excellent details, quite vibrant. mounting was easy. speakers suck. menu is challenging to navigate this is replacing my 1st full screen monitor, it was a tiny hard acquiring utilized to. also my winamp play list was to extended for the wide screen, so i had to make it shorter.

great monitor for the cost, had a ฮ rebate on black friday none unless you expect a lot more than what you pay for, the annoying ASUS logo that pops up everytime you turn it on has different modes for theater, game, night, common, etc which are sort of good but I'm not confident I'll use them.

- Massive- Don't have to scroll sideways anymore- Bright- Colors are vibrant- Arrived in 3 days- I'm satisfied None so far took out of the box and hooked it up less than ten minutes and nothing but Can't comment on the speakers. Haven't tried them out however. But other than that well worth the price for me. Every thing I've been looking for. Specifically if you're replacing a 15" monitor.

I ordered 4 of these for a marketplace trading workstation.No dead pixels. no cons. Feel a small modest immediately after making use of 30" displays, but for the price these are excellent.

I test other monitors to discover it was not replicable except on this monitor. I RMA'ed and got a brand new monitor. I was excited to get back operating but by the second day of use it started flickering. On bootup the monitor would flicker for random amounts of time. I figured maybe it was warming up and would go away. But then, it started popping up randomly in the course of use. Just as I was about to RMA it once more, smoke started pouring out of the monitor. I called ASUS various times asking for a confident fix or various model. Nope, they refused and sent me back the identical one. I have yet to plug it in and can only hope it functions,

simple setup, extremely vibrant color. Compare to my old 17" LCD, i could see far more when watching movies no so far

was shipped in a box Just plain poor color. Greys are reproduced as dingy brown etc. Purchased this and an Acer x203H for ฤ less. The Acer is a far superior monitor. This is the 2nd ASUS monitor we have tried (VW266H) - Both performed poorly against each other monitor we have.

Plugged it up to my machine and got a pretty picture instantly (after changing from my 1440x900 resolution). For 财 you're not going to come across a far better monitor. I've trusted Asus motherboards for a decade now, and hopefully this monitor will deliver the same satisfaction.Works wonderful for playing a 360 on with a VGA hookup. absolutely nothing... it doesn't having an hdmi hookup... but it's 财 monitor, get over it correct? The generic monitor I had ahead of looks like garbage compared to this 1.

Loud speakers (compared to a couple of other LCD built ins I've had), Excellent size, Bright, Straightforward setup, Includes audio cable, Contains each a VGA and digital cable.Stand is in fact 1 of the more nicely produced and steady ones I've seen. Wonderful cost and picture good quality! 1 of the buttons at the bottom of the screen (the S/A button) is recessed and is not pressable. It is hard to operate the on-screen menu with out it. There are no visible signs of physical harm to neither the box or the contents, so this need to be a manufacturing defect. Now I have to pay ผ of shipping charges in order to return it for replacement.

This is all that you would expect from a high resolution monitor. Direct out of the box plugged it in and it fired up. Didn't even need to load the CD driver that came with the unit. Overall it's a very great monitor and would advise buying 1 and you can't beat the price. Found 1 dead Pixel in the lower left corner of the screen. Not a genuine large deal and I'm happy it's not in the middle of the screen. Has a 3 year warranty.

Aspect ratio is good. the recommended resolution is 1600 x 900 but you can push 1600 x 1200. Cleaner appear without the silver strip that all the older Asus monitors had. And of course the cost is just correct. Confident you can get a less costly 20" monitor but thats what you get, low-cost. The aforementioned glossy finish. not actually a con for me just clean the thing every single now and once more. Even though I ought to say they genuinely do soak up fingerprints. Purchased two of these for code development about two months ago and I like them sufficient that I'm about to buy yet another so I can run Eyefinity with a matched set.

built in speakers, customizable display settings button totally broke when I wanted to change profiles. I like to have diverse profiles for gaming and normal use. There's no point in having various profiles if you can't choose them. buttons appear cheaply made, major disappointment. Had the monitor 2 months ahead of it broke.

Wonderful low cost monitor. Really small to no bleed. Colors or good sufficient for just about anything. odd dimensions I bought 11 of the for my organization and only had to return one with issues.

These screens are good, plain and basic. Upgrading from a 17" CRT to these was unreal. Since these are wide-screen it felt like I was obtaining a lot more than 20" per screen. The brightness and default settings on these out the box are great, very vivid colors, I may well even have to turn them down they are so bright. Actually nice monitors... I purchased two of these when they had been on sale and knew what I was acquiring into with any monitor.... Upon arrival I booted them each up on Windows 7 x64 and they looked terrific... except 1 had two GLARING dead pixel that are bright red no matter what I do. I knew I was taking a chance but it truly does feel bad when you get a dud. Because the return policy with newegg is 8 pixels I guess I'm out of luck. I am not totally upset with the dead pixels... I just ended up generating that screen my secondary one. Also the brightness is so high that it virtually appears as if they aren't there occasionally. I guess I will just use a red background so I can't see them ^^. I gave this item 3 eggs because of the two I purchased, I am completely happy with 1 and the other is lackluster with 2 dead pixels.

Can't beat the deal.Quite bright, decent contrast, NO dead or dilemma pixels.When you Lastly get it set up to your personal preferences, It is a quite nice monitorNumerous might like the various display modes for points like movies, scenery, etc, but I use mine as a secondary monitor in a multi setup, and all those modes just make it more challenging to setup for my particular uses. Quite Un-intuitive controls for setup. It took me an hour to set the colors, brightness, and contrast up to my preferences. I could have accomplished the exact same factor on my viewsonics in 5 minutes. I'm glad I only have to do it once. It was a frustrating thing to do. The glossy black surrounds that are becoming much more and additional preferred, are a actual negative to lengthy term usage. Why would these monitor manufacturers go to all the trouble of developing non-reflective monitor surfaces, and then develop surrounds that reflect just about every light source in the creating appropriate into your eyes. The display is widescreen and supports a reasonably high resolution. The built-in color/contrast/etc. features make the screen variable in appearance, enough so to match it do a different manufacturer's monitor's look in a dual-display scenario It didn't ship knowing the contrast/brightness of my other monitor, and I had to maually sync it. Darn. Excellent acquire if you like sleek look, and if you obtain it during a special such as Black Friday!

Effortless setup w/ DVI connection. The built in 1 watt speakers really doesn't sound very good, so I also bought a Logitech S220 speaker system. New sound method is 10 times far better with superb monitor for gaming. No dead pixels. All purchased at newegg.com. None so far.
