maxed out settings in the course of load. Large improvement more than my old 8800GTX which was nevertheless smashing faces till I purchased this card. Not a con for me, but anything people ought to be wary of. This card is Huge Huge Massive. Its about 14 inches extended and im certain that it won't fit into most mid-towers out there. Value/performance ratio is awesome when compared to Nvidia cards- chewed by means of all the games I threw at on max. High quality style directs airflow out the back of the card instead of blowing it into the case. Large, but that comes with the territory on top-tier cards This card is huge. I built on a mATX board, and I wouldn't do it once more with this card. I had to cut by way of portion of my case to get it to fit. If you're going with this great card, obtain a complete-size ATX case and motherboard.

Seems like a actually very good price for what you get. two gig ram crashed process every 10 to 15 minutes and also following a crash i would shed sound and have to restart to get it back Was upgrading from a 4870 1 gig crossfired cards. Same manufacture. My 4870's run fine. Installed the 6950 and about each and every 10 to 15 minutes began crashing. Now 2 years ago i may well of troubleshooted for days but i would have figured it out now im not in the mood to do it. If i purchase a video card i want to install it and have it function not crash all the occasions. cant tell you if it was card or drivers but exact same drivers perform on my 4870 with no issue

Coming from a hd4870 the improvement has been huge, as I was hoping for. Runs fairly a lot anything i have thrown at it. Unlocked shaders suitable away and with regular Volts I'm able to oc to 880 very stable in game. Can essentially close a 3dmark11 at 900. With 1.175 voltage I'm in a position to do it at 940 even if for games it's stable at 920. Good card, another hit from amd/ati just like a 4870 3 years ago. I hope this card will final that lengthy as well. Absolute none for the moment. Mmm, well possibly some new driver release would be a lot appreciate, and complete compatibility with oc programs, trixx included, that can modify voltage and truly applying it and reading it appropriately. When I bought it i had a 15$ rebate that i claimed, but it appears it will take loooong time to get right here if it will ever arrive. To qualify for that i had to send the bar-code on the box so i hope I'll in no way require to rma it trigger they may possibly not accept it like that even if registered with the sapphire pick club(gold). The card is a lot cooler ࿈ idle) and less nosier than a 4870 and draws way less power. Performances are much more than double. Maybe 1 day, when I'll be confident that no damage will be completed to the memories and I will will need it I'll fully mod it to 6970.

The card works good, install in my pc and downloaded the lates drivers. No troubles with drivers works excellent. I was an nvidia user and decided to go for a transform by buying my initially AMD video card and I'm glad I did. You can't go incorrect with this card. This card also runs cool and quiet can barely hear it. None, perhaps the length of the card may possibly be a an problem for some. This card is practically 11'' long. I was afraid to purchase amd product due to the comments about drivers troubles with amd cards, but reading via the commets realized that the drivers for this new line up of 6900's was improving so I decided to give them a attempt. No complications, functions excellent. If you are thinking about getting this card just get it.

Not a lot to say except it functions as advertised, it is rapidly, and I don't actually want to mess with overclock or unlock mainly because it is just way quickly already. operating all games on highest settings at 1920x1080. Unbelievable efficiency. Look me up on Steam - Shapps000. Currently playing BlackOps, Crysis2, and a lot much more....

This point is a beast! Overall performance wise and physically, dwarfs my old 5770 in size, weight, and power. Have only had for about a week now but large distinction more than my final GPU - surely pleased with acquire. Quite heavy, only assistance comes from the backplate screws which is kinda scary - one wrong bump and this card could simply rip out your PCI-E connection so be careful.

rapid, and quiet; the sapphire fan controller does a excellent job of keeping the card quiet the sapphire fan controller does a good job of keeping the card quiet - see other thoughts... now I want two in a Cross fire... speed is addictive... I am utilizing an amd 955be, 4GB ddr2 ram 1066 55518... on an asus m3a32right after two months of use, the 'unlock' is only a 'feature' that isn't truly required... I am thinking now that I will get second card and run Crossfire as 6950's and get pleasure from silence...Due to the gpu's BIOS fan controller that is tuned for silence IMHO; when unlocked to 6957񣖺) mode, I solved it by employing the included utility "TRIXX" (awesome fan controller BTW), setting the TRIXX fan set points to 30% at 60c, 40% at 70c, and 80% at 80c solves the challenge.disclaimer: the unlock voids the warranty, simply because the temps can turn into can problem; due to the reality is a 6950 not a 6970)nicely, when run as a 6950 it appears faster in GTA IV when in the 6957 mode...

Wonderful!!! Quickly, somewhat quiet, eats games for breakfast and asks for much more!I was going to unlock the added shaders (I've been reading that flashing the complete 6970 bios can trigger instability) immediately immediately after acquiring this, but then I truly utilized it.... and yeah, I'll sooner or later do that, but there's *no require* right now!! The card's effective sufficient without having that! Some folks complain about fan noise. I dunno, I've got an Antec case with 4 120mm fans and 1 200mm fan. None of it appears really loud to me, and the 6950's fan doesn't seem to add much to it either. I suppose it's just a matter of what you're utilised to. Ummm.... it's massive? But that's not genuinely a con if you have a larger case. It's expensive? Yes, but when you play [insert game right here] on max settings with it, you will know where that additional funds went! Acquire it. I'd say obtain two, but.... why?? Extremely strong video card. Have the solution to unlock and overclock to keep up with future content. Card is solidly made. You'll really feel like you got your moneys worth when you really feel the weight of this card. Priced greater than i wanted to spend on a video card, but i'm low cost.... Upgraded from an Nvidia 8400GS, so of course my new HD 6950 was a huge upgrade. I only play 1 Pc game, EQ, which is pretty old, so this card was in all probability more than kill for it. But no I can 2 or three box, run iTunes and have a couple of IE browsers running and switch between them with no issues now.

Had some difficulties reading the text in the itunes store. Fixed that challenge by unchecking the morphological anti aliasing box in the Catalyst Manage Center. Read that having that checked causes complications in Java apps.
