Excellent power supply.
Comment:
Easily fit my new CoolerMaster HAF case, came with more than enough cables and does exactly what it is supposed to. This is the second Ultra PS I have bought and the next one I buy will be an Ultra. This is the best PS if you are building your PC.

Awesome PSU
Comment:
I'm a gamer and this power unit have not failed me yet. What I like most about it is that you can used only the cables for the items that you really need. No more extra cables I have to store away. Free up a lot of space allowing my fans to circulate and cool my entire case. Going to Modular PSU was the best choice and will probably stick with it for a long time. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

Not a gaming PC power supply.
Comment:
This power supply doesn't have enough power to run one BFG GTX 280 oc video card in a ASUS P6T Mb with 12 gb of ram. When put video card under load it shut down pc. Don't buy it for a gaming Pc.

Been sold on Ultra for years
Comment:
Since I discovered the Ultra line of power supplies, I've been sold on them. I started off with a 550w X2 model a couple years ago for an AMD 4400+ system build. That supply was flawless in operation and was very classy with the white chrome finish. Since then, I moved up to this 850w X3 model which has been flawless for a i790/q9650 system sporting dueling 9800gt in SLI build and is even more classy looking with the black chrome. Now I'm moving on to an i7/920 with dueling ATI4870s in x-fire and have already ordered the 1000w X3 version for that system. These supplies are top-notch in all respects. Looks, quality, reliability, lifetime warranty and the modular design is just the best thing since wireless mice and keyboards. It earns the YoDude seal of approval.

Does the job
Comment:
My first one was flaky and you have to jump through hoops to find out whether to send to the store or Ultra. I got that remedied, first 30 days the store. Call Ultra first. I wish it had more PciE connectors as well. I have a video card with two connectors and this one only has two so there goes SLI unless you use splitters. Running 2 9800 GTX with a cable from another Modular that has two plugs on one cable so at least I got a work around. Otherwise a decent power supply. System stable.

Comment:
I just received this power supply today and never thought it would look this nice. Great quality built and the cables are nice looking too. I had to buy this power supply to go in to my new computer that I'm building. I cant wait to turn this best on. I would recomment this power supply to anybody.

Great product
Comment:
This power supply was just as all the other Ultra products, with a very few exceptions. It works as advertised and runs quietly and efficently. Would like to see 2 more PCI-E connections for 3 and 4 video cards. Haven't found one to date with any manufacturer but no problems otherwise. I have bought Ultra products in the past and will continue to do so in th future. Can't go wrong and tech support is fast and efficent with RMA's.

Will Knock your Socks Off!!!!
Comment:
Wow!! This is the nicest built power supply I have purchased/seen. It's high gloss finish is a showpiece and will knock your socks off. The Modular sockets are well laid out and the matching cables are generous in their number and in the socket types. Runs great - very quiet. If you want a great performing AND great looking power supply get this one. I want to order a second one, to put on my coffee table as a conversation piece, but that would be extreme!!!

Worth Every Cent.
Comment:
Great Product, Lots of Power, Modular Design is Very Handy, Flat Cables Help Tidy Up Case. Only complaint is its a little loud but what do you expect for a 850W PSU. Plus a Lifetime Warranty, so will last technically forever.

This does exactly what it is supposed to.

I ran this with 2 9800 GT from XFX a core 2 quad overcloced about a half a ghz with 1 hard drive and 1 dvd with a watercooling system on a evga 790i ultra sli. this has no problems. i like how it is short so i can insert another 120mm fan in my cooler master haf 932. this has no problems running the system and is great for sli not tri though. it is the best for cooling because of complete modular and the flexible cable are great.

Great After the Second Time
Comment:
I would have given this product a higher rating had I not have to return it a have it replaced. Low marks were given for shipping. The new one was shipped out immediately (after holding my credit card hostage) HOWERVER the shipping was still at the slower speed. I would think that they would ship at a faster speed knowing they had a defective product.

Well worth the money
Comment:
I was doing a new build to the Intel I7 processor and needed a PS for which could handle any future upgrades so I bought this one. Will have to admit that I'm not sorry I did. Love the fact you only need to add the wires that your going to use. This means less wires cluttering up the case. And the Lifetime warranty for registering it made it even better. If you need a new PS by all means grab this one.

My not so old power supply could not keep up with the demands of CrossFireX two ATI 3870HD vid's, and died. Now I blast through CRYSIS with no problems. System: ASROCK A780GXE/128M, PHENOM 2 940X4, 8GB CORSAIR, ZALMAN VF1000 VGA Coolers(2), COBRA D984 CPU cooller, WINDOWS 64 BIT OS, all in a ULTRA XBlaster case.

The Best Power Supply
Comment:
When I decided to upgrade my system, I became aware of the fact that my old PS would not be adaqate to handle the two Crossfire graphics cards I was planning to install. The minimum requirement was 600 watts, and my old one was 500. I decided to go with the 850 watt model. This power supply is by far the most adaptable and versitile I have seen, no matter what type of graphics card you use. It also allows you to install only the cables you need, and therefore prevents a lot of clutter inside your system.

Great power supply for the price
Comment:
Ultra has always made great power supplies. And if you register this on their website, you get a lifetime warranty. That in itself should be enough to make you seriously consider this unit. It's also modular..which is really nice to not have all the extra cables that are not in use wasting space and creating airflow issues. Definitely would recommend this unit to everyone.
