I went from 512 to 2 gb. My computer is a little faster but hard to tell since I do not do many things that would show the improvement except changing programs. I am happy just not jumping for joy.

I live in Brazil, and was needing to do a memory upgrade. My wife was going to the States, so I ordered the memory. I was a little hesitant because I wasn't familiar with this name brand. Installed a 1GB memory card into each of two Acer computers running Windows XP. This brought the total memory to 1.5GB in each. Both machines now run much faster and open pages quicker. A cheap fix vs two new computers.
