Does not work with Windows 7
Comment:
This product does not work with Windows 7. Downloading the latest driver from Sabrent did not help. Sabrent tech support could not get it to work. I bought a differant brand and it worked.

Works
Comment:
Installed on the kids PC. So far works great. Easy to install Software is not for the novice user. PC is on the second floor and gets an excellent connection with a refurbished Linksys WRT160N router that I also bought on Tiger. Total package for about $75. Can't beat it.

well...
Comment:
i read positive results. but this thing barely can pick up anything. i seemed good... but well, on the lower floor of my house, it has dificulty connecting which must be no more than 40 feet from the router diagonally. I would try something else guys.

Hard to use
Comment:
We Installed it in a system running XP pro. Everytime we log on, we have to reenter the WPA2-PSK key. We have seen more dropped connections with this setup than we have with our laptops.

Could not get to work with D-Link or Linksys
Comment:
I could not get this to work with either a D-Link or Linksys router so returned. Replaced with a Linksys 802.11n PCI card and had no problems setting up and getting the Linksys card to work with a Linksys 802.11n router.

Don't buy this for N band
Comment:
Summary - strongly consider why you are buying this - slightly difficult to install, seems to work OK for G band only if close, can not make N work at all. Spent the better part of a whole day installing and playing with this product and can not make it work with N band. It did pick up a G band signal but my 3 year old laptop did better picking up the same signal from the same location (so much for the extra antennas). At least half the time the software says the PCI card is not installed and will not connect. You can get it back but this product is for a relative who doesn't know how to fuss with software. The manual is poor at best with poor instructions and troubleshooting and no obvious way to get help. It's branded from one company but the manual and interface are from another. My advice is to stay away unless you need the cheapest possible G band PCI card for a desktop that is very close to your router. It will be uninstalled.

It's working on 2.4GHz
Comment:
Doesn't connect at 5GHz but is running 802.11n pretty well on 2.4GHz. I'm getting 65MBps on an XP Home machine. Can't get 300MBps on 2.4GHz because the 2.4GHz band must be limited to 130MBps to remain compatible with legacy 802.11g devices on my network.

IF IT WORKED!
Comment:
I have tried everything I can think of to get this thing to work. I've installed and uninstalled it more than I care to think about. It may have been a good product, but I will never know. Going to send it back and get something that WILL work.

you like to tinker?
Comment:
My house isnt huge average ranch house. router is in the middle cpus at each end. this card is the most touchy thing if everything is just right I can get 97 out of 100 signal if I put my foot close to the cpu I lose signal I dont get it. it's a good card for the most part works great on my triple boot system ubunt vist w7. don't have much use for vist anymore. w7 is better in every way. I'm told by others that if the signal is patchy the antennas can be replaced because their extra low end, GREAT VALUE WORKS WITH WIN7 OUT OF THE BOX
