Excellent, Affordable and Quiet Running
Comment:
I bought this fan to replace a more expensive one that burnt out on me in about a year. I gotta say for its price this fan almost performs equal with my old one. It runs very quiet and keeps the processor nice and cool. Overall +'s all around from me. |

HASN'T WORKDED SINCE I INSTALLED IT!!!
Comment:
Cooler has not worked right since I installed it. Runs intermittently for about 5-10 seconds, then stops. I have 4 other fans that work fine. I even tried connecting to one of the other fan plugs and got the same results. Installed my original CPU cooler and it works fine. Maybe I just got a bad one. Definitely can't beat the price though. |

Great value for the price
Comment:
I needed an inexpensive CPU cooler for an Intel Pentium D processor. I bought this fan/heatsink and was impressed at how easy it mounted snugly to the CPU and mounting bracket. It has been doing a great job keeping the processor cool. I bought a second one for the same application. There have been no problems with it. |

Not for Pentium D
Comment:
I purchased this for a 3.4ghz Pentium D, Definitely not enough cooling, processor ran about 10 degrees warmer than the stock one. Fortunatley I purchased a spare masscool with the same order that was originally form my daughters core duo. Installed it on my computer and worked great. Was a cheapy 10$ one but it is quiet and keeps the pentium D cool. |

Very big after taking out the motherboard and taisol plate on bottom of motherboard other than that easy to install. Took my processor from 95C to 64C with a full load on a 3.33 ghz. Recommended product. |

64 C on idle
Comment:
I tried installing this on my Compaq Presario but the holes were too small for the brackets to fit through. With a lot of trouble of opening the motherboard and installing, I find this to be not such a convenient product, and in the end it didn't do the job. |

A small glitch
Comment:
First time building and ran into some problems attaching fan to the CPU. I installed the fan mounting unit but the fan wouldnt fit because the orientation caused an obstruction with the CPU heat sink on the MoBo. Tried to remove the mounting unit but broke the plastic expanders that secured it. Now that I know of my space limitations i've ordered another unit and will do it right. |

Great Value
Comment:
Slapped this puppy on an Intel quad core. Works surprisingly well. Quiet, keeps temps down, cheap. I'm not over clocked and don't care about ultra low fly-boy CPU temps. For an OEM-esque heatsync this is a winner. |

Air Over Clock Hog
Comment:
Installed this beast on a Quad 2.6 and OC'ed to approx 3.2 and running beautifully stable. Not a huge fan of the pre-packaged thermal paste as it had the same consistency as mayonnaise. But, I'm a cheapo so it works for the Wife's rig. Fast shipping as always, THANKS! |

Exceeded expectations
Comment:
This fan is very quiet. I am glad I don't have to hear the wine of the stock fan anymore. The x-wind is so quiet, when I placed it in the first time I had to look in the case to make sure it was working. There has been no overheating issues since placing the fan in my system. |

Good Product for the price
Comment:
Haven't really had a chance to use this So I cant really rate this product. Saving it as a spare Cause I upgraded to the ultra chill tech for my core 2 quad. But I would recommend ultra products to anyone as I have quite a few of there products and am very happy with them. Also this fan is very wide so make sure you look at the measurements. |

best product with the price
Comment:
Install and running good no problem, good looking with the clear side case. |
Has a larger cooling blade area than the original CPU fan, and works much quieter. Easy to install, and can be easily removed if it needs to be replaced.
