Thermaltake VH8000BWS Armor+ MX ATX Mid-Tower Case - 230mm Fan
Comment:
None, except for the Thermaltake brand name Cheap construction. not my type. I'd pay a little extra to get something more sturdy. I ended up with Cooler Master Cosmos S.

Nice design, but very large
Comment:
This is a well built case, looks pretty cool and has room to fit anything you want, in fact that is why I am not giving it all 5's, it is a giant of a case, and I got the smaller one. just know this will not be sitting ON any desk, maybe next to it, or on a pallet, but not on top of the desk that is for sure.

Very nice!
Comment:
I love how the case is designed with eventual liquid cooling in mind. And the ease of adding hard drives and other components is awesome. No fussing with screws. Everything has simple clips holding them in place. The big 230mm fan was very loud and basically blew hot air from my graphics card onto the MB chipset so I flipped the fan around and now it's very quiet and actually does it's job. Having controllable fans would have been nice too. My only real complaint is it can get a little tight in there. My Geforce GTX 260 almost doesn't fit and all the cables from my power supply take up a lot of room in there too.

Junk
Comment:
I paid a lot of money for this case, and did not even get to use it, so many problems with it , I just turned around and bought a new one, still in the box 260.00 down the pipes, I won't buy anymore products from this manufacture, same trouble with thier liquid cool system(JUNK).

dude something is wrong with you! You have an x58 and you are trying to install it in this case? You should have bought Armor full tower like i did the X58 is an Extended ATX form factor not ATX and for that you want to throw it in the dumpster? Are you crazy, better yet call me up and I'll gladly take it off you n00b

Can't complain
Comment:
This case is excelent for the money. The fans are very practical but can be a bit loud. Overal the case rocks, however cable managment can be a bit tough if your mobo has the sata plugs coming out sideways. But with a bit of determination it can be worked out.

terrible case for i7 build
Comment:
I bought this case for a new i7 build and have had nothing but problems. The first problem is the hard drive holder, once you connect the usb and sata power cables and push hard drive into place the back of hard drive is to close to the side panel and puts a bind on cables.I broke the hard drive retainer for usb cable. The second problem is hard drive cage is to close to edge of motherboard.I have evga x58sli and the usb ports are on side of motherboard, again putting usb cables into a bind.My computer will not boot at times because usb cable is bent so much it doesnt recognize components.I have to play with usb cable and then it will recognize and boot.I love thermaltake but not this case for this build.I built another computer with thermaltake v9 black edition and have had no issues.Buy the v9,I am going to buy another v9 and swap out cases and throw this into the dumpster.

Great looking case
Comment:
What a monster case :) Great looking, tonnes of room to work with, but this case loves dust (well, maybe that's just my room, LoL). I'm not sure about the side fan though ... I think its rpm is a bit too low as it didn't make a difference to my setup, except for the added noise.

a solid case
Comment:
this is an awesome case, I especially love the 230mm fan although baecause of the fans the case sure gets dirty quickly, I have to clean it monthly to make it seem clean.

Pretty good case but some details bug you
Comment:
Overall it's a great case, I love the snap in slider rails for the HDs and and DVD but beware the manual is not that great at explaining it. Also the plastic molded PC Card holding widgets that take the place of the screws for mounting the pc cards inside the pciexpress slots are not that strong and in the end they were too lose so I had to use a screw. Nice idea but bad execution. The Fans are not all MB controlled so that can be an issue if you are wanting to have more control of that.

great case
Comment:
I love this case. It looks and works great. This is a big case, but be careful there isn't a whole lot of room for video cards. I have a xfx4870, and it just barly fits in the case.

Thermaltake VH8000BWS Armor+ MX ATX Mid-Tower Case - 230mm Fan
Comment:
Pros: This case is definitely a cool case in both senses. It looks cool and keeps my parts cool. The toolless parts of the case are easy to use and offer spots for screws to go in as extra support for those of us who like things tight and safe. Cons: The case is pretty loud but I guess it does have a 230mm fan which is really hard to find a replacement fan if you want to control the fan speed. The fans are only two cord fans so you cannot control fan speed. It also comes with an off red turbo fan, why not silver or black I don't know. All in all I love this case.

Thermaltake VH8000BWS Armor+ MX ATX Mid-Tower Case - 230mm Fan
Comment:
First rate. Sleek design, well constructed. Layout and non screw click locks for all peripherals is well done. The only downer I have is having purchased and EVGA board, the way all the hard drives sit, all the sata cords, motherboard cords and power cords seem to snake through a space meant for a piece of paper. So it took some engineering. But I would buy again, just would get a modular power supply to cut back on some cords and get a much smaller cpu fan. The Thermaltake fan I purchased, is within cm of bumping the side fan. This was on Thermaltakes suggestion funny enough. But over all a fine product well worth purchasing.

Thermaltake VH8000BWS Armor+ MX ATX Mid-Tower Case - 230mm Fan
Comment:
Amazing Case! however i only have a few minor gripes with this case hence giving it a 4 out of 5 on qaulity. the side 23cm fan is very noisy, and the HDD activity LED is very dim in comparison to the power LED, however overall and amazing buy! very easy to install components and lots of room to work with in my opinion. highly recommend!

Thermaltake VH8000BWS Armor+ MX ATX Mid-Tower Case - 230mm Fan
Comment:
Just bought this case by reading the reviews here. Had a hell of a time installing the cables to the hard drives, but it's much easier if you have Sata cables. I also likes the feature where you don't have to use screws to hold down the hard drives or pci cards in place. As for the noise the fans make, I didn't hear it shake , rattle or roll, just the humming sound that all fans make. It's pretty cool how the color of the fans indicate the flow of the air it travels into the case and out. Overall I'm quite happy with this case.

Thermaltake VH8000BWS Armor+ MX ATX Mid-Tower Case - 230mm Fan
Comment:
wicked looking case, very solid construction, lights and clear side are beast. i like the bezel cuz it looks better than a flat one, but it's easier to get into than the ones that completely cover all the 5.25's. only issues are that the side fan is noisy, and it's cramped for space in a couple of areas. i had to remove my harddrive cage to get my gpu to fit, i've got the xfx 9800 gtx+ and it's pretty massive. also, it's a pain to attach cables to drives with the cage installed. if you've got a big video card, go with the full tower, otherwise, this case is great for anyone. one other thing, the 3.5 on the front is too high up, i got a floppy/card reader, and the usb header won't reach to the bottom of the mobo where it needs to be. just bear that in mind.

Comment:
let me just start off with saying, HOLY CRAP! my last computer that i built was a XPC Shuttle, yeah it sucked! but this case, WOW! these tool less drive bays are amazing and easy as heck to use. it has a Lil noise to it, do to the 230mm fan, but hey its worth it. The up side, this computer runs nice and cool under an all night stress test with a 1.8 dual core Intel overclocked to 2.4! and if this isn't big enough for you? look at the full tower model :D amazing, anyways, 100% recommendation!!!! ill write another review after i game with it for a couple months

I finished setting up my new gaming pc over the weekend and this case is just what I needed. It provides GREAT air flow and has lots of room for a Mid Tower case. Also, the tool free drives are pretty neat.
