VANTEC TF6025 60mm Case Fan
Comment:
Very good air flow A lot louder than I expected! I was hoping the temperature gauge would mean they'd be quieter than a typical fan at top speed but the opposite happened. My case isn't that hot but these fans make it sound like I've got a little furnace in there. They'll do the job, but I'd suggest yet another fan if you're looking for quiet over efficiency. I bought two to push air out of my HTPC and though they do just that they're noisier than the stock fans were.

VANTEC TF6025 60mm Case Fan
Comment:
This little fan lowered my HDD and CPU temps by 12 C. It's quiet too. A minor complaint, my MB has a 3-wire molex fan energy + speed plug, but this fan only has the regular four-wire molex power cord, with a separate three-wire molex which only has the yellow wire (for fan RPM). So, I can't take benefit of the MB's fan-speed regulation. No large deal.

Neat that it automatically regulates the speed based on the temp of the air moving via the fins. Bought 2, temp sensor or something was broken on one which produced it run at full speed all the time, doesn't seem any quieter than the ones that came with my Thermaltake case.

This is an great 60mm fan. Most fans of this size are either too loud or too weak. This 1 runs incredibly smoothly and quietly even though nonetheless moving lots of air. None

Replaced case Linkworld 6280-01 Item#:N82E16811164098 fans with new Vantec fans, the original fans went out in a few months.Superior adequate air flow, and mounting was straightforward, came with mounting screws. Price is average, went with these becasue the air flow to noise ratio. None Vantec is a great product.

it runs and moves some air and does it without having creating vibration noises. I used a Zalman speed reducer (connector assembly with built-in resistor) to slow down the fan simply because for a HTPC it was just way too loud operating full speed can't adjust the temp activation level have you noticed however that the fans becoming sold nowadays are virtually by no means near as quiet as the ads would have us believe?

VANTEC TF6025 60mm Case Fan
Comment:
I can't think how significantly of a distinction this produced. Noise output has to be among the lowest of any 60mm fan. When the thermosistor is shorted (max heat) the fan is incredibly loud. I added a 50 ohm resistor to the circuit to further lower noise. We use these to cool power supplies that are employed in church organ consoles, as a result noise output is essential. These purr like a kitten with no noticeable noise output at their low speed (when temps are low). They do speed up nonetheless as temperature increases, and get a bit louder, but far quieter than any other 60mm fan.
