Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Comment:
Purchased this to replace my mid-tower situation fan that was beginning to get loud. Followed my brother's advise and shopped for a dual ball bearing fan as they are recognized to have exceptional extended-term overall performance. Works like a charm - no noise at all! No rattles or hums in my screwless connector. Doesnt' have a 4-prong PWM switch for variable speed handle. Minor gripe as the 3-prong nevertheless connects and not genuinely that big a deal.

Quiet, super quiet. Even subsequent to my ear I only hear wind noise, no motor noise at all(if you try this be positive to not hit your ear...it hurts, alot). Solid built, finest built fan I've ever held. 4 or three pin connector. Moves significant air, cool air. A small exspensive but far more then worth the value so it negates itself. Get it you won't be disappointed. None. I have two of these and 4 80mm Thermaltake fans that run so quiet and cool you wouldn't know it was on if the monitor is off.System specs: AMD Athlon 64x2 񪀘 Toledo proc, BoiStar 6100-m9 mobo, four gigs Mushkin DDR400 Ram, XFX 8800GTS Vid Card, Western Digital Caviar Se16 320gig Tricky Drive, Samsung Sh-S182D DVD read/write Rom, Windows Vista Property Premium 64bit.

Cons:nope

Pros:Vantec Stealth series deserve the title of the classic fan
Comment:
Vantec Stealth series last for ever, on several computer build i have used different kind of fans and i never had to replace any Vantec fan. They are not the most quiet or the noisiest they are well balance between noise and cfm

Quiet, moves air. Nothing important If you will need a quiet fan that fits 80mm, this is a good choice. It doesn't move a ton of air, but you are not going to get that at this size & price point.

really fairly, moves air as it really should with no difficulties what so ever. good reliable 80mm fan. none so far, haven't figured out how to manually adjust speed. use two of these fans front and rear in my asus cm5570 case. intel quad core 8200 was running around 50C idle, 60C during games, now runs 40 idle and 45 gaming. GPU also about 5C cooler. worth the investment.

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L

Fast Order Processing and Shipping. Fanwas simple to install and package contained screws for fan. Connector was three pin which is what I needed for Motherboard Connection, but Adapter was supplied for coonnecting directly to 12V power by way of Molex connector. Fan started instantly and was quiet with speed of 2210 RPM readout on MB Monitor. None Connected as exhaust fan at the rear of the case and it lowered CPU temp from 98F to 86F.CPU Fan is blowing out directly into this exhaust fan, so the air is pulled out of the situation significantly more rapidly which is why it has such an effect on CPU temperature.

It fit ideal in the case bracket..has good airflow..cools the situation(big plus) !!! not totally slient..but not bothersome. Price is a little steep, but you get what you spend for and I had rather spend a tiny extra and have a top quality item. I replaced a 80mm fan that sounded like a jet engine and what a big difference this fan makes. I can hear the HD working for the initially time considering that I owned this case...it's sooooo good for a adjust. My more than all rating..Get IT .. very good investment !

Do what they say and aren't terribly loud. Not any quieter than my prior inexpensive ULTRA Chrome fans. These generate about the identical amount of noise that my prior fans created. I just hope that they last a bit longer.

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Comment:
I bought two of these fans, and only one particular is working as it ought to. That said, the operating fan is fairly quiet and moves a lot of air. They come with an adapter for 3-pin fan to 4-pin peripheral, and screws for mounting. Dropped my CPU temp a few degrees. 1 of the fans was making a loud raspy/scratching noise although operating, as if there were a thing rubbing internally. Newegg issued me an RMA quantity quickly, but it will price me most of the price of the fan just to ship it back with the "discount" label they give, so I'm fairly significantly stuck with it. Also, the cases of both fans seem to be slightly warped, as they don't fit incredibly nicely into the screwless fan attachments of my pc case (which have held numerous other 80mm fan varieties without having any concerns). I'm fairly disappointed in the good quality of these fans, especially for one of the greater tier greatest promoting fans. It's uncommon for me to be disappointed by anything I obtain from Newegg, but I guess it does happen on occasion (though I nevertheless adore getting computer parts right here :).

Didn't take long to be impressed by these. The only sounds I can hear from my laptop or computer is the tough drive and cpu fan, but they move virtually as much air as my genuinely loud Thermaltake fans. Not extremely attractive for a case with a window, but function is a lot more critical.

I've been employing these type of Vantec fans for years with no a single difficulty however. They are extremely quiet and remain that way. None! My oldest vantec fan is in all probability additional than 5 years old and is nevertheless in use and working fantastic. These are not for high-cfm applications, they are created to be low-cfm low-noise fans.
