This SSD as great when used as a boot drive for my rig, and it boots really fast with Win8. Boots into win8 in less than 5 seconds is what I am getting everyday since the upgrade.This is a great deal, its not only cheap compared to the last years prices, but this is also one of the fastest SSD out there |

Cons:Ssd's are a completley useless upgrade for a ps3, or atleast this one is.
Pros:I really like the colour, it's very sharp. It's samsung, so how could it be bad. Comment:
I got this for 100$ and I figured I may as well get it at that price, hell I could throw it in my ps3 and remove all loading times one my installed games...that didn't work, maybe it will decrease texture pop up in games that call data from the hard drive, I suppose it does that, but almost worthless in a ps3 and I am sure that it's not the drives fault but the PS3's. I'm going to keep it in the ps3 just because I don't need it in my PC but I was kind of disappointed. I might buy this again for a pc, not a personal build but for some one else who wants a boot ssd I'm sure this would be just fine. |

I got this drive with NCIX's gifts ($25, Assassin's Creed 4, Far Cry 3) and was well worth the $160.I'm using it for my OS and heavy applications and it's lightning fast.The only 'issue' I had was that I couldn't fit it to my computer's case (P180) so I just duct taped it the case's floor :) |

I've used OCZ Vertex, Vertex 2, Vertex 3 and Vertex4. Also Mushkin Chrono and Crucial M4 C400. I can say these are the fastest SSD I've ever used. It was noticeable in startup and during loading programs. Very impress, if Samsung keeps up the performance and keeps reducing the price, I may switch all 6 pc/laptops I have at home to their SSD. |
I don't know whats is an HDD anymore is, so irrelevant to my gaming rig.... SSDs are Nice n small n compact and boosts ur frame rates in gaming as well, hugely... I Will never ever buy an HDD again. Only Velociraptors & SSDs are permitted in my gaming rig from here on in....
