Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:-a tad bit loud

Pros:-Slim-Good air movement-Price
Comment:
I bought this because the ULTRA KAZE wouldn't fit in my case in front of the HDD cage So I bought this as a replacement. This moves a fair bit of air, and by fair I mean A LOT! It's very nice, makes me wish I had bought these instead of the ultra kazes.

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:noisy

Pros:very powerfulcheap
Comment:
Regardless of your noise tolerance, you will be better off to put a jet engine (offers great airflow) to cool your PC since you can’t hear anything anyway. This fan is definitely not for home use.

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Loud at max speed.

Pros:Awesome performance.
Comment:
I bought 2 of them: one for my thermalright ultra extreme and the other as exhaust rear fan. Coupled the software SPEEDFAN to modulate speed with temperature, they are PERFECT.

Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:Noisier than Arctic Cooling 12025 PWM.Obstructing exhaust increases noise level a little, obstructing intake increases noise level very noticeably. Most likely sleeve bearing since it's only a 30,000hrs lifespan.

Pros:120x25mm, all black, open chassis/screw holes, screws included, paper and plastic packaging, details/tech specs written on packaging, 2yr warranty, RoHS compliant, This fan might have stronger airflow than the 120mm NMB-MAT Panaflo Ultra High speed but it's too close to tell by hand. This fan is so strong its own airflow knocks it over when standing up.Rated at 37DB but sounds like less. It's a little quieter than 120mm NMB-MAT Panaflo Ultra High. The Panaflo has a whizzing noise this scythe doesn't. The vibration noise when placed on the floor was negligible if present at all. Pushes more air than Arctic Cooling 12PWM.My unit has a 3pin TX3 connector and a 4pin molex LP4 to 3pin TX3 adaptor; adaptor has the tachometer RPM sensor bypass so you can still monitor RPMs from motherboard while using molex. As always lowering the input voltage reduces fan speed, reduces noise level and increases lifespan.
Comment:
I like this almost more than the 120mm Panaflo because it's quieter and lighter and is only a few CFM less than the panaflo. However this unit is probably sleeve bearing and has far shorter lifespan than the panaflo. Panaflos use Magnetic Leveling, a type of hovering, and I think the Panaflos are rated for 150,000hrs vs this Scythe at 30,000hrs. I will really have to debate the shorter quieter lifespan vs the longer noisier lifespan. Scythe SY1225SL12SH "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:A bit LoudNothing else really

Pros:Moves lots of airFair PriceReliable
Comment:
Bought two of these fans, one for my Scythe Ninja rev. B heatsink and another for an extra case intake, and let me just say, They Work Great! I have them on a fan controller and at ~1/2 speed they keep my E4400 (running at 3.3Ghz) at a good 43°C at full load. They are a bit loud when running full speed but with a fan controller they can run near silent while still giving sufficient cooling. I would definitely recommend this fan.

Well, just got this today and I've got to say, my computer case fans don't even compare to this! It may be loud, but I don't really care because my music is always gonna be louder.
