Great card. Upgraded from 4870. Unlocks and runs as 6970. This card is huge and had to cut away component of HD bay. No large deal but be prepared for a slight mod if You have a mid tower case.

This card can run any game maxed out suitable now. It runs cool most of the time even though I have it 24ǝ on a 1000񳅨 overclock. Temperatures have not exceeded 60 degrees in any game. This small bit could be a pro/con depending on what you will get in the lengthy run:This card IS slower than the competing 570 gtx, but it IS much less expensive as well.On the other hand, when you crossfire/SLI the two cards and compare them, 6950 will defeat the 570 due to superior scaling. So if you intend to crossfire, this is the one to get. I had artifacting issues with unlock shaders only, and it is bound to take place to some, because it wasn't sold/advertised to be unlocked.

Comment:
I purchased this card so I could put it to perform on my new games Crysis two, Rift, and Fallout 3. All I can say is... wow. Everything runs at max frame rate in those three games, with the Catalyst settings maxed out, as effectively as in game settings and view distance. Works like a dream, and is particularly quiet!!The energy supply ports are on best of the card, rather than the side, which is very helpful when plugging it in. Nothing at all so far. The card however is gigantic. Strategy on about 11'' of space in your Computer for this beast. DX11 is so remarkable on this, it even makes WoW look great haha. Cant wait for Crysis 2 DX11 patch to come out, so this card can truly have to start off putting forth an effort to make games appear so superior.

Quiet, cool, a lot more stable then soc gtx 560ti for me anyways. I purchased a gigabyte gtx 560ti soc edition and had absolutely nothing but difficulties with it. Nevertheless I rma'd that card and went back to my roots in ati/amd. Glad I did to this card is rock solid and incredibly effective. It has additional future proofing for me over my ati 5850. no cons per say but like every person else has said the card is massive. I had to take out my middle casing for an added fan in my antec 902 case. No biggy although.

Bought it the day it came out for 300 bucks and thought it was a great deal as the cost keeps dropping it just keeps becoming a Much better deal!!! Blows away any game at 1080p as long as your cpu doesnt bottle neck your method. stays relativly quiet and cool if you produce your own fan profileoverclocks like a champ, this card (not unlocked) with a AMD 955 x4 give a P5000+ on 3dmark 11 if you know how to overclock nicely.overall a good acquire for any person who desires to max games even though not breaking their bank can be loud (if you want a quiet technique get a diverse cooler)very long make certain your case can fit the card.drivers at 1st had been horrible, but they are far better now, and improvements keep coming. I personally don't have the cards set up in crossfire, but from what I read they seem to be > 580 performance wise.

Comment:
This card is super duper awesome, I upgraded from a nonetheless worthy 5750 and wasn't certain what to expect.. The price (for me) was the most I've spent on a graphics card to date and I was scared it wouldn't "feel" worth it's cost.. Nicely I was wrong, this card blows away anything like absolutely nothing.. Crysis maxed out with natural mod and settings tweaks yields a 30-50 FPS, and with the fan set to a modest 40-50% heat isn't an problem, I locate mine throughout gaming sessions peaking and idling about 65-70c, which is wonderful because this product is rated to handle 90+ temps. On idle and fundamental laptop or computer operation I set the fan speed to 33% (The sweet spot for mine / my rig). Doing so for me makes the fan un-noticable beside the rest of my 120mm fans, which are whisper quiet actually.. It's actually so quiet durring basic operation my HDD was the loudest thing in my case, so I installed some foam and suspended the tough-drive employing string.. My case is now quieter then most peoples netbooks... Bios switch.. Cons.. Hmm, a lot of folks put "size' here but the dimensions are included so it shouldn't be a con.. You know what you are finding into if you have half a brain.. Ha.Honestly although, the cheapo CGI chicks are dated, by a decade.. It's not cool, or cutting edge anymore, they are also not precisely attractive at all.. Could you begin putting actual art / game art / designs/patterns or just keep them simple? CGI chicks are tacky.. CAN'T USE EYEFINITY OUT OF THE BOX AS IN...WHY NOT? Okay I realize for my 5750, low end.. Okay. But I just purchased of the greatest AMD GPU's on the marketplace.Cool you gave my HDMI, you gave me a Xfire cable, as you Must. (Thanks for that a lot) But the useless Display Port factor you included does Absolutely nothing for 99% of the individuals who are obtaining this.Just contain the right adapter that your shoppers need to have to use this product for what's it mostly advertised for becoming able to do.. How about that? Entirely unrealistic request I know.. -1 egg. This card is heavy so do be sure to tighten the screws as much as possible and be cautious when moving the case.I mean, don't worry too significantly just don't be an idiot.OH, it came with a nice case badge. /me ideas hat Soon after marketplace cooling? I've noticed a couple of solutions so far but I will decide this summer if it's even required.. I doubt it.Unlicking to a 6970 created BC2 unstable for me, started to get artifacts and then my PC would freeze.. But thankfully AMD is cool and included a failsafe bios switch so it's no huge concern. I might just unlock the shaders later and see if it's superior, just note I only do this portion for enjoyable.. There is no game that exists that this game can't max out with lovely frame-rates, the most taxing games I've found so far would clearly be Crysis with mods.. As I stated that was no issue.. So yea, any games produced to date are a laugh..Excellent for men and women who can't or don't want to crossfire given that it's 2gb. Also 2gb is fantastic in open globe games..Obtain this

Friggin deadly card! Upgraded from sapphire 3870 512 gddr4 crossfire and this factor is running every little thing with all the settings in the game and amd catalyst maxed out. Def worth its price. If you're thinking about finding this card just go for it. If you come across its lacking at all, flash it, its a incredibly simple procedure to do. Unleash the beast! None that i've come across yet. This card works like a dream. Some people had to make adjustments to get it to fit in the coolermaster storm scout case. Luckily with my MSI 890FXA-GD70 the initially PCI E 2. slot essentially ran just above the hd cage letting this card sit suitable in with no troubles. Pairing this up with 16 gbs g skill ripjaw ddr3 1600 ram and the AMD hexacore two.8ghz oc'd to 3.4ghz this setup crushes anything i've thrown at it but.

Long time AMD user, had no troubles what so ever with card or drivers, every thing installed with ease. Runs games with everything maxed out except for AA. To get playable frame rates i have to set AAx2 or AAx4.Upgraded from a 1850XT which is a enormous step up. Love this card. Card runs hot. Stock, it runs 35ºC idle and 91ºC under full load. Appears with CCC it doesnt permit fan to spin above 30%. Picked up MSI Afterburner and it created all the difference in the world. Temps dropped to 29ºC idle and 55ºC under full load after numerous hours of intense gaming.

thanks everybody who posted comments on this card.. i purchased it mainly because of y'all comments and following alot of research. I actually like this card! new drivers from AMD worked fine. the card created my BFBC2 run considerably far better with all settings on high on my 1680X1050 22" monitor. WoW with everything on ultra runs great also, cuz of vertical sink the speed sit at 60 FPS and stays around there. GTA IV didnt definitely run any much better from my HD4890 but you just need to have to turn down distance detail a bit to get the FPS to be smoother. Length: it was an inch longer than my ASUS 4890 and did have to move a harddrive to help it fit.. but i basically looks fine in my gigabyte case.fan: fan control system not clever sufficient to detect temp levels... Ive been manually controlling it catalyst CC cuz it wont truly kick on otherwise.. when i tab out of games the card at like 76degrees C and thought.. nicely.. ill turn fan speed up to 59% and see if that assists. totally worked good and stays way cool. no eggs off cuz i say the previous evaluations on that. the card overall is quieter than my ASUS 4890... go figure.no rebate included: didnt see a rebate card or info in the packaging at all... whatever :-) its not like we are actually acquiring the rebate proper. when BF3 comes out im going to by a second 1 and crossfire. also I went to blahblahblah and purchased mini displayport to dvi cables for uber inexpensive.. very suggest that web site.thanks you newegg.. you got my card here secure and quickly!

Quite a few!*This card conforms to the Radeon HD69xx series spec, meaning that it has all of the capabilities of the reference cards (DX11 support, failsafe BIOS, and so on.)Ʀ GB video memory*Powerful 45nm GPU*nVidia is a bully in the video industry (throwing their weight about against internet sites who modify their drivers [ex. Guru3d.com] and pushing proprietary protocols and technologies like CUDA and Physx), I continue to be quite pleased saving my dollars and finding wonderful (and in a number of places, far better-than-nVidia) performance from ATi/AMD cards!*Great performance - something I throw at this, at full performance, it'll chew up and spit out!*Drivers have given me ZERO issues in Windows 7 (x64)Very pleased with this card! Really few!If I was to genuinely isolate some thing, I guess I could pick out that I don't like how it's roughly 10.5 inches in length and takes up 2 slots. But on that same token, any high-end card will share roughly the identical form factor, so I'd definitely have to be ignorant to call this a "con"!Acquire this card - you won't be sorry! - none, broken out of the box - brand new card, broken out of the box, suffers from video glitching at BIOS screen (tested in many PC's)- considering that it was a gift, didn't open until after 15 days swap period, so have to RMA with "Althon Inc." which is Canadian representative for Sapphire. Brand new card has been sent out 33 days ago, nonetheless waiting. - DO NOT Buy Sapphire unless it's ์ cheaper than every thing else, as your card will depreciate by that a lot if you need to have to get your card repaired by them. - unfortunate that men and women are able to overclock this card with a mod, but I couldn't even use it out of the box

LUDICROUS speeds. I get 240 fps continuous in Team Fortress 2. By no means drops below 60 fps with all settings maxed in Bad Organization two. Each and every single game I've thrown at this factor has run perfectly. I had to RMA my original acquire of this card. Beginning from POST the fan went to 100% speed and never ever changed, resulting in the aural equivalent of a jet engine in my bedroom. I am honestly surprised the neighbors didn't complain about the noise. When I first turned it on, I quickly produced right with my higher power because I believed I was going to die. I thought it was going to explode and I'd take some shrapnel in the head and bleed out all over my carpet and cat. That didn't occur. But the noise was unbearable so I sent it back for an exchange. The replacement card has run flawlessly, and, in contrast with some other critiques I've read, is surprisingly quiet. Perhaps it's simply because my prior encounter left me with a couple of shattered ear drums and lowered expectations. But I hope that's not the case! Mine was possibly an isolated case, but I advise acquiring this in a combo deal with earplugs if it is obtainable.

Maxed out everything. Without even overclocking I was able to run Crysis Warhead averaging 45fps. This card killed Dragon Age 2. In combat I would get 150fps at max and stay about 90+ fps. All this on DX11 1920x1080 monitor. I don't know how I'll be able to fit an additional one for crossfire. Too significantly wires in my case and this card is major.(Just nitpicking although) If your looking for good performance on a 1080p monitor this is a solid card.

L4D2 similar settings 140fps! it gets HOT, Really HOT! max settings on Crysis for 5 hours caused overheating problems... I think can be resolved with a new case. or reflashing the bios back to 6950 settings.

Rapidly, unlocks shaders (wouldn't recommend straight bios flash although)Lots of stuff in the box! No voltage control, only does 40mhz above stock. The TriXX utility is pretty significantly useless without having the voltage control. Unlock it, give it a mild overclock if you want, and don't expect much more. Not to say this is a bad card, but for a brand name I would anticipate some capabilities like volt modding. I was a bit letdown to uncover out this particular is NOT on the list of volt mod support on their internet site.
