Its an LCD monitor. It has dead pixels. It has a tilt adjustment, the screen has a matte finish. Controls are simple to access and provide simple settings tweaks. I like it because it isn't flashy, doesn't have an outrageous border about the screen, operates flawlessly, and looks excellent. Not HD. Not LED Backlit (but what do you expect for 财?) built in speakers are terrible (of course), casing has a glossy finish which i don't truly like but that's just personal preference. Great monitor for the money. I got 1 of these when i built my tower and it seems to perform fine. I wish i had stepped up to a 21" or 23" in particular something that is HD and possibly LED backlit, but at the identical time if you want much more actual estate then get two of these :)
