Comment:
Double Ball Bearing, Great air flow, 3 pin plug. Mine tends to make a clicking noise like a thing is touching the blades. It's not, I have checked. I have applied numerous Vantec merchandise in the previous and this is the first I have had poor luck with. The Thermoflow fans are great but a bid loud.

Comments: I have to agree with the other negative reviewer, these fans have a incredibly annoying higher pitched whine. I bought two of them, one particular for a front intake and the other for a rear exhaust. The whine was terrible from each of them. To make matters worse the pitch was slightly diverse so you could hear the two whines like a pair of singers who are off-crucial. Fortunate for me (sarcasm) the front fan died right after a couple of hours and I have ordered a pair of panaflos to replace them both.As far as the ordering approach, Newegg was rapidly and easy like constantly. I only wish they sold 120mm panaflos.

Load temp dropped from 50C to 38C on 3200+ when applied with Vantec 80mm stealth. GPU dropped from 48-41 idle. Method temp at load dropped from 45 to 33. These items are totally quite and the only noise i hear is from the HSF and NB Shipping mabye? Oh, no instruction brought on me to install the fans in the wrong direction. 3rd eggsclusive acquire

Vantec Stealth 120mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF12025L

Comments: Quite quiet fan. My only concern is that it is not moving a complete lot of air. I purchased an Antec case to place this in which has a 120MM in the back which moves considerably far more air but is louder! So, it works as advertised. There is a definite heat advantage making use of the fan even given the low output, even though. When I turn it off the case temp rises roughly five-ten*F. Since the fan is drawing air above the difficult drive cage, I believe that it is assisting the 10K RPM drives preserve cool, even although the CFM doesn’t appear like a lot.

Comments: Extremely quiet fan. Only drawback is due to the fact major velocity is somewhat low overall air flow is less then it could be. This is not an problem on my process, but just keep it in thoughts. I like 120mm fans, due to the fact one particular 120mm fan moves far far more air then two 80mm fans for the same RPM and makes rather a bit less noise.

Comments: I've had this fan for around a year now, and it has served me effectively. The fan it's self is pretty quiet, most of what you hear is the air flow, which is sort of wierd. Using fan speed controll with this fan will fairly considerably leave you with extremely little airflow, and a higher pitched sound (thats what I've identified), but it is so quiet, why try to quiet it anymore?

Quiet, flows fantastic - What much more do you need? None Vantec is now my fan of selection, much less than Antec, just as excellent or better quality. I am waiting for an 80mm to replace an older, slightly noisy one particular feeding my cpu heatsink. Hunting forward to less noise and cooler temps!

It performs. It didn't function effectively until I rebuilt it. It worked considerably far better immediately after I disassembled it, removed the big spot of glue, applied some 3 in 1 oil to the shaft, and reassembled it.

This fan is extremely, incredibly quiet! I can't even hear it. And it did lower my tempatures by 4c. Measure your holes. I didn't and and to drill holes on my situation since I believed I had the ideal size but no bigie. I wonder if I hook this up to a fan controller, will it go any more rapidly?

Comments: I have the 3700 BQE also and went with this fan based on the last guy's recommendation.I initially bought only a single given that my case had an Antec fan included. I discovered that this 1 was FAR quiter than the supposedly "near-silent" Antec fan individuals were blabbering about in the evaluations.I mean the Antec fan wasn't horrible, but this one was just so much quieter. So I got a second 1 and (combined with a Zalman 7000Al CPU fan) my pc is Very quiet. Not completely silent, of course, but pretty close. Situation temps with a Radeon 9800 Pro, 2.6c, and two WD challenging drives look very good, even below load. So I guess they really hold issues cool, too, which is why we have fans in the first place...So it's cool, it will fit your situation, and it's whisper-quiet. You were searching for anything else?

Vantec Stealth 120mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF12025L
Comment:
I've had a quantity of Vantec fans via the years and I seriously like the Stealth series. These are my very first 120mm units though Ɣx of them - 2x intake and 2x exhaust). Just like the 80mm units, they move a modest quantity of air and do so nearly silently. If my 80mm units are any indication, these 120mm units will final a lot of years below largely 100% duty. Not a big deal, but the leads are not sleeved. Also, I suppose it would be good if they pushed a small a lot more air for the very same sound profile. I had to pick on One thing, but these are such minor points. If you don't desires extreme airflow, these fans will get the job done. Appear elsewhere if you will need more flow and/or pressure, although.

Blows quite a bit of air, the most of all my fans Im operating Its also the loudest..not negative though. I have it on the side window, and it vibrates the panel a bit making it sound louder than if I place my hand on it. Ill prob slab a sheet of dynamat on the inside to shut it up.

Comments: This factor is quiet. It doesn't move air like a Panaflo, but you merely don't hear it, either. I also had a "Mad Dog" 120mm fan that claimed to be 24 db but it is noticeably louder than the Vantec.

Comments: Yep,this monster is quiet, and does it push air.I mounted this on the inside of my situation to pull air in and got a seriously loud fan as a outcome.Pulled it out of my situation and powered it up and was whisper quiet.Realized this fan is created greater to push air than to pull it.My answer was to add a vibration spacer to get the fan blades away from the side of the case and now this point pulls air in actual good.If you have space for one of these fans in your situation and need to move alot of air,get this.

Comments: Quite quiet! Vantec made an exellent fan for quiet-concious individuals. I dock it one particular star only simply because it doesn't move a complete lot of air. Whilst it's rather adequate, the Thermaltake Thunderblade fans are quicker RPM, move additional air, and are ӴdBA quieter! The TT fans are lighted LED tho. If you don't want lighted though, the Vantec Stealth are the way to go!

Quiet as a mouse. i love it. under no circumstances has my computer system been so quiet, and it's nonetheless staying cool! it would stop working on and off. I traced it back to a loose wire on the power cord which I just pushed in and now it functions no challenge! I strive for quiet and cool. I adore gaming but hate the vacuum cleaner my laptop or computer sounded like. Now i get my quiet and cool.
