I bought this unit to transfer pictures to a netbook from two different cameras while on vacation. Works great. The small size is good for traveling.

This product feels like it should come in a box of Cracker Jacks, but.......it does exactly as advertised, and does what I needed. Wrap it up in something to protect it, you'll probably need it again. DW

I Used this device with my laptop it is small compact perfect for travel! it work with all the memory cards from several camera in my travel group! I had no problem working with windows and linux systems. I almost thought it was too small at first, and that it would not stand up to hard travel, but I was surprised!

This unit is a piece of crap, and at $10 - is not worth shipping back for a replacement... It will not write to any card I tried, it just repeatedly says that the media is write protected... Don't waste your money on it.

Waste of money and extremely frustrating. Device was recognized by Windows, but this card reader recognized absolutely no flash cards of mine. Spend a few dollars more to get something that will work when it arrives.

Do not waste your money on this piece of Garbage. It corrupted my system, disabling all my other USB devices and still did not work. System recognizes device and installed its drivers which disabled all other USB devices. It then showed as removable drive but did not read ANY media cards. Including 6 cards I already owned and the BRAND NEW one I just bought. After having to have someone go in and repair all the problems it caused I ended up going to store and getting a reader that worked. All cards were then read with no problem. This is the Second Sab ient product that I have had problems with. Thier Quality is in the toilet as far as I am concerned. I I just threw it out I was so disgusted. Buyer Beware sometimes cheap is NOT worth it.

excellent for the money. If you use a micro xd card, you cannot use the adapter; must use the very small card in the reader by itself. this might be a problem for those with poor dexterity. Otherwise a good buy. I would recommend it

It just sits there on top of my workstation waitning for me to place an sd in it. And when I do it works. 'Nuff' said!

I use it on Windows 2000 Pro and found that I would start getting device removal errors popping up now and then, So I unplug it when not in use. This is a drag. Maybe it's the plug? Someone else said they had to change the plug on it. Don't know for sure? It seems to work on my Windows XP machine all right. Frankly there are other Flash drives that seem to work better. The plus with this one is its extremely small size and versatility and price.

I purchased (5) of these and they were all scratched like they were already used and returned. None of my PCs would detect the card reader. Returned all (5) of them ... I would suggest Cables Unlimited card reader.

Plug & play on XP system. Was a little surprised that each size card socket registered as a separate drive letter. A carry case to fit the device would be nice. But it works great, a lot easier to pull the memory card out of the camera & use this card reader than trying to get my camera to download directly to computer. And it works with a different card from my Mom's camera.

It is very small but carry the backup and recovery work smoothly; help me streamline the process of transfering files from different SD cards.

Works ok with XP Pro SP3 including SDHC cards. Had to use different cable -- none of the 6 computers I tried would recognize it using the supplied cable. Also, it is NOT Vista Business compatible -- Dell Precision T5400 wouldn't recognize any type of media I inserted into the reader. I probably should have spent a little more $$$ for better quality and fewer glitches.

I found that the directions were not too clear on which card went into which slot. After plugging the reader in it did take some time for the computer to recognize the reader and also "find" the card. Now after using it for a while I am beginning to plug cards in without having to experiment.

This a great little card reader. It is small enough to take anywhere, and works great. You can't beat the price. I bought two. One for myself and one for my son. I bought them because our computors would not read the new HCSD cards. It's alot easier to get one of these than to buy new internal card readers.

This does what I need it ti do, although the connection between the cable and the drive is loose. It has to be just so, and not jostled during use. Great for the occasional light user, which I am, but for heavy duty work something else would likely serve better.
