Handles heat like a champ. Program idles about 8º c lower then the other aftermarket cpu cooler I had. dual 120mm fans, excellent.five 8mm heatsink, great. No visible copper, possibly plated?! idk.**anything else constructive posted by other owners is likely accurate** of course it's huge. If you have ram with heatsinks, you might want to appear else where, It's likely gonna cover a couple of up.... I have some ripjaw sticks that Pretty much wouldn't operate. But I managed to fit the initial slot behind the edge of the front fan... Just barely! its a pretty normal design, BUT it's literally scaled up to manage the 220w range. And some pretty plastic added for effect, I guess. It's size is a double edged blade.... If you got the space do it! if not... sorry bro, end of story.

More than all good product, nice attributes and the name says it all... but some concerns...(see beneath) Can't use 2nd FAN - hitting memory chip with heat sink. Thermaltake need to know greater when deigning. This leaves that you are not utilizing the whole attributes of the product. I recommend Thermaktake to make slim fan on the other side had been it will not on the way to hit memory chip. It is Huge but now-a-days that what it is. Hope some day ALL these would sink to small and efficient.

Functions fantastic at keeping almost everything cool. Generates a ton of airflow. Directions could've been greater. I wasn't certain which way the extra fan goes on due to the fact directions had been a tiny diagram for it and that was it. Extremely significant and quite loud. The loudest of my 8 fans. Comes with a lot of parts considering that it is compatible with pretty much every single mobo.

Keeps my I7-2600K cool. At 4.five/ghz, beneath Prime 95, she stayed around 63/c. With a space temp around 21/c. Idles about the 30/c mark. Contrary to what some have stated, it does cover the very first RAM slot if a fan is installed on that side. Read below. Keep in mind this comes with two fans. The 2nd 1 you install. I'm employing an Asus P8P67 Deluxe board. It may possibly be different depending on the board, but mine will not enable the initially RAM slot to be utilized if your RAM has a tall cooler on it. I'm making use of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB ƒ x 4GB). With a very low profile RAM cooler, you could likely slip it in prior to putting in the fan. I'm making use of only 1 fan (between the cooler and rear fan) with great success and low noise. I'll also add, watch your Pc case dimensions. I've read that some smaller cases have situation with the cooler bumping or sitting up against the side panel. I'm employing a CM HAF 922 with a lot of space.

Operates amazingly, and pretty effortless set up. High, Medium, Low switch on the cords to the fans... makes things... tough. I swapped out the fans for two others without having the switches and utilized a Y adapter for hook up. Wants to incorporate the Y adapter in the packaging and this unit looks good with red LEDs in the fans!

- Does a awesome job at cooling the CPU- Second fan included for push-pull configuration- fans move a lot of air - Installtion directions are truly fairly simple to follow if you read it over & adhere to the actions IN ORDER- Rubber screws for fans = much less/no vibration & noise- Mounting brackets & screws for various sockets. A backplate is inlcuded for AM3- The base-plate is properly produced; one particular word: FLAT!- Black & Red colour scheme is a excellent touch (if your whole Pc is balc & red coloured)- nobs for every fan to adjust fan speed- Well packaged; cooler is in two-halves of foam to protect it. I'm confident it will be undamaged even if you drop it from 7-ft in the air.- Price? Bought it from yet another dealer (sorry NewEgg) a little ahead of X-mas for ๛ (after-rebate) for this cooler and HAF 932 case. Good price tag; essentially giving the cooler for totally free and a modest discount for the case. - Rubber screws had been a bit of a discomfort if you adhere to the instruction guide on how to install them...because it doesn't operate. You have to leave a bit of space betwwen the fan & mount. The you pull on the rubber screws till they are thin and lengthy; than push the fan in. Do that 4 occasions.- This cooler is enormous! May well block 1 or 2 of your RAM slots. RAM with tall coolers with be an concern. My initially RAM slot for my ASUS Crosshair IV Formula Mobo was blocked. I'm working with G.Skill Ripjaws also, so there was no way to use the initially slot. Was nevertheless able to use the other slots and in a position to run dual-channel.- Loud when fans are running at full speed. You usually only will need to run it on low or medium, but if you do run the fans on high; cover your ears. Even on low these fans push A LOT of air. They are also quiet also. On high, hey are loud. Operating my Phenom II 1090T at stock 9haven't had time to OC it yet) operating Prime95 for five hours and temps never ever reach greater than 34-35C.Rig set-up:- Cooler Master HAF 932- Phenom II 1090T AM3 CPU (stock ATM)- Thermaltake Frio Cooler (with push-pull config)- ASUS Crosshair IV Formula 890FX Mobo- 8GB ƒ X 4GB) G.Skill DDR3 1600Mhz RAM- Corsair TX 850W PSU- XFX Radeon HD 5850- WD Caviar Black 1TB HD- LiteOn DVD-RW Drive- W7 Ultimate 64-bit

Attempt leaving the installed fan and just not putting on the 2nd fan. I was in a position to leave the second fan off and use my Ram cooler fans. Every little thing fits excellent.

relitivly quient, decent cost, and keeps my CPU cold. not cool, cold. i OC'd to four.7ghz on my 2600k and i get and unimaginable 24C idle, and 50-55C under load, with fan on its lowest settings. Its a bit big, but not seriously an problem, due to the fact the cover, although not quite "beautiful", masks the size when you look at it, although it does cover 2 mem slots on the p8p67 mobo.also I realized that the backplate doesn't very fit with my mobo, but cna very easily be taken care of by a modest washer. I say, maintain this on its lowest settings. There is small to no difference in between its highest and its lowest speeds, other then noise.great obtain imo

Ideal air cooling out there. I'm running an i5-2500K at stock voltages and the stock heatsink had it IDLING at 52-54C. I installed the Frio with only a single fan at about 1800RPM (a tiny a lot more than halfway up) and saw my idle temps drop and remain at about 28-30C. If I was in a position to fit the second fan on it, I have no doubt I'd see yet another 6-ten degree drop in temps, even far more with greater RPM's.The universal bracket system is also exceptional and straightforward to set up. Included thermal grease is always great and appears to be performing nicely. This thing seriously is a great package deal for <์.The out-of-box config for this is that it has 1 fan mounted in a "push" config with the intention that you'll have it push air from the front to the back of the case. I switched the fan to the other side in a "pull" position so I could use all of my RAM slots (see other thoughts) and am obtaining my temps down ㅑC, so I wouldn't worry about performance loss going from push to pull See other thoughts. I can't truly call them con's due to the fact they're to be expected to some degree:-Incredibly big. This is required to have an air cooler drop CPU temps close to 30C so I can't say I wasn't expecting it, but it does irk me a bit that I'll shed a DIMM slot if I had been to set up the second fan. I'm utilizing an ASUS P8P67 Pro, so other motherboards may not have this concern (chances are though , most will).-Loud adequate to be annoying if you have it on a 2000RPM+ setting (so about 65%+ of the max) in a quiet room. If you have a devoted Computer space even though or you don't mind the hum of Computer/server fans then it's not a major deal. If you keep the RPM's below 1800 it's drastically quieter and, as I said int he pros, performs like a beast nevertheless.Keeping those two things in thoughts, this is nevertheless an great cooler with a ton of power for an air cooled system. Chances are that if you're searching at this, you're an enthusiast or a gamer anyways and the size/noise isn't even going to bother you.

Amazing cooling solution for the AMD 1090T Six-Core Processor. I necessary something to replace my old Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro, it was simply not capable of keeping the 1090T cool at anything over a mild overclock. The install was quite easy, though time consuming, see Cons for additional data. When I fired my method up I was amazed as the temperature differences. 3.6GHz idle temps at 2000 RPM are about 18C (ambient) and below Prime95 for 1 hour is by no means went more than 33C. So plenty of space for overclocking. Both fans operating at about 2000 RPM is quite, at least compared to the rest of my case. This Cooler Master HAF 932 is running 6 case fans on leading of all the other hardware. At about 2500 RPM it get considerably louder. Whilst at 1300 RPM it's silent. I will be running mine at 2000RPM.Fantastic develop excellent. Looks great in my case. The price tag to efficiency ratio on this great considering the price of many other high-end air cooling solutions obtainable. The cause the install was time consuming was I felt safer removing my motherboard and installing it that way, even though my case is equipped with access to the motherboard CPU back plate like quite a few other people. This cooler is heavy, UPS shipping weight was five.40 lbs. I just did not want to take any probabilities on damaging my other hardware throughout the installation course of action. This cooler is also quite massive, like many other individuals, and calls for a fantastic amount of headroom. So make sure you have space in your case just before ordering. Even in my HAF 932 Full Tower, the leading of the cooler is only couple of centimeters from the side panel fan, and this is a really huge case with a lot of space. The rheostat controls for the fans are on extremely brief wires. With each fans installed, it's most likely to cover 1 or much more of your RAM slots. Not a problem unless you use RAM with tall fin coolers. Mine does not, see Other Thoughts.None of these are cons in my opinion, just points individuals may possibly want to be conscious of. Hunting for an affordable cooler for the 1090T with all the overclocking headroom you will need? Looks like you just identified it. I would extremely recommend it to any person! Now I can OC this 1090T like I had originally intended when I purchased it.

When researching what I wanted for my new pc and searching at critiques for the mobo and cpu that I ended up obtaining numerous of the reviews talked favorably about this cooler, and it has lived up to expectations. My Asus mobo is auto-overclocking my cpu at 3.7 ghz and just 32 degrees with this cooler and just one fan (second one particular doesnt fit in my case) I know I could push it higher, but don't need to have to. The only actual con that I have is that this cooler comes with connectors for many diverse sockets, which is a very good factor, but they are not labeled quite effectively and the included directions are fairly poor. I did not realize I required to eliminate the stuff from the motherboard that was intended to have the stock fan installed onto it. Not huge enough of a deal to eliminate an egg, but it can be confusing. A couple other points that you may want to know prior to purchasing this is that this is a quite huge cpu cooler, it doesn't appear as huge in the pic as it essentially is. I could not fit the second fan on simply because my ram was in the way, a lot more of a con for the mobo, but there isnt really anywhere else on the board for it. A different factor to be conscious of is that the power cord has 3 pins and the mobo connector for the cpu fan is 4 pins so it doesnt fit there. I plugged it into a 4 pin connector elsewhere on the board, but then I had to change the bios so that it did not give me a cpu fan error message. Warning -- The 1st preinstalled fan blocks the very first memory bank slot on my Rampage III Formula MB.Adjustable fan speed can get noisy when you crank it to full max specially with two fans. It's huge, make positive you have a lot of space in your case.

My AMD Phenom 1090t x6 was pushing 60 degrees C when playing Dragon Age: Origins and was about 50 degrees C when playing Oblivion. 1 day it spiked to 64 and that didn't make me too happy. I did my investigation, saw that this cooler was rated incredibly well, and purchased/installed it. Now, when playing my games, I haven't noticed it get to a lot more than a degree or two above 40. The quantity of air that this factor pushes/pulls is ridiculous! A lot of air getting moved.Attached to the fans on the cooler are some fan manage knobs. I can quite effortlessly turn the fans on low-high based on whether I will need them on full blast. So far, I've never ever required to put them greater than 60% fan speed. The size is fairly huge. I knew this obtaining it, nonetheless, I wasn't prepared for it.. lol it was virtually 4x larger than my stock amd cooler. Just make certain that it is going to fit in your case ahead of time. (see other thoughts) I feel it's most likely due to the layout of my MSI 870a fuzion motherboard, but when I turned it all on, I identified that the best case fan was clipping the CPU cooler. I have a CM Storm Scout case, and I checked on the net to see if other persons have had this problem with this case and cooler combo, and no one seemed to have a challenge. They all stated it was a close fit but that they got it in there. If the cooler had been (seriously) a millimeter lower, I think it would be fine. So once again, just check the sizing of your case. I have a mid-tower, so if you have a full-tower there surely really should not be a difficulty.

Dual fan controllers. Comes with TG-1 Grease. Honestly persons told me it would sound be like a hurricane. I can't hear it over my case fans unless it's at full speed. Keeping a three.06 bloomfield OC'd to four.1 cool at about 40c with the fans at about 75% speed. It's obscenely enormous, and may possibly cover ram slots. Sit's pretty on my X58 Sabertooth. This is my initially aftermarket cooling solution and I am amazed beyond belief. I had high expectations, but this thing surpassed them all. It is a monster of a cooler, but it shouldn't be a negative if you care about the life of your cpu. Setting it up to fit my AM3 socket was a breeze, as properly as installing it (I had my girlfriend hold the mobo in location over the best of the cooler even though I snugged the back plate in location). I had my cpu overclocked 300mhz on my stock cooler with load temps in the 50C - 55C range. Right after installing this cooler and growing my overclock to 700mhz, it stays around 35C with the fans set in the medium range. The Arctic Silver hasn't even set in, but.Cheap value, but pricey quality. None. If you are thinking about shopping for this cooler, I would very advise it to everyone not searching to mix liquid and electronics. You need to consider the size and if it will fit in the case, or just getting a bigger case all together. In my case (Storm Scout), it fit perfectly with no much more space for the top side window fan. I had no concerns with my Hyper X RAM fitting under it.

I purchased this cooler with the intent of utilizing it on a P67-B3 motherboard. I ended up purchasing the ASRock Extreme 6 motherboard with the Core i5-2500K CPU. The cooler has really very good create excellent and looks quite nice. It was uncomplicated to install. Note that it can't be installed when the motherboard is installed in your case, at least not in my Antec 900. I have but to try overclocking my CPU, and don't think I will with this cooler. Read the cons below. Ok, now to explain. This cooler is huge, as other people have stated. This cooler won't work nicely with my setup so I've ordered the Cooler Master Hyper N 520 as a replacement. The ASRock Extreme 6 motherboard has heat sinks that surround the CPU socket. The heat sink closest to the PCIE slot appears to touch the Frio's heat pipes. I also have 4, two gigabyte G.Skill Ripjaw memory modules installed. I had to use my Dremel tool on the bottom of the 120mm fan so it would clear the memory module. This won't be a issue with memory that has a lower profile heat sink. I have to say the 4 Ripjaw modules appear cool! Lastly, my Antec 900 case is a bit two narrow for this cooler. I had to eliminate the side intake fan and the clear plastic that holds the fan in place. I will hang onto the Frio for another build. I'm certain it will operate fine with other motherboard / case combo. It just isn't the ideal cooler for this develop.Even though the Frio doesn't fit my needs I still gave it 5 Eggs since there is nothing incorrect with the cooler design itself. Just plan ahead far better than I did.
