Trendnet 54MBPS Wireless 802.11b/g USB Adapter 2.4GHZ Wep Wpa
Cons:none so far

Pros:Good speedsCheap after pricematchHaven't lost connection yet
Comment:
I got the drivers straight from Realtek after taking advice from other customer reviews and it works great. Like all wireless adapters, I had to tweak the rwin and optimize the adapter using speedguides TCP optimizer. Haven't had a lot of time with it, but I haven't had any dropped connections yet.Comes with flexible USB cord, driver disc and manual. I didn't even use the disc as mentioned above, and I'm just using windows wireless network software.Haven't tested the range yet, but this will just be a floor below my router. It runs a little warm, not sure if this is going to be a problem. But so far so good.

Trendnet 54MBPS Wireless 802.11b/g USB Adapter 2.4GHZ Wep Wpa
Cons:Poor connectivity using stock driver

Pros:Easy installationDecent speed and range
Comment:
Got this to join a desktop in an adjacent room to the WLAN. Very simple to install (it is USB...) but after loading the stock driver/software, it would disconnect from the WLAN after every 30 mins or so. Removing the Trendnet wireless software and using Windows wireless configuration helped somewhat, but the update d Realtek drivers installed by Windows update  have since given this adapter the operation and performance that you would expect from it.

Cons:None.

Pros:Compatible and easy to setup.
Comment:
Can't really say enough how much this has saved me alot of headaches. I do alot of onsite IT work and can't tell you how many times I've had to run a new line in someone's home because their second computer needed network access breifly. It's nice to be able to pop this into someone's laptop, or desktop, install the drivers and have instant net access. Do yourself a favour though and if you're in need of a wireless nic for your desktop permanently, buy a PCI Wireless Network Adapter instead; these tend to get quite hot via USB and I have known a couple to get fried.
