Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:
maybe durability?
Pros: price, noise, airflow. Comment:
I bought this for a friends. I was thinking they would be very audible but I was wrong. They are incredibly quiet for a 110cfm fan at this price. This is the best value for money fan I ever try. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:
Loud
Pros: Moves a lot of air Comment:
These fans sure move a lot of air, and are very strong, but they are also quite loud - louder than what I expected at least... I knew I was not going for a quite fan, but now with 4 of these in my PC, these are very loud... as loud as putting any modern GPU fan to 100%, which is pretty loud.Recommend it to anyone who always uses headphones or lives in a noisy-ish environment where you wouldn't notice it much. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:
Loud
Pros: Very high airflowGreat price Comment:
I bought 6 of these for CM830 Case for summer cooling, and I have to say they are AMAZING. Very cheap, came to about $56 total and I would definitely recommend this brand to anybody who needs fans and doesn't care about the noise. The only thing you need to watch out for is the 3 pin connectors don't seem to want to come out of hookups on extender cables and molex adapters. Just give it an extra tug and they'll come out. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan

Pros: Low Cost and Quiet Comment:
I was looking for a low cost fan that provided enough air flow and it is quite at the same time. Highly recommend this fan to anyone. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:
Kind of weak static pressure
Pros: Not that loudMove a ton of airCheap Comment:
These things are not loud at all, even on full blast they arent near as loud as a large house fan. If you think that these fans are loud, do not get a job in IT servicing servers that run Delta's and similar very high performance fans. These fans move a ton of air, the cfm to cost ratio is enormous. They are cheap, and dont have the life of other fans, reccomend a fan controller to preserve their life a little longer. Crap static pressure makes these more ideal for side intake or top exhaust. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:
Its not 4 pin just 3Kinda loud at 100%
Pros: CheapPowerful Comment:
I used this 3 pin fan on my heatsink. Although its only 3 pin I was able to throttle it in my bios. Below 45 degrees it runs at 60% and is pretty quite. It brought my temps down on an older PC and I tried it with the OCZ vendetta 2 and it is a lot better then the stock fan. I will only give it 4 stars because its not 4 pin. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:

Pros: AirflowPrice Comment:
Got 3 of these. If you want airflow, get these. Powered my computer on and wow, these thing sound like my entire case would start hovering around my house. Great for cooling, but they're pretty loud. I'm perfectly fine with me though. My CPU and system temperature at well under 35 degrees with these in my Thermaltake V3. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Loud!
Pros:Pushes a lot of air in the case.3-pin fan connector (vs 4 pin molex) Comment:
These are great fans if all you are looking to accomplish is push a lot of air (and I know most of you are looking for just that!). However, in terms of noise pollution, these fans make a heck of a lot of sound. I have an Antec 1200 Case, and this fan that I set as a side panel fan, makes much more sound than the stock Antec fans! It is very easy to tell when this fan is running and when it is unplugged (or turned off through a fan controller). Either way, if you don't want a stealth ninja PC, these fans are great. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Very Loud
Pros:High air flow, Low cost. No LEDs. Comment:
Purchased this to replace a stock 120mm fan with LEDs used in my Coolermaster 3-4 drive conversion bay. The fan is much louder than i expected. I connnected a fan controller to the Scythe to bring down the rpm to about the same sound level. At the same sound level, the 4 hard drives run around the same temperature. Should have purchased a lower rpm Scythe. |

Pros:Lots of airflowCheap Comment:
Have about seven of these in my CM690 case. Great fans and push a lot of air. Just make sure you buy a fan controller as they are loud at full speed. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Noisy
Pros:Cheap, reliable. Comment:
I used this to replace various fans on various heatsinks and while it is an OK fan it is not that quiet. I now prefer Gelid fans. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:noise
Pros:plenty of airflow no doubtprice Comment:
I was looking for a cheap replacement for HDD fans and got this fan. It have plenty of airflow, but it noisy. I should have read the description carefully as it says 37dB but I got blind fooled by the price thinking it was for case usage only. My fault, but for a dollar or two I could have a silent efficient fan for my needs. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:loud at full speed
Pros:lost of airflow, quiet at lower speeds Comment:
still waiting on two more to come in (they were on back order) but the one that did come in works GREAT!!!. pleanty of airflow, a tad loud at full speed, but quiet when running slower. noticed lower temps on videocard already.installed on side panel of an Antec 300 gaming case. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:- Noise, if you're quite picky and/or going for a dead silent set-up.
Pros:- Pushes a great amount of air- Not too loud at all, don't let the noise intimidate you, it's not that bad whatsoever. Comment:
These fans are terrific. They're well-priced, only 8.27$, I mean c'mon. They're not cheaply built though, don't be fooled. They push a great amount of air, great for intake and what not. In terms of noise, I don't find them noisy even when maxed out, but people have different thresholds for computer noise. Would highly recommend these. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:you need a fan controller or it's very loud
Pros:110 CFM at 1900RPMIt goes up to 2040RPM with my Scythe Kaze Master Ace 3.5IN Bay 2 Fan Controller Comment:
To tell the truth, i put this fan as my CM690's rear fan. the differences between 1200RPM and full blast 2000RPM is only about 1-2 degrees C when idle. I hope they'll make a bit more differences after i OC my E8400. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:when installing into a fan controller the little nibs on the 3pin plug are larger than standard- I had to use a bit of sandpaper to file them down. not really a negative.
Pros:extreme airflowlow noise compared to other +100cfm fans. Comment:
These are excellent fans! High CFM, very compatible size, relatively quiet for performance. I'm currently using 3 of them in the top of an HAF932 to push air through a rad. working very well. Only issue i had was as stated in the weaknesses. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:-Probably too loud for some people
Pros:-Great air flow addition-Quick to install Comment:
Overall this fan was exactly what I wanted to be on my Vendetta 2 instead of the stock that came with it. Sure it's loud however I wasn't expecting anything that was silent. That being said it's nothing that's overpowering for noise coming from my case though. Definitely will buy these again. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:loud when at 100% (goes for any fan that moves alot of air tho)
Pros:moves air very well Comment:
These fans are awsome i put a few in my cm690 case and they lowered the ambient temps by over 10C. If you buy these fans make sure you have a way to control the speed unless noise doesnt bother you. |

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:- Bit loud but not much really- Wish it was sleeved
Pros:- Good airflow- Good price Comment:
What a great fan this is. The big bad Kaze Jyuni performs very well and moves a lot of air. I use it as an exhaust on in my CM stacker 830 evo. I love the design of it too. It reminds me of the large fans in the Halo 3 map Foundry. I would definitely couple this fan with a fan controller, preferably the Scythe Kazemaster to insure a comfortable level of operation. |
-Quiet (at low can be heard but not poor compared with personal computer volume)(at high fans are a lil bit loud -Great CFM-25mm thick (slim)-Colored black-low-cost -Weaker CFM than old fan (both rated the very same CFM) by pretty much double-Just weak flow.... sad (only reason i gave it a four egg) Old (white) fan had wider blades to the point light did not pass through, these blades are a lot thinnerThe Center circle was much less in R (radii) or (radius) (on this one)with these two elements this fan had much less rpm but for the very same CFM? OVER ALLTaking this in This fan could not truly be 110 CFM as because the last one i had (rated the very same) had greater RPM and wider blades, but this is also cheaper than the true 110 CFM fans and quieter, paid ฟ per fan on last 1 which was 110CFM, but im not 100% positive due to the fact i did not have a testing unit.
