Functions reliably and is plug and play with Win 7 64-bit. More than 4 years of trusted wifi on a teenager's computer system. Can not beat this for the price tag!! Flip cap gets in the way (I removed it). The USB connector to circuit board was weak - immediately after a year on my son's personal computer, it wouldn't perform anymore. I took it apart and resoldered the connector and it has been runnning good for over two years. You can't beat this adapter for the money. I though I would replace it with a "better" linksys adapater, but it wouldn't work on the Win 7 box, I plugged the Trendnet back in and in no way looked back.

I have had comparable problems with WPA/WPA2 and XP in the previous, and I do not consider it is triggered by the wireless adapter.
