I brought 2 of these and they perform really well. They are fast since they are 7200 RPM and for 68$ on weekly sale that's a good price. I can't speak for reliability but I never had problem with Seagate.

I recently purchased this HDD to replace an 80Gb WD in my laptop; Nothing wrong with the WD, just an upgrade.I have always used Seagate in my systems, and will always use Seagate. The WD came in the laptop, and I was regrouping my laptop as a strictly business use laptop. This HDD installed in minutes, reformatted with Vista, the I ''de-bloated'' Vista, and this thing runs like a bandit, and is as quiet as a mouse. I know from time to time you read about DOA or issues people are having with HDD installs; but I always buy HDD's based on specs needed and not price or popularity. I build and maintain industrial computers, and would not think of using anything but a Seagate. And this is the place to buy, good service, knowledgable reps, and fair prices.
