VANTEC TF9225 92mm Case Fan
Comment:
Brrrr. This is a great little fan. Works properly on a case door facing your video card, processor, etc. Only cons are:The yellow sensor cables that connect to the motherboard are a little brief. The four pin molex plugs are kinda low-cost and seem that the cables are loose and could fall apart more than time. Even although one of the cables are brief, they do reach. |

Easy installation, quiet. Not compatible with Dimension 4550. The case fan of my Dell Dimension 4550 began to fail years ago. I have to lubricate it regularly. Now it is time to fix it forever. The Dell fan component quantity is 9M060, with 9232-12HBTL-two on the label. I tried to connect the new fan's yellow signal line to the Dell signal pin (white line on the old fan), but often got fan failure alert on startup. To fix it, I just grounded the yellow line to the black line with an LED (or a resistor). This pulls the detection pin voltage from 8V to 2V, and draws about 100mA present. You can try to use bigger resistor value. |
