-Sleek Appear-Sufficient Cooling-Sturdy Construct-Quiet -Tight on space I got this case to replace my Antec P180 ( wanted a HTPC case because I use my Computer as a media center). Was in a position to match my 8800GTX in by taking out the center HDD casing. The 8800 plus my OC'd e6600 create a lot of heat and I only noticed a 3C larger temp alter over the P180.Set up can be annoying mainly because items are so tight on space. Most HTPC instances are tight on space and so I can't dock it any eggs. For the price tag, high quality, and style this case gets 5Ǜ. |

Good case adds a really elegant touch to my entertainment center. This is by far one of the very best HTPC instances I have used so far. Be aware it is big and will take up a bit of space in your entertainment center. But I fit my 975xbx2 board in it without having to a lot trouble. Measure the region where you strategy to place this hulking beast. Initially it would not match in my entertainment center. Very sexy, matches our Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver nicely. Holds two DVD/Blu-ray drives and two challenging drives and still has space for a typical ATX board - there aren't a complete HTPC instances that can. The rear fans aren't too noisy, and retain it plenty cool. Like others have mentioned, the hard drive cage is straight in front of where the PCI-e port will be on your motherboard, so huge video cards are going to demand you to move the really hard drives to the external three.5" bays. We're running an older GeForce 6800 card in ours and so space was not an challengeOnly point that seriously bothers me is that the front cover refuses to stay closed. Gonna see if I can put a magnet in it somewhere to enable preserve it closed (away from the difficult drives). 120 mm fans would be good. This case appears huge adequate that they should have been in a position to fit them. Otherwise, quite nice case style. |

Exceptional case for those wanting to custom create an HTPC. Assistance for each complete & micro ATX boards was a certainly plus for me due to the fact I'm just rebuilding 1 from older hardware. Small tight on space when initially placing anything in, but with good cable management, there's plenty of area. About the size of a typical stereo receiver, so fits properly in any entertainment center. Flip down front panel provides it a fantastic aesthetic appear when closed. Like other people have mentioned, front panel LEDs are overly bright. I wouldn't rate that as a thing to dissuade acquiring it, though. This is not a gaming case! These of you wanting to use bigger, higher-finish video cards won't be able to use the middle drive bay which has the mount for a front intake fan. But, this is meant as an HTPC case. Even 1080p HD movies don't demand a beast of a video card, so just save yourself dollars and get a smaller card. I have an Nvidia 7800gt utilizing the component out in mine and it operates excellent for anything I've thrown at it.For energy supplies, look for ones with an intake fan on the bottom to take advantage of the side vent on the case. The Rosewill RG530-two 530W is a excellent fit for example. |

This is a really effectively manufactured case. Nice design and style; the magnetized door is a nice touch. 80mm fans are a small loud but do a extremely great job with moving air out of the case. Lots of choices for component placement. Comes with plenty of hardware. Bright LEDs for Energy and HDD. Lengthy graphics cards may possibly get close to the middle bay, but I essentially was capable to match mine. The SATA connectors on my mobo face towards the front of the case which produced cable management a tiny more challenging. Middle bay is removable, but considering that you can mount a 92mm fan in the front middle bay you may want to keep it in to keep away from air flow problems. Nice case for HTPC components. I wouldn't advocate for gaming rigs as lack of air flow may possibly be an challenge. Tall CPU coolers and lengthy graphics cards might not fit well inside the enclosure. |

Appears sharp. Fits a complete ATX board. Roomy to perform with. Horrendous cooling. It's quick to see that generating this computer system silent and cool is next to not possible. The PSU is on the other finish of the technique, so you've got no way of pulling air off the CPU. With most coolers, your fins for your CPU will be directing air towards the back, so youre receiving no benefit from the side fan. Plus, sticking in a fan in the side with anything other than the stock CPU fan on your CPU, it wont even fit. There's no best port for pulling in air onto the CPU, so with no the pull of air out of the case from the PSU getting located so far away, your CPU will get hot. And if you want your personal computer to be silent, this will not be possible. If you go with a side blowing cooler, you're going to get a ton of noise from pushing the air across the poorly designed rear fan holes, even with grills and anything off. Also: The GPU has no good way of cooling either. Pulling air from across a warm CPU, and fighting a 120mm fan on the PSU for exhaust air implies really bad cooling This case appears nice. It created sense on paper. But if you want a cool, silent computer system, this is not for you. It can do quiet, but with the sacrifice of further heat. |

Great case -- my hardware fits nicely in it (including 3 difficult drives and a DVD drive with more area nevertheless obtainable) and appears Excellent beneath the Television. No one thinks it's a laptop! The blue LEDs on the front (HDD status and energy) are very bright. Some may well like this, but they have been distracting me from the Tv proper above it. I disconnected the LEDs from the motherboard. If I had a purpose to have a lot more than one HTPC, I would certainly acquire this case once more. |

Good seeking, nicely built case. Well packaged for shipping. (Mine came in a box that showed the markings of the typical UPS beatdown, but the case itself was excellent.)Robust built case with no actual sharp edges inside to mangle you. The center assistance brace adds strength to the prime, adding peace of mind for a stacked arrangement if require be.Blends ideal into our house theater rack to the point of people asking "You have a personal computer where?"A lot of HD cages for future expansion. (I'll fill my existing three 2TB drives at some point I suppose...lol)Decent price immediately after rebate. None for my existing setup, but as pointed out quite a few times already, if you use a longer video card be prepared to shed the center HD cage. The odd PSU lay out could lead to headaches with certain setups I'm sure. As pointed out in other testimonials, do your self a favor and add an ATX extension to your order. I thought I would be ok as my PSU had a longer than common ATX lead, but it ended up getting about 1ǘ" short, which led to a build delay and a trip to the regional computer store. ;)I've read a lot of complaints on wire management, but if you plan out your wiring a lot of it can be ran under the MOBO. The standoffs mount into fairly higher dimples which tends to make for very a bit of space underneath. For these needing to take the center HD cage out. With some modding and ingenuity, I think it would be feasible to mount the cage off to left in between the other HD cage and the PSU if you're operating a Micro ATX board. |

A lot of space for a HTPC. Pretty simple to operate with. The stock silverstone fans are fine, my cpu and video card fan were louder but fine once the case was close up. I have a 8800GT in a M-Atx MB and did not use the middle tough drive rack due to space concerns. I place my challenging drives in the bay in front of the power provide. A nicely built, significant, plain HTPC case. I have a Silverstone SG-1 as nicely and they both installs went pretty effortless. |

Nice hunting case. I have a 3 tiered entertainment shelf with a reciever on the lowest, this on the second, and my blu-ray player and xbox360 on the third tier.I would say that if you don't program on adding a contemporary gaming class video card to it and don't strategy on OC'ing the cpu, you can pretty considerably set it up right out of the box and be performed with it. You could want to swap out the 80mm fans that come with it for quieter ones even though.Space was cramped compared to functioning on a thing like my Antec 900 for certain, but it wasn't too bad for the type aspect it is meant to be. If you strategy on putting a huge video card into this I think about the greatest con not the space, but the heat and noise that will go with it. There are vents on this case, but the majority of them are in the extremely back of the case so receiving fresh air flow is tough. I figure the vents are kept at a minimum to lessen sound traveling out of the front, sides, and top, but this can also make the case an oven.I put an 8800gtx in this although so this produced the whole case temperatures enhance by rather a bit. I would offset this with additional fans, but then I ended up with a living room that was as soon as quiet getting fans endlessly humming away. This drove me insane. This answer to this was a water cooling technique that cooled both the CPU and GPU. This was rather challenging to set up and took me two entire evenings, but it was worth it. Notes below. having an HTPC was anything I didn't necessarily want as I had an xbox to stream neighborhood media and game with, and a samsung blu-ray player which also did netflix, pandora, and of course complete hidef movies. What spurred this was my desire to make a new main computer with an i7 CPU, SSD tough drive, and an nvidia 275.I hate to not put old parts to great use so I figured I'd put my e6600 and 8800gtx into an HTPC although also hooking a 3 TB raid five tower up to it so it could host all of the homes information. This would also be excellent to offload these file serve skills of my main pc so it wouldn't have to be taxed indexing and streaming information. Now I can browse the internet simply on my 52" samsung LCD. I can also play numerous Computer games that either aren't out on the xbox, or play with greater detail.I went with a Swiftech cooling kit. Not the compact kit, despite the fact that that would have been a lot less complicated. This lowered my GPU temps to 50 C below load! This also cut the fan noise down 75%. |

The situation is genuinely strong, great and heavy like it really should be. The situation is sleek and looks really good. The removable internal bays actually help when putting in the guts. The instruction manual was incredibly clear. The front bezel has a magnet inside that keeps it closed. Shuts and opens very smooth. The LEDs for HDD and energy are blazing vivid blue and if you have this situation out in the open this could lead to a dilemma, they are blinding even from within a entertainment center, they shine by means of the cracks in the door. The power supply bay is on the opposite side versus a normal situation. I am not sure why they did this but dependent on your motherboard layout and energy provide cable length, some cables are a bit of a stretch. My 4 pin CPU plug was seriously a tight stretch. Some evaluations commented about removing the center bay for additional extended video cards...this may well be true but for this to be required the video card requires to be seriously genuinely long. I figured mine would require this but it didn't even come close to not fitting. This case is incredibly roomy. All round a genuinely good case and I spent more than I thought I would but I do not regret it. |

Will fit a total set of standard sized components inside. There is even space to hide unused wires and cables. You can fully disassemble this situation to set up any configuration you want. Thre are three bays to install what you will need and all three are removable. You can remove the center cage if you want to make room for longer video cards if you wish. not seriously cons but a couple of factors to think about ahead of paying for this case.1.) video card length. if your going to use a stand alone card, watch its length. the challenging drives can mount in the middle cage, there is an solution to install a fan in the front of that cage and the back of the difficult drives will stick out a small bit much more if you do that. I use a HD4650 card. no issues. i believe you can get away with a HD4830 length but a 4850 will NOT match. you can usually move the drive cage to the PSU side if you wish and free up space. but the fan in that bay may well not have a excellent supply of intake.two.) PSU mount forces the intake fan on a standard "bottom" of a PSU to suck air from the outdoors on the left. not fmor the inside of the situation. be careful exactly where you put this case as you may well block the intake of the PSU. I use a PCP&C 400. requires air from vents about it not from the outdoors vent. operates nicely. but if it sucked air form the inside of the case it may help cooling. PSU location is across the situation from the motherboard so please examine your ATX power attachment length. I run an e5200 inside this in an enclosed Television stand, with some holes cut in the back board just to allow the fans to breathe a bit. one hundred% load hits righ tat 60c. im going with an aftermarket cooling fan.ones that match. 92mm models that have a height no much more than 126mm. (AC7 92mm model fits but just fits, zalmann 92mm fits. those styles perform but the big 120mm stuff will not) the front fold down plate fits rather close, so anythign protruding out the bays (like fan controllers with knobs) wont let it fit flush. only fan controllers with flush buttons will match. This case has all the possibilities you could need in a Incredibly cost-effective price tag. Quite nice and conservative. it will match all other stereo gear with out drawing interest to itself. i advocate receiving an external USB hub to plug into the back and have that sit on major of the console to plug something in devoid of possessing the door ope |

I've purchased this case from a neighborhood retailer whith other stuff for my workplace, but will get new high-top quality fans from Newegg.1- Extremely nice plain appear, with brushed aluminum finish on the frontɐ- The front panel opens smoothly with a slight push of a finger, I like thatɑ- It's one of the extremely few HTPC chassis that can accommodate high-end GPUs (yes, even those large 11.3") : instead of getting only one bay for all drives, therefore possibly blocking the way to the GPU card, you have 2 bays that can be swapped, or a single removed (the middle one particular for that matter). For a less than 18" depth ྱ.three" to be exact), this is extremely fantastic.four- In my case there's no require for a major fan/air vent : the hight in between shelves on my Tv stand just fit effectively with this chassis, and I can also stack other program parts on leading if need to have be (there's a top rated cross-bar solidifying the chassis for that matter). Additional over, the sides of my Television stand are open, which means that side air vent or fans IS the solution. 1- There's no IR receiver (I don't require the complete kit Remote/iMon computer software, just an IR receiver). An RF as one particular Lian-Li's providing would have been even far better, but for it's cost, this is really not a con...two- If stacking other apparels on top rated of this chassis, a leading aluminum panel would have been significantly much better rather of metal, for heat dissipation. But again, for its pricing, this is not a con... 1- The PSU fan is not supposed to pull hot air from the CPU, this would shorten the PSU's life cycle. The PSU fan must face the side air vent, pulling fresh air to cool down the PSU, whilst the other PSU fan close to its power button ejects hot air from the back port.2- there's a side air duck for an optional fan, blowing fresh air onto the CPU. Is there sufficient space? I don't know however, I'm waiting for my Mobo so as to test that. But for that matter, getting the PSU on the other side is just plain logics.3- Can be noisy as most HTPC chassis with 80-92mm fans. You are shopping for an HTPC chassis, not a mid-complete tower. But there are two solutions:either accommodate an external water-cooler, or select fan-much less components (which will limit performances), in a low-end process; either replace all fans. I've observed outstanding ones at Newegg that are about 25-30CFM with low noise levels ྯ-22 dba).four- you can mount an optional 80x25mm or 92x25mm fan on the middle 3.five"bay. You can also swap both bays |

1) Beautiful case2) Plenty of space Not much to gripe about, but right here are some minor ones1) The aforementioned bright blue LEDs2) Small thumb screws are generally nice!three) It appears that you could put a fan in the front of the center difficult drive mounts, but it would make the hard drives protrude into the major area of the case. I wish there was some guidance on this, but with appropriate use of cool-operating devices, you shouldn't have any cooling challenges. Developing in this case was a real pleasure. I went with a miniATX, so I can't inform you if a full ATX is cramped or not. I also didn't wait to come across out if the included fans have been nice or not. I suggest the Scythe KAMA FLEX 80mm found here on Newegg. Mount these with the Nexus silicone fan mounts discovered elsewhere online as well. I also went with the Xigmatek HDT-SD964 and a Scythe Gentle Typhoon fan. Don't waste your time (like I did) operating these with fan controllers, as all of the fans pointed out are entirely inaudible at complete speed in this case!A single last thing to mention is that the heatsink I used (mentioned above) forces you to point the fan "up" when using an AM2/AM2+/AM3 mobo. Luckily, this case has a ventilation hole proper exactly where the heatsink fan is pointing. All in all, this worked out well and a new AMD quad core tested in the low 30C when operating four instances of CPU BurnIn. |

Disconnecting it seriously isn't an selection because I would by no means know when the personal computer is on. I lost some screws someplace in the case. They are challenging to get out. Blue LED is brite but a handful of modest pieces of clear tape fixed that. Mount a tough drive in the case mounts, it vibrates the case and makes annoining noise. The front of this case looks fantastic - brushed black metal that perfectly matches my Yamaha Receiver. I also like that there is a front door to cover your drives up - absolutely nothing is uglier than seeking at the front of a DVD drive and choice of USB/firewire ports! The other nice factor is that the front door drops "softly and slowly" when you open it. On the inside there is a ton of space for a full ATX M/B and a bunch of drives. I'd say the quantity of space here is very enough if you want to install a full length Video Card. Very best of all the case is very solid - no wiggling/vibrating/buzzing or motion at all in any of the elements after assembly. It's hard to locate 1, genuinely. I suppose the worst factor about the case is that there are some quite slight gaps about the empty drive slot covers. Extremely slight. All in all not bad. I feel with some minor tweaking you could put 6 internal 3.five drives in this case and nonetheless fill all the external bays (the other two internal three.5 drives could be place below the external five.25 drive bays and under the external three.5 drive bays). An added 80mm fan can be mounted inside the grill on the correct side of the case (there are mounting holes there for a single). There is also a mounting hole for yet another 80mm fan in front of the three.5 internal drive bay to cool your H/Ds. You could turn this case into a 5-fan airliner if you wanted! |

The 3 drive bays are effortlessly removed with only two screws each and the middle can be left out altogether if you dont want a front fan.
