This fan was added to my Antec Sonata case at the front just behind my hard drives, oddly enough this fan actually made my already quiet case quieter, i measured 22db from in front of my case at a distance of two feet, (mostly to prove to my friends it really is that quiet) and after the case fan was installed, 19.88db that dosn't sound like much, but my only theory is that the other fans aren't working as hard,. The main source of noise from my case now is, and probably always will be, my hard drives when they seek. this is a neccisary purchase for anyone who wants the pinacle of air cooled quiet case technology. This is a quality case fan that operates nice and quiet. I had bought a thermaltake before and find that one to be alot louder than this. I'm using it as a front case fan and it works great! |

The vantec 120mm stealth fan is a must have, it is one of the cheaper 120mm fans on the market it is reliable and keeps the tempuratures down properly because of it's airflow. Even though it maybe one of the cheaper 120MM it isn't very loud and it is a must have if u have a Sonata case.There are 2 problems, although it's one of the cheaper ones 20$ is quite a bit of money to spend on one fan. it moves a lot of air but not much for a 120mm fan. It is quiet but id recomend the antec 120mm fan instead. Its a dollar more but it moves 79cfm and 30dba which is a little louder but moves a lot more air. |

I purchased this fan after reading all the reviews here on ncix.com. I was pleased with the sound->airflow ratio of this fan. It is pretty damn decent! I would recommend this to those who have silent systems or already loud ones that dont want to make their cases any louder.
