effective and relatively quiet. satisfied with the acquire. 2 energy connections required to employ automated temperature controlɅ). 3-pin on motherboardtwo). Molex 4-pin to power provide directly/indirectly i favor 3 or four-pin energy connector but this fan has an automated temperature manage which uses a three-pin energy connector. the energy for the fan makes use of a 'molex connector' 4-pin. these concerned with cable management may well not like obtaining to deal with wiring the two connections in their case.

VANTEC TF9225 92mm Case Fan
Comment:
This 92mm fits Dell and specific other uncommon chassis nicely. Dual ball bearings imply it will last a lot longer than less costly, sleeve-bearing fans. It's also quieter when contaminated with dust... and unless you're in a datacenter which has several levels of air filtration, they *will* grow to be contaminated with dust, sooner or later. This fan is variable speed with an onboard sensor, meaning it will automatically adjust the RPMs relative to the amount of heat its moving. This keeps things as quiet as attainable without having sacrificing the stability of your rig. Could be a bit less expensive for a chassis fan, but nonetheless fair compared to other manufacturers of similar specs. Employed this to replace the failing chassis fan in the old Dell which is acting as my firewall. It's noticeably quieter than the stock fan, regardless of slightly larger RPM at the same temps. The noise disparacy is probably due to the truth that the stock fan was a inexpensive sleeve bearing 1, even though this one particular is ball bearing.

I use these Vantec ThermoFlow case fans for builds all the time. Double ball bearings, temperature controlled fan speed, and a very good price tag. None, haven't had any troubles yet with any of them. All of the 80mm, 92mm, and 120mm I have applied are still going robust. Just obtain it and use it

Poor for a stock replacement.Don't expect it to function superior than stock. Was running temps of 32*C ambient and 38*C CPU idling this morning with stock HP fan. Installed this fan and as I write this I am now running 39*C and 48*C.Turning 1985 RPMs now as I write this and it hit 2100 RPMs the moment.Hasn't broke 200RPMs considering that. By the specs this point should blow like a hurricane but it puts out worse than my stock fan. Back to stock fan.

Operates fantastic, no complications, extremely quiet, really cool. Greater than stock, which is surprising. Why do they make fans eat up a PSU connector? Nicely worth it.

substantially superior than my final case fan. Moves good quantity of air none Even if I had been to get the factor running at 3100 RPM, I can't comprehend these "fan is as well loud" reviews unless the commenter is Daredevil.

VANTEC TF9225 92mm Case Fan
Comment:
The fan appears to move a good quantity of air, but that is subjective. The acoustic high quality is better than the OEM fan but is not precisely pure air noise. This fan is only supposed to reach max speed of 3100 rpm at 50C. However, it goes to 3072 according to SpeedFan, and the air temp is only 31C. This makes for a incredibly loud computer, louder than the OEM Dell fan (Dimension 2350).

Comments: This fan is very quiet and moves a lot of air. This fan has a four pin connector for its power and a 3 pin connector for the motherboard so you can monitor fan if you have computer software to do so. Quite great. Comes with screws.

I could actually really feel the distinction from the stock fan it replaced. I even noticed the CPU heat sink fan spinning up much less generally.

Comments: Not a Silent fan, but quiet and great performance. I currently have mine paired with a Thermalright SI-97. I would be far better if it reached complete speed at 40* rather of 50. considering that the temp sensor i in the air stream passing through the fan it would be quite hard to get it to reach 50*. Even on a hot running CPU I doubt it would get to full speed. If you were running 50* case temps you have main issues anyway. Overall a superior fan.

I purchased this fan to replace a 90mm Vavtec Tornado that was on my CPU heatsink (Swiftech MCX 4000-T. Tornado was just too loud. This fan works nearly as nicely, and incredibly small noise.P4 3.0Ghz E0 CPU runs at 45C (idle) and 70C at full load, overclocked to three.6Ghz on an ABIT IC7-MAX3. None Built-in thermostat is a good feature. It speeds up when hot and slows down when cool.

installed with no troubles, and keeps on operating, after the initially three weeks in service. I use it as a rear fan, in a totally packed micro-ATX tower ƒ HDs, two SSDs, 4870ǗGB video, AMD quad core 125W no OC, 4 x 2GB RAM, floppy, BD R/W, card reader). None that I can see Some far more data would have been nice -like what is the RMP/CFM vs temp curve, but I can see the RPMs rising as the temp goes up in benchmarks, so it does its job

Double Ball Bearing case fan, built in speed controller. It also was a excellent fit replacement for the smaller 80mmfan in my HEC 6T series 6T10BB Case. It did a good jobof minimizing the noise I had left in the method. Of coursethe thermaltake TR2-R1 CPU cooler, and the OCZ 550 wattenergy provide helped two. These are in my test laptop or computerand I have been testing how quiet I can make it . So farimpressive. None that I can think of so far. I would advise it and buy an additional if I necessary it.

Cools da PC Kind of noisy, See other thoughts: Had to modify plug to fit Dell desktop but the resistance from the fan sensor does not meet the needs of the Dell (Dells fault) and it swears to not have a fan. Takes some BIOS tinkering to get the PC to ignore fan faults.
