Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:Could move more air

Pros:Quiet, good air flow, 3 pin and 2 pin connector
Comment:
Nice little fan for the price. Works well and can be connect to either a 3 or 2 pin motherboard header. The air movement is good but could be better but that would make it louder.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:No rpm sensor.

Pros:Absolutly silent!
Comment:
Just buy and install one to replace my dead chipset fan. Easy to install and absolutly silent. If only it could have come with an rpm sensor it will have been a perfect product. I recommand that product.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:- None really. Just a fan.

Pros:- Cheap- Reliable
Comment:
This is a good fan. Better than the HTPC edition. I have it on my northbridge and it cools it great. The box is nice as well, if that's a bonus to anybody. :D

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:Screws are the only option.

Pros:Good airflow. Great price. Very quiet.
Comment:
This is a great fan especially for the price. I would have liked to see it come with some pushpins as well. The fan is very silent. You won't get better for the money.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:None

Pros:SilentPush a little more air than the 10mm version
Comment:
My 610i chipset is running too hot and unstable. The Scythe 40x10mm was powerless to cool it sufficently while my other Fonsan 40x20mm high speed fan was whining so much the sound was killing me. This Scythe might not be as powerful as the Fonsan but at least it is dead quiet and keeps the chipset cool enough to be stable. No complaint.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:Somewhat loudDifficult to mount

Pros:WorksFit where my dead chipset fan was
Comment:
I used this as a replacement for the chipset fan on my Asus A8N-SLI motherboard. The fan had died, and the area around the chip had actually started to melt and go soft.I managed to screw the fan into what was left of the casing around the original fan, and clip it back in. The system has been running fine ever since.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:none

Pros:- very decent airflow for it's size- silent- quality build
Comment:
I needed a temparary solution for my loud EVGA 680i northbridge cooler. Worked great but I needed a more permanent solution so I replaced the entire NB/SB cooling setup. Worked great for those 3 weeks though.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:None, this is the best 40mm in the world.

Pros:Ultra silent and seems like it provides a lot more air flow than advertised.
Comment:
The Scythe Mini Kaze 40mm fan is the ultimate solution to cooling your Northbridge or any other small area you need to cool down. It is dead silent and provides a lot more air flow than it advertises. Excellent product, highly recommended.

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:its weak at not being kick ass

Pros:kick ass and makes me feel good
Comment:
umnnn... my northbridge fan for my evga 680i lt was bugging me and I was too lazy to install a northbridge heatsink so I decided to get this bad boy... it pulls more cfm than the stock fan and it's a lot quieter... really quiet... can't hear it... I'm typing right beside my case and I can't hear it... well I can but you get the point. it's like a ninja... ohhh... and my brother is mad cause I sli'd two 8800 gts ssc's (i already had one before i sli'd wanted to get two 8800 gts 512's but couldn't afford two new ones)... why does that matter for the fan? cause I said so

Scythe SY124020L Case Fan
Cons:None

Pros:Cheap!Great quality.
Comment:
I bought this to keep the chipset cool on my P35 board that had passive cooling. It works great! Not only that, but this fan is dead quiet! I had a thermaltake before this and it was the loudest thing in my tower, now silence. It's nice to come across a product that every once in a while exceeds your expectations. Because of this I give it 5 stars, and am giving serious thought to a Scythe CPU cooler.
