Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons:Only 1 fan

Pros:Lots of place for DrivesNo screws
Comment:
Good casing for the price, but comes only with 1 fan. You can put up to 4 120mm fans so kinda good for cooling and for OC.

Really like the way the harddrives are installed and the airflow is awesome. I definitely don't like this chassis. Firstly there are no directions on if you want standoffs or not and as there are already raised sections where the typical motherboard would go you kind of have to guess. It didn't support there had been 2 standoffs with all of the screws and so on. so you have to guess. I decided to go and get a lot more since I didn't feel like shorting out my motherboard. Because of this (I assume) the motherboard did not line up with the rest of the case meaning I had to be creative installing my dual graphics cards and so on. My heatsink did not fit because, once again, the motherboard was too high so I was forced to use the stock one. Attempting to get the tough drives to really go into their slots following filling the pc with two graphics cards numerous fans and your power adapter is interesting to say the least. I have 3 ƒx3.5inch and a smaller SSD). Why they do it that way is beyond me... Genuinely too poor – going to be re-developing with one more chassis. Searching at all the other reviews perhaps it was just me, honestly if the motherboard was down a little bit I almost certainly would have had a great encounter, once more, just didn't want to short out a 跌 motherboard.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons:Flimsy and light, MB punchouts not properly aligned, IO plate is a stuggle to install and doesn't fit snugly once installed, front fan was a pain to install.

Pros:Inexpensive,nice look, cooling potential.
Comment:
This was a simple build and should have been quick and easy. Unfortunately there was a lot of cussin' and snarlin' as the cheap material and construction of this case comes back to bite you.(see cons)On the bright side, customer is very happy and loves the look of this case.I wouldn't use this case again as there are better options in this price range, IE: Antec 100, Rosewill Destroyer, Xion Classic, Silverstone Precision.

It has loots of room, and the best part is the psu at the bottom so finally the power cord doesn't get in the way, and defenetly a plus is the dust filter included for the psu

Plenty ventilation, nice black coating inside and out. Has some cable management. Sturdy case. The USB Ports are not grounded. It can shut down your PC if you have some static electricity and plug in a USB item. I had this similar issue with a CM Elite case and replaced the USB ports with a SS USB Control Panel which is made with brushed aluminum and screws to the case chassis so I did not have this concern. The dilemma is that the USB ports on this case are not removable so I had to get creative. Also, if you program to install a Touch 2000 fan controller in this case, you may have to do some trimming on the inside of the front panel of the case to get it to fit. I bought this case from a different on-line vendor that like S&H was about Ū.00 less that the price here just before S&H. The ventilation is the case is wonderful as my CPU temps dropped. Also as some reviews stated, after mounting your program board a regular 120mmx120mmx25mm fan WILL NOT FIT in the top fan position. You will need a 120mm x120mm x 12mm fan to install there. The manufacturer ought to mention that in their manual, but they do not. I purchased the 120mm x 12mm fan from Newegg and it fits wonderful. I would recommend this case.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: -Could use more HDD tooless clips-Needs a better fan than the stock fan that came with it

Pros: -Lots of ventilation-tooless and easy to open/close-budget
Comment:
It's good case overall, just needs a better fan than the stocked fan. Also purchased the Corsair H60 and didn't really fit into the rig. Unless you don't use the optical drives, you can zip tie the H60 in the optical bay. If going air cooling, would recommend for budget builds.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: - not the best fan (barley does anything)- only has 1 fan- the I/O shield had some issue lining up on my MoBo- not filters( doable considering the cost)

Pros: - All Black- tool less design- Cheap- Semi-descent quality
Comment:
I go this for the price and also becuase it was all black. This is a budget case and has good build quality. The fan that it comes with isnt good and i would probably replace it. It barley cooled anything. The hard drive bay is good and doesnt have issues. I wish it had dust filters though because it is a dust magnet underneath my desk.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: * Front IO panel can't be removed

Pros: * Looks good* Plenty of room for all your components* Good airflow
Comment:
I purchased this case to replace my Gigabyte Aurora. I needed a smaller and easier to transport case and found that this case fit the bill perfectly. So far the only complaint I have with this case at all is that the front IO panel can't be removed. I don't need the extra USB or audio ports so I would prefer to simply not have the attached to the case.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: low quality front usb and audio panel.

Pros: cheap for midtower.Very good spacing.cool LED fan at back.
Comment:
i bought this case mainly cause its cheap, got it for only 40 dollars. i would have gone with a corsair graphite series but i didnt have enough after purchasing all the main parts.overall i managed to fit two 6870 in it without having to worry about spacing. cable management is okay, managed to jam all wires in and closing the side cover, front usb and audio is quite hard to use as i need to jab my cords in, and my headphones jacks dont always go in completely, so i need to fiddle around with it before i get sounds from my head phones.even though i didnt like the front usb/audio ports very much, im still giving it 5/5 because its very cheap for a midtower case like this. -good job Thermaltake!

Cons: A bit flimsy, but is this really a weakness for $40?

Pros: Cheap!Looks goodVery light
Comment:
I paid $40 bucks for this tower. I am rating it 5/5 because for $40, this thing is well worth it. Obviously it is not the most rigid tower out there, but its $40 bucks; is very light and comes with alot of space.Fantastic tower for the price; would buy again for another gaming rig any day.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: not very sturdylack of prefilters

Pros: cheaplooks goodplently of fan locations
Comment:
I bought this thinking it would be my new go to budget case over the tried and true Coolermaster RC-330. Well this case does look a little better and has an interesting layout, but it just doesn't have the build quality of a comparible Coolermaster. The biggest difference is the CM has the whole front panel screen installed with foam prefilters. This works awesome. The Thermaltake unfortunately only puts the foam behind the 5.25" drive bays. I would say the window is a bit small and in a silly spot also. The case is built fairly light and as a result is kinda flimsy.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: Front panel connectors weak build quailty.

Pros: Good quality for the price I paid *$38*
Comment:
Everything about this is case is great, no complaints for the price I paid for ($38)! But one thing like many other cases out there (even my Coolermaster HAF932) the front panel usb/audio jacks have poor build quality. The headphone jacks was stuck once plugged in, had to use force to pull it out. Other than that, great product with plenty of airfow. Solid for budget build.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: Not solid, not square, PSU bottom mounted

Pros: Cheap, good airflow
Comment:
Bought this for a spare parts build, a sandbox. I had to force my MB into place which isn't good. It's not quite square. The tool-less system works and holds well, but all the pressure's on the plugs. They'll eventually break. Screws are easy access tho. Don't like power on the bottom. It made the cpu power inaccessible while mounted, and stretching cords over vid cards and under coolers is lots of fun. Great air flow. Fan is on the noisy side. It is what it is.

Cons: -Not big enough in certain areas

Pros: -Good quality for a cheap price
Comment:
This is a great case for a good price. Fans are well placed, although I find that sometimes they can get in the way of other motherboard parts. If I could buy again I would probably spend the extra money to step up to a different case though. However, for the price this is a good product.

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: dust magnetfeels cheap when you handle the case

Pros: no tools needed to add or remove drivesvery cheapnot too big but enough space insidequality / price
Comment:
I bought this case for a normal use desktop computer.I bought it during a weekly special and it was very cheap. The case feels really cheap when you handle it but it gets the job done. Good thing that the power supply needs to be installed at the bottom or I fear the case would actually crumble under the weight. You have a very thin layer of space to do some cable management but nothing impressive. The blue led fan at the rear is a plus but it is quite useless. It's very quiet though. I do not hear any noise while standing 2 feet away from it.

Cons: Side panels a little thin

Pros: Looks goodInexpensiveGood air flow
Comment:
This case is a good size with plenty of room inside. I like the tool-less mounting for hard drives and optical drives. The drives are held securely. The inside of case is painted black which gives it a nice finished look. It comes with only one fan installed on the rear panel which is very quiet with a blue LED. Air flow through the case is excellent. The chassis is sturdy although the side panels are a bit thin. It's quite an attractive case. For the price, this case is very good and I'd use it again for economical builds.

Comment:
I really enjoyed building with this case and the looks thereafter were very appealing. It's well vented obviously and the bottom mount PSU with venting on bottom is nice. Quick attach HD mounts etc...wouldn't rely on them if I were Lan boxing this thing to parties though..use screws. I'd but this again...customer was very pleased!

Thermaltake CASE VM30001W2Z V4 MID TOWER BLACK WINDOW 40 RETAIL
Cons: PSU unit on the bottom is not ideal when the case is going on the ground.

Pros: Plenty of air holes all over the placeComes with a blue-led fanscrewless mounting is fun
Comment:
For the price, a fun casing. Quite strong, good framing, not overly heavy, nice-looking. There are a TON of aeration holes all over the place, so it can be hard to create  a regulated airflow unless you load it with fans (add 4 fans if you want to cover all the places). I am still debating if a bottom-mounted PSU is a good or stupid idea, but at this time, it works. There is also a spot for a SSD without need of brackets.
