So far all the games I've played on it have run at max graphics without having problems (though I haven't played games like crysis). Installed smoothly, fantastic photographs. It's large. Make sure it fits in your situation (it fit fine in my NZXT Apollo).

1) Slightly to Moderately-slightly far better performance than a 5770 @ 1920 x 1200 resolution2) Cooler operating temperatures ࿂ቿ C idle and 60 C load) than comparable offerings3) DX11 assistance4) HDMI out, two DVI outs, and a DisplayPort outfive) Utilizes less power than the HD4890 1) Expense: It's a excellent โ much more than the closest card, the HD4890two) Length: It's 11.5 inches extended. I had to eliminate a tough drive bay to accommodate the card.three) No display cables included. Just the bare minimums: 4-pin molex-to-6-pin PCI-E cables x two and a drivers CD. Purchased it replace my aging 8800GT and to primarily play games at 1920 x 1200. It can play CoD4 and 6 just fine at that resolution as effectively as newer games such as BF:BC2.For those of you worried about power needs, I can run this card on a name brand 520W PSU and and gaming only eats up about 380W of power.

Quiet coolerGood overall performanceDecent value Not very power-efficientCan't unlock to 5850񴋞 Google the following:"Official: nV News Testimonials the EVGA Geforce GTX 465 SC"I wrote this review after receiving a GTX 465 from EVGA to critique for NV News. I bought the 5830 beforehand as I was relatively particular that it would be the correct card to evaluate the 465 to, not because of cost but mainly because of specs and efficiency. In the assessment I benchmarked at both stock and overclocked speeds for Each cards on a nicely overclocked AMD x3 720 Black program, at resolutions of 1280x720 and 1920x1080.Needless to say, for about the 赨 mark this card is Extremely worth it.Please check out the complete assessment either by carrying out the Google search or by visiting nvnews.net. Flawless. Overclocked to 985c񳂯m on stock voltage, Pulled 20K in 06 at the above clocks. Does not support Computer software Voltage Overclocking like in MSI Afterburner. ATI only has a beta driver for it out now till the subsequent official release and it's not the very best. It's tough to justify the card at it's current price tag but IMO choosing up a pair instead of going with a single 5850 is worth it.

Looks very good on two monitors, reasonable price Only supports third monitor through Display-Port, but when I connected through display-port, it randomly strobed when I opened different apps on that monitor. Oh yea, now the ATI computer software won't uninstall... Thanks. NewEgg service impeccable as constantly. Got it RMA'ed and on the way back devoid of incident.

- Potent Firstly, you require to realize how ATI developed this chip. They got the 5850 and took out a ton of transistors. To compensate, they set the clock rate actually high. That offers us the first situation:- Sucks Electricity much more than the 5850- No matter how I mess with the settings, Crysis screen tears like heck. I upgraded from a 3870. I don't feel it was worth the 200 dollars.

JUST WHAT I WANTED! and very good cost :) Drivers that came with it sucked. my Mouse cursor, would SPLIT, if i join a game, like it looked like i cut my mouse cursor 20 instances, only restart would fix. But the drivers from their web site fixed it. Acquire IT!! XD youll appreciate it!

Direct X 11, 1GB DDR5, Heat sink is a good one particular. Overclocks extremely nicely I was in a position to push stock speeds by 16% so far. With its length I don't like the 6pins going straight out the back. Its huge, its a con but I will live with it for the price. Didn't get Contemporary Warfare 2 with it and I ordered the game edition. If you are getting issues with this cards size, get a 3.five" to 5.25" drive adapter bracket and relocate your disk to your additional five.25" bays removing your lower challenging disk bay need to add the room. Given that I don't have Modern Warfare two, it ran Battlefield Bad Business two: 1920x1080 w/ all high, AAx2 AFx4 @ 75.5 avg fpsBox specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ four.05ghz, 4gb Gkill DRR2 1066, ASUS P5QL Pro motherboard, LOGISYS 575w PSU, Also card was Overclocked at time of the Benchmark

DOA, But newegg wavered the restock fee and totally free shipping back to them for full refund. Stay away from these cards, if ATI cant make the card function off the line, what maks you think we can? These 񣅆񴋊's) cards are the cards that did make the 5870 specs so rather of trashing the cards they discount them and "try" to disable to dammaged units and pawn them off to newegg to sell. You can tell these are rebadged cards form the transistor count identical as the 5880's. Would wait till ATI/Nvidia (does the identical factor) do a respin on the fab design and get better yells on the chips rather of hopping on a operating card.

- Good card for the most demanding games out like Metro 2033 (almost maxed at 1680x1050 with 40+ FPS)- Make certain you pair with Quad Core so you don't bottleneck- ATI lastly got the drivers correct for XP 32 bit with Cat 10.five- runs cool & quiet at stock, can't hear it over my other fans- Runs in my P35-DS3L motherboard with no problems - Over priced when not on sale due to demand- Got mine at a single seventy five: on sale, after rebate and no cost 8gb USB drive (minus ฤ) for a decent deal- would not pay two hundred plus for this- Go with a 5770 if you don't program on playing games like Crysis, Metro 2033, BFBC2, World in Conflict, GTA 4 Had to use Cat ten.2 till ten.five came out. No complications given that. Really like the card and I need to be great for a different 2-2.five years immediately after replacing my 3850 that served me so well.30% additional expensive than the 5770 and only 15% faster on common. Worth it if playing extremely demanding games like I listed above. A 5770 would struggle with those games.Q9550 two.83 ghz CPU4 GB DDR2 800 RAM5830 1gb Video CardP35-DS3L MotherboardXP 32 bitGame at 1680x1050

This video card is great! I was making a spending budget gaming Pc and I believed this card may possibly not be excellent enough to play the most recent games, but I was incorrect! This card handles games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Contemporary Warfare 2 so easily!! I advise it! None at all. Possibly ATI demands to advertise far more? This is the initial ATI card I've ever gone with, soon after countless Nvidia cards, and all I can see is that I'm glad I did go with ATI.AMD + ATI > Intel + Nvidia

Direct X11, but i cant see a difference between it and Direct X10. Really good cover and fan. runs much cooler than earlier cards, since of the smaller die shrink to 40nm. Plus is it has 1 HDMI port and 2 DVI ports. By far ATI has the best cards for the funds. It is proper on par with the 4890. witch still sells for 赨. But a Nvidia equivalent would cost you way far more. You would be superior off receiving the Radeon 5850.

Great card, uncomplicated to install. Runs all games on max settings with no any fps lag. Bad organization two runs seriously smoothly even on multilayer. 3d mark vantage GPU score: 10136 Could be significantly higher if i upgrade from dual to quad. none, just want to have a big case if you want this to fit in nicely. the drivers are a small messy at the moment, with the 10.four but ATI ought to be working on fixing them. Massive improvement from my prior 8800 GT, see a distinction of 50 fps on typical on most games. Runs really cool @ 40 degrees on idle, at 50% fan speed.

I primarily bought this card due to the fact it was in a 48 hour sale and it looked promising. When I unboxed it, this thing was enormous, in a superior way. I have the Thermaltake Element G mid tower case and this factor barley squeezes in there! The performance i got from this was incredible. 250 fps on CoD4 and 125 fps on mw2. A variety of other games run at 60 fps. This card is definately worth the cash. None at the moment. Only problem is if you have a smaller case. The length is ten.5 inches.

Went from a 8800 GT (𞲞 GFLOPS) to this ( GFLOPS). Just amazing. I got a widescreen LCD screen too, play just about every game on the highest setting at 1920x1200. Just beautiful.* Silent* Rapid* Not a poor cost, in particular for us on a budget * Makes use of A LOT of electrical energy (𞳚 W) when maxed out, more than the 5870 which is additional effective than this. Now I know some of you diehard gamers will say "that's nothing, my SLI setup makes use of triple that wattage". Properly, I'm a bit of a penny pincher and I hate thinking that my computer now makes use of about the exact same power as my modest electric tea kettle....nearly 430 W!I purchased an power effective CPU (AMD quad core), a sliver certified PSU, and now I feel like any benefit from these has been undone. Besides the wattage requirement (which is a complaint to be made of any quickly card nowadays), this card has no concern that I can tell.Bear in mind to check that your PSU has two no cost 6-pin power connectors. According to ATI support, you do need to have to connect both!!!

Fantastic performance with no getting to fork more than crazy income for the 5850. I am a silence nut and have been impressed with the quietness of this card. CCC adjusts fan beautiful. Haven't tried overclocking it. Also, new Catalyst drivers are out and no separate 5830 drivers are required now! They perform wonderful thus far. Price tag. Evaluations online consistently say this card must be two Franklins. If you can get it for that with or with no rebates then go for it. Value & rebate is why 4 eggs.Incredibly big. If you have money though go for the 5850. It really makes use of much less power & I assume generates much less heat for increased efficiency. No require attempting to cite FPS. If you are in this category then it will run most of what you want wonderful.
