A really good product
Comment:
I bought this with my build along with the Intel Q6700 and the Thermaltake Bigwater 760I liquid cooler. That was 2 years ago. Everything is still running strong. Especially the processor which I believe along with this paste has kept my processor nice and cool. I'm overclocked at QX6850 at 3.0 and still running at 34 C and thats with videos playing. I will buy this for my next build.

Wouldn't pay what it's worth
Comment:
I just bought this for $17.98 and see that it went down again! I agree with some of the other reviewers that the brush is a little curled. And wait until you see it. It's no bigger than a Penny! I would definitely pay full price for this product! I don't see how they can charge $27 for this.

Clunky, but it works
Comment:
Okay, i used this grease for some of my builds and to replace the compound on an older Intel P4. It goes on clunky I suggest using a card or something to spread it the brush leaves clunks which can lead to air and that is a no no. so this is ok as long as you know what your doing, not for noobs.

Clumpy
Comment:
The overall product was ok although a little lumpy.....but as for the brush, well, that looked as though it had been used for the last 10yrs and dragged through a bush backwards....it was in a terrible state which made spreading the liquid even harder than it would have been. For the price of it...not what i was expecting,i shall try another brand name next time. Overall = not recommended

Nice Idea of the brush, but bad product
Comment:
The product I had was clumpy and did not spread or stick to the CPU. It was like you had to spin the brush in circles and apply pressure for the gel to adhere to the CPU. I felt that this product had been on the shelf since before I was born. It was clumpy, dry, and most of all not enough in there. They must weigh the bottle and not the product because it was just enough for one application, maybe two if your lucky. The brush comes out dry, and you have to turn the bottle upside down to even get the brush head half covered in the gel. It looks great on the video of how to apply this but don't buy this product. You are better off using a very high end thermal paste over this stuff. I would not recommend it nor would i ever purchase this again. For this price you can buy a brush and the paste and spread it better let alone still have money for a drink to enjoy when you first boot up your PC.

It's not peanut butter
Comment:
Thermal compound should be put on in a very thin, even layer. You don't slather it on like peanut butter on bread! Put a small amount in the center of the chip and spread it with a credit card, or business card into a smooth layer. You don't put it on both the chip and heatsink either! You should get sevearal uses out of the bottle.

Comment:
The thermal paste is just fine. You can get around 10+ uses out of it, remember it only takes a paper thin layer of it. The animation that describes on how to apply it is not really all that true, as for me I usually spread it on one side of the cpu and take an old "ID" or sturdy card and spread it. Great stuff.

Ok, so I read the reviews. It was clumpy and a bit messy to work with but it seemed to spread fine. So far so good. And for the guys that only got two uses out of it, what are you doing bathing the cpu?

This stuff is sweet! Although some have complained about this and that, if it's runny or clumpy you got one of the bad ones. When it's perfect, it's got the consistancy of honey. You only need to apply a THIN coat to the PROCESSOR then mount your cooler. The brush in the cap makes it easy to do the CPU while in it's motherboard socket. There's more than enough in the bottle, I've used it on 4 different builds now and still have 1/3 of a bottle. Performance is great, price is ok. I'd do it again. You all know how fast it arrives at the door. Get it.

This was a very dissapointing purchase. The paste was thick, and stuck to the applicator in clumps. This was a real pain to apply. It seems to work OK but the application really is terrible.

Temps dropped about 3 degrees when I changed out the stock thermaltake grease. Bottle contains almost enough to do 2 CPUs. Way to expensive for what you get. Going with AS next time.

I bought this product when i got my AMD 5400+ X2 Black Edition, first time useing any thermal jell, i thought it was easy to use and made my installation quite easy, i like the fact it is a bit runnyer than most, i cleaned my heatsink, then rubbed it down a bit with steelwool, then applied some jell to heatsink, rubbed it back off to just fill any small valleys, then applied jell to my chip, slapped it together and my X2 runs at 45 with a sempron LE 1200 heatsink and fan, soon to upgrade cooling. It works and was easy to work with !!!!

Back when I was a noob I saw this product tried it now I ran out. I had to reapply over and over again.Yes it may be easy to use, but thats because it runs and dosnt stay put. I'm going with artic silver hopfully its now in the mail. When I bought this stuff it was a lot cheaper.

Comment:
I previously had Arctic Silver but had to replace the fan and was all out. This was all the local Tiger Direct store had in stock so I went with it. Idle temps on my E6600 went from 32C to about 40C. Not TOO bad, but on load I get up to around 59C. Again, not bad, but I never went past 45C with the Arctic Silver. The one major plus with this however is how easy it is too applicate. It's not messy at all. I would say it's good for beginners only worried about dropping or smearing some on the CPU contacts/ motherboard components (which I have done in the past).

Not all that impressed with it. No real performance gains, and it's really runny. More convienient that standard tube but does not outperform something like Arctic Silver.
