Cons:no real weaknesses but a couple improvements - cable sheathing would be nice and possibly more sata connectors.
Pros:Quiet, stable, VERY LOW DOA (1 so far (out of 100's) and it was a power switch not the PSU) Comment:
Simply the best PSU I have ever ordered. I go through between 10-20 per month and they are the most solid piece of hardware I have had the pleasure of using in ages. Easily the equivalent of any other brand's 500w PSU (OTHER brand! Fortron makes PSU's that are rebadged as almost anything heh)100% solid running amd 3600+ & M2N-E with 8800GTS, 15k 36gb scsi and 500gb seagate hdd's, a dvd burner, 3 panaflo fans. Enough Said! Ce bloc d'alimentation est le meilleur achat pour ce budget. Il a assez de puissance pour alimenter la majorité des systèmes actuels qui ne sont pas en SLI (même certaines configurations SLI pourraient marcher sans problème avec ce PSU). The only choice for your basic system, highly recommended. Don't bother with anything else unless you KNOW you'll need more wattage to run your video card, and then don't bother with anything under $100 as it will not be better than this. |
At first this PSU look liked a really cheap piece of hardware that should come in some no name case. But after setting up a decent system with it it has shown me it is very reliable and an awesome choice for someone looking for a cheap, but very reliable, PSU that will last. I recommend it to anyone looking for a 400W PSU for under 45$.
