Comment:
I hardly hear the fans operating at all. In particular the 230mm fan on the side. Complete case keeps every little thing quiet and awesome. Asthetically pleasing. Fairly Bright blue lights. Make sure to open the gaurds on the front or the CD-rom will not open appropriately. Reasonably effortless to assemble almost everything. All points effortlessly accessable. Lots of space for far more drives. All around impressed with the situation. The expansion cards tabs that hold the expansion vehicles into location on the inside of the case, are a little fragile. Had to get rid of the tabs for my video card. Ended up breaking two of them. The front panel is a small loose. Pulls off very quickly. After the unit is in place, need to not ahve to be concerned about touching it and front panel fall off. mobo: ASUS M4A78-E cpu: AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb three.0GHzram: Kingston HyperX T1 Series 4GB ƒ x 2GB) vga: SAPPHIRE 100259-1GL Radeon HD 4870 hd: Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB situation: Thermaltake Armor+MX psu: ZALMAN ZM750-HP 750W Continuous

Comment:
Beautiful situation. Mostly Solid perform. Back end on the best sticks out with a sticker saying "This is not a handle". I don't actually realize why they would not make it flush. Say's go to the web page for technical specifications. It doesn't cover every little thing. The front cover comes off at the bottom and I can't figure out how to get the leading off. It feels like I'm going to break it if I pull too tricky. Also when I attempt to snap the front panel back on, the leading will not go all the way in causing the correct front "wing" to stick and not fold properly. Left side moves fine. Non-window side of situation doesn't use thumb screws, so access with screw driver. Kinda lame. A filter on the side window fan would be great.

Comment:
Very effortless assembly, finding the tough drive bays out is a snap. This is a quite roomy case, I had two pretty big graphics cards that fit in it just fine. All of the front connectors are in fact on the top but close to the front, so they're really uncomplicated to access when you have your situation below your desk. I would hate to take this case to a LAN celebration, there are a lot of components on the front and sides that snap out extremely effortlessly every time I move the situation. Personally I have a laptop I use for LAN parties so this isn't a massive deal, but if you'll travel with it a lot, hold that in mind. All in all, a excellent case; I have been happy with it so far.

Comment:
I purchased this case mainly due to the "Shell Shocker" price and didn't plan on writing a review considering that this was my initial new create. I wouldn't know what to compare it with. The reviews on the net didn't genuinely give me high expectations. Anything from "how difficult or the expansion slot clips functioned", to how the "psu mounting holes where not aligned" where all either corrected or the reviewers had no patients to understand how almost everything worked. Just about every single hole lined up perfectly that I didn't have to use a Dremel or file.So this situation dose anything that what I bought it for quite, really properly so I had to give my rating. The air gets pushed though is so nicely managed that even it dosen't have time to get slightly warm! A lot of room! I really like how effortless anything goes in and out. Incredibly effectively engineered situation! This case seriously deserves 4.75 stars because all is not best. With a 贬 situation each and every issue should function perfectly, and packaged with care. The only difficulties I had was the headphone socket is fully loose or I'm not certain if there is even a single below the plastic cover, and in the exact same location there was tape residue (nothing citrus cleaner couldn't remove!). Wish it had a fast disconnect for the just the LED's! I genuinely didn't care for it's style and can't stand the LED's, I just can't knock it because I knew what I was getting. As soon as I opened it the style is not that undesirable. Now I will need to get rid of the LED's from the huge fan.ALSO, the situation is Large! It was way bigger than what I had expected for a mid sized case to be. It tends to make my 22" monitor appear like a 19". So genuinely you will wan't to grab a tape measurer. Offered space was not a problem, just it filled up most of what I had reserved for it!I actually wouldn't have regarded this situation given that it was out of my spending budget, just soon after owning it I would truly advocate it to everyone. -----------------------------------------------------------------------My Initial CreateAMD Phenom II X4 945 Asus M4A78T-E 790GXG.Skill 2GBx2 ddr3 (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ)Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon 4850Corsair 550 psuThermaltake Armor+MX

I wasn't so sure about this case when I purchased it, but I'm really pleased with it. I love the storage area up top rated, I like the metal wings on the side to obstruct but not totally block the view of the front. As I can simply access my fan controller and the DVD drives can push open the wings when the drive opens. I upgraded the intake and exit fans to a 25mm 1900 RPM Slythe(Intake) and a 38mm 3000 RPM Slythe(Exit) It tends to make the airflow great but a fan controller is needed, due to the fact it's so loud. The situation fits a Prolimatech CPU cooler even with the 230 mm fan on the side by about 1-two cm. The situation looks very cool after the fingerprint smudges are removed. Cable management was not bad at all, I was shocked how a lot space there was to tuck cables out of the way. I wish there was a bit a lot more space among the front fan and the HDD bay for a 38 mm fan. Only a 25mm will fit at the moment. Mounting holes for a leading mounted fan would be nice. I haven't tried yet, but modding it may well be feasible. I would like to take the lights off or replace the 230mm fan on the side. A three pin connector would have been good to have for the side fan. This wasn't enough to eliminate an egg.

Every little thing! This factor is built like a tank - definitely! I even named it "Tank". It is an particularly solid case except for the "handle" - IT IS NOT A Manage! It even says "Not a Manage"! The tricky drive case problem - not enough area for cables on the opposing side of the case - is not actually an problem if you are utilizing SATA challenging drives. I would not even try using IDE due to the lack of space. Also, using the 90 degree SATA cables truly assists out.Air flow is great. Along with the large fan on the side of the case, I am running three 120mm Scythe fans. No troubles with temps and the case has been in operation for more than a year.Construct is Apevia Iceberg 680W, XFX 750A Mobo, AMD 9550 Phenom x4, 2 x EVGA 8800GS in SLI, 2 DVD Burners, 1 BDROM drive, 2 x 1TB WD Caviar Green and 1 x 500GB WD Caviar Black, Windows 7 64-bit. None! Properly, unless you move your case around a lot! It does way A LOT. It's a trade-off though. It is built like a tank so it has weight like a tank! If you want a light case, dont acquire 1 that is built like this! Greatest case I have ever owned, hands down! I have most likely built ㅑ computer systems!

Awesome space, It truly does fantastic on space due to the fact I put a ASUS P5N-D in it along with an SLI setup, 8GB of the OCZ reaper and the liquid cooling package that thermaltake sells for this series of cases. Everything fits with no concerns and the fans actually push out fairly a big quantity of air, its kinda of strandge that the rear fan is red in color but its not an situation. The HDD bracket does not leave a good quantity of space for the cables, you will need to purchase angled sata cables for the difficult drives due to the fact its way also tight of a fit for the drives. The leading of the case has a gloss coat so of course you'll clean it off and a day later it will be covered in dust once more. The top compartment is quite handy in storing all of the crucial driver disks that i have for the method. And it could anlso hold usb drivers the home drivers. (and your secret stash) For the cost range this case cant be beat!

I love the look of the case. It has plenty of space, and a fantastic price. The customer service sucks. I have had three of the four tricky drive holders break on me (the worst part of the case). I have filed a warranty claim more than a month ago, but I have had no response. I even emailed them to check on it last week, and nevertheless absolutely nothing. The 230mm fan is way also loud. You will need to have a fan controller. Why they place a red fan in the back of the case, i don't know, but I can generally change it. If Thermaltake reads this, you need to have to contact your buyers. It is pathetic.

wonderful layout for hdd and disc drives. cable management functions well with a little patience. best tray is nice to have. MB holes are labeled for atx and m-atx. five stars for the layout and construction side fan does not move much air at all. Substantially less than my ฟ thermaltake exhaust. Front intake moves even less air. Am having a difficult time locating a replacement for the side fan. Incredibly disappointed with the airflow of this case, certainly created with water cooling in mind. three stars for cooling possible. I did not get this via newegg considering that a local retailer had it for cheaper. this was a replacement for a xclio a380plus, which is a fantastic case for air cooling. I had to replace the xclio mainly because it isnt wide enough for a 120mm cpu heatsink. The biggest I could get to fit was a thermalright ultima 90 and I am replacing that with a ultra chilltec.

I have never written a evaluation on newegg, but I was so impressed with this item that I felt like I was bound to spread the word about this case's excellence. Very first of all, this case has a ton of room. It fit the skateboard-sized Radeon 5850 with ease and there is a lot of room on best of the cpu for a 3rd party cpu cooler. The huge case fan on the side genuinely moves a lot of air, but it creates a ton of noise and im going to want to plug it into the motherboard so i can regulate its speed. General , the fans perform fantastic and my computer stays surprisingly cool even its doing demanding work. The LEDs on the fans appear excellent. The removable difficult drive slots are seriously handy, and the truth that you can get rid of the hard drive cage makes installation a breeze. The storage compartment on the leading is big enough to fit CDs in, and i use it to shop all of my CDs with drivers on them. The motherboard screws were a small bit confusing to figure out (it could just be me...)One particular of the rubber pieces on the bottom of the case that it stands on fell off when I moved the pcIt is a small bit tough to keep the wires out of the way of the enormous fan on the side, but can be remedied by a myriad of zip ties

Outstanding case. Excellent layout and whilst it doesn't supply too a lot for actual cable management you can conceal them if you're intelligent enough to in fact see the hiding spots and zip tie them or loom them down. Also looks wonderful! Not so significantly of a con, but it's bigger than it looks in the image and I can'y truly trust the tool-much less PCI retainers but you can nevertheless tie them down with typical screws. Comes with all the gear you require in terms of standoffs and tie downs.

This tower is certainly good. The side fan and back fan are all I need to have to maintain this beast cool. My video card never gets hot and I run at complete res at all occasions(EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express two. x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card) Window side of tower is straightforward to remove so it makes it a lot easier to move points about inside. There is actually nothing major about this tower that I can see as a unfavorable. I enjoy this tower and I would buy another one. I want to make sure I cover practically something in this assessment so I do have to post the cons even if they are barely cons at all. It is a midsized tower even even though it is huge, so I had a little difficulty fitting my video card in, but I got it in with out getting to do some customizing of my own, not positive if that's even a con due to the fact I had to take an added couple of minutes to fit it in but at the very same time I liked that it fit just appropriate produced it feel like it was created for this tower.. Other con is its fairly heavy, but what do you expect look at this beast. These 2 cons should not actually have substantially of an influence on your acquire of this tower Fantastic tower

I really love the looks of the case but the cable management inside the case could be a bit much better. I actually wanted to see a fan manage for this price since the fans blow a lot of air but are not as silent as some individuals say. I would also appreciate to see the interior painted black. I wouldn't thoughts paying extra for that. I would advise the case to any individual, but a far better searching one particular would be a Cooler Master Sniper (Black interior) mainly because they both price the identical and the other case has some characteristics that this one particular is missing.

Big case... practically a complete tower ... looks attractive ! Has lots of room but could be superior if it had additional space on the side cover for cable management. Also, If you have a Gigabyte Ga-x58 variety MOBO you will not be in a position to use your bottom PCIe slot lead to you run out of space and could get vid cards hot. And to answer one persons question about he CoolerMaster V8 .... I believed it would fit as well... misses by 2mm ! SO.... I mounted the 230mm fan on the OUTSIDE of the case ! Wonderful air flow to all the appropriate spots. Fans are seriously quiet for as massive as they are. 230mm fan on the side looks like they stuck a little ceiling fan in it compaired to my old 80mm fan.Movable PSU bridge makes it easy to fit any PSU you want in there. Case is liquid cooling prepared.Removable five drive bay is nifty, and plenty of space for more if you need it. UBS plugs on the top rated make it simple to access jump drives. The "non-deal with" that is labled "This is not a manage" on the back that is so conviently grabbed just about every time you move it around. My thought - Reinforce that and make it a deal with. Lots of room for a mid tower.Extremely sturdy and solid.Great characteristics and cooling.Really straightforward to create in and hide the wiring. If adequately done the inside looks great.Did not encounter sharp edges. (no scraped knuckles)The finished product looks extremely sharp. These are extremely picky cons:The shiny black material looks excellent but draws dust quickly. The Flip bars on front can be a nuisance. In this case excellent cooling means a lot dust.Big fan on acrylic side panel is a small loud. I used this case on a construct for a customer to use in his enterprise. Even though the lights are a small vibrant for a small business atmosphere he likes it really substantially. This is possibly one of the finest situations I have had the pleasure to operate with. I spent a small much more time than typical to work the wires and it was well worth it. Practically the only wire that is noticeable by means of the window is the 24 pin primary. The images do not show you but on the appropriate side of the case the is a significant opening at the front that allows you to run most wires including the additional power lines (left zip tied and dangling) without having becoming seen. I liked this case so significantly I am acquiring 1 for my own individual construct and will in all probability upgrade my fathers case to the very same. It is well worth the money.
