Sabrent All-in-One USB 2.0 External Flash Memory Card Reader-Writer Combo

I do like this card reader alot, however when it arrived the CF memory port had 3 bent pins and one was sticking out about 1/8 of an inch higher than the other. With a little bit of fixing it works fine. I like it because it does CF and HC SD and the price was very good. Considering the price I really don't mind much that it had a defect. I have recommended to others I think at least 3 other people have bought this item.

This drive works, is a very good price, and can read many different types of cards. My only complaint is it is very slow.

Much faster than I expected. Feels a bit breakable, but works great.

Just the thing to hit the spot - supports all the flash formats, works great. The casing seems a little flimsy, and sometimes takes a few tries to insert the SD card, but otherwise works great.

Seriously it does exactly what its supposed to do. No need to spend a fist full of dough to get your machine to read SD and other cards.

I recieved product promptly and used it the first day. It worked great and was easy to use. I've used it several times since with the same results.

Perfect! write time for 1 50 mb .mov High def video file was 5 seconds. CF also speedy XD is as fast as SD. Works well in XP MCE. SDHC works well also. Great value and great performance

I bought one of these recently for use with my Nikon D50 and Sandisk Ultra 3 memory card. I had a hard time getting the USB cable to fit the reader, then it took almost 5 minutes to download 2 pictures and then gave me an error saying that my memory card was corrupted and the data (135 jpgs and 135 NEF files) was lost. Desperate, I tried downloading direct from the camera, I found the data was intact and the ENTIRE download was complete in 10 minutes. This device clearly doesn't not excel in all applications, and for me was a complete waste of time and money.

I received mine a few weeks ago and have been unable to read any of the cards I have tried (SD) on three different computers and two different operating systems. Since this card reader does not work, I have to carry my other one back and forth to work.

What a piece of junk the Sabrent Flash Memory Card Reader is. I had over 800 pictures on my XD card and insterted it into the usb drive to see all 800 pictures then a windows error message stating that the drive had an error reading the card and the next thing I know I only have 10 pictures left on the card. I lost my whole two vacation photos!!! I did not have a backup of these as that's what I was trying to create and why I used the Sabrent Flash Memory Card Reader. What a piece of junk the Sabrent Flash Memory Card Reader is. I am sooo pissed.

I received my reader about 10 days ago. It was so small, I didn't think it would be able to do it's job. ''Suprise!'' it did and it kept on doing it. I am very pleased with my Sabrent Flash Memory Card Reader. The price of $9.99 was a great suprise for me. I will be back.

What is pictured and described is not what I got. I received a total piece of ****. Thankfully, though, TigerDirect was great in allowing me to return it. They even paid for the return shipping since I was sent the wrong item. Kudos to TigerDirect for great customer service.

Can't be beat for the price. Complete plug'n'play feature great not having to fool around with downloading drivers, etc. Only problem is which unmarked slot a particular card goes into.

Does not do SDHC cards.. REPEAT.. Does NOT do HC SD cards. This means the newer high capacity SD style cards are not supported. ARRGGHH!

No issues. The unit worked first time without any input from me. I was able to read and write to my card with no problems. Works fine with Laptop or Desktop. I use it to write to cards to use in an older Kodak Photo Frame. Very pleased.

The only problem I've had with the unit is getting CF cards into the slot properly. Once in, they work flawlessly.

Have had this model for several years and it works flawlessly. Doesn't read the new SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo Ultra II card. Checking to confirm with Sabrent if new model M501-1194 works with the SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo Ultra II card. It's a great device for the price. Just plug it in and it works. Mind you we are diligent to use the Safely Unplug feature first before removing the reader. As soon as Sabrent confirms that the Ultra II will be read, I'm ordering a new one.

gave me an error when first plugged into my laptop. the unit exceeded the maximum power limits for the port and the installation halted. tried the unit on my home system and it worked without incedent. very fast!!!

Don't ever buy one of these! when my product arrived it came in two pieces. It was missing the screws that hold it together. I tried to get a return or even the screws so I could put it together. tried contacting the company several times. finally contacted the B.B.B. with no success.( was told to take the matter to court to sue the company. I will never buy a Sabrent product again)

When I view pictures from my SM card using this card reader they appear distorted and discolored. I tried 5 different computers and had the same problem on all of them.

It doesn't work. I tried on 3 PCs and doesn't work on any of them. It even crash one PC. I have to reset it.

Hi, guys, are you sure you use windows ''safty unplug'' function? If you don't before you unplug, you will see the problem listed above.

Not Great, but not bad. Seems to work fine. no manual on what card goes where, guessing is good. don't like the hard plastic. dropped on hard floor and broke corner off, glued back on and works fine. ___________ comment on others that don't. perhaps it's your system, not the device.
