i ordered this pci card for my cvomputer which had usb 1.1, the improvement in transfer speed that this provided to my external drives was amazing. I would highly recommend this card to anyone. the only issue i had was getting installed into the motherboard as the fit was a bit tight, but was able to get it in without damaging anything

No complaints here. Installation is a breeze - just snap it in and you're good to go. Works like a champ. No hardware problems. No complaints.

At this time, I can't honestly review this product as it is not the proper type for my computer. This is an ide card, I require PCI express cards. My mistake as I didn't think to check the type card I required. I'm sure it is an excellent card for the proper motherboare. Mine is ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe.

This is a no problem card, install & it's ready to go (using Vista 32). I gave one notch down on features because no where in the description (by T.D or Ultra) does it mention the 2 interior ports are shared with an external port giving you actually 6 usable ports.

I purchased this card for my Dell Inspiron desktop. I am running Windows Vista 64 bit and finding any compatible software or hardware is not an easy task. After doing some research on line. I decided to go with this card for two reasons, the price and it's prior reviews. I have to say ''OUTSTANDING'' a true plug and go card. Vista had no problem installing the card and it has performed perfectly. ''Just buy it''

love it only wish it work in my system Con: use Floppy power plug-in come without adapter for stander (IDE) to floppy power plug connector. i use my floppy power connector still, i plug-it into the PCI card its still dead to the world. plug-in a external DVD writer USB & Mouse USB player to the USB port no good at all. Micosoft Windows Xp SP3 Home come without any software for it or flash drivers for the firmware PCI Card. support for this card from Ultra is none i would not tell any one to buy this do to no adapters for power plug-in or flash drivers so the system to know how to handle it. performance: none workable for me about ready to return this item do to it trash, i going to try to call them up monday (Ultra) to see if they have anything to say how to get this to work

Product's firewire port doesn't work for my perifiles. I do audio recording of multiple tracks simultaneously. This unit's firewire connectors just stopped working. The USB still work but I bought it for the Firewire.

Overall a very good product by a good company. I have used a lot of Ultra products. I liked how it was just plug and play with no drivers need to set it up. The only thing I had a problem with this unit is the mounting bracket for the card is very flimsy and mine was bent pretty good. I was able to straighten the bracket out but you half to be careful with it or you'll break the mounting bracket for this item.

I bought this to put in an Apple B&W G3 to primarily add another Firewire Port, but for the USB 2.0 as well. Installation was easy and the firewire port works fine with my iPod, but not the USB port, which I expected. While I have not had any issues in OS X 10.4, I found that the card does not work in OS 9 and prevents the entire USB bus from working. I have not been able to find a driver. Otherwise, this is a great card.

Very easy installtion on my Dell Inspiron/VistaOS computer. No need for additional power base. Truly plug-n-play. Rapid data transfers...
