Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Comment:
This thing is quiet! Plain and easy. I have it mounted as a front intake, and I had to double check that it was working due to the fact I couldn't hear a factor. The cord is plenty long, so there is no worry that it will be unable to reach energy. Comes with an adapter which is a plus. If you don't will need to use it you can use it for an older fan to get additional cooling somewhere else. None so far, it is doing just what I'd expect soon after reading the reviews and the description. There are fans that push additional air out there, nonetheless this is just what I was searching for and meets my needs exactly. I was worried that it was going to be loud following reading some reviewer's comments that stated it was extremely loud and not "stealth", nonetheless they ought to have got a poor fan out of the lot since you can not hear a factor. I also purchased a 120mm Silverstone fan for my exhaust that pushes way more air than this, but is also incredibly loud on full blast. It came with a speed control so I am able to turn it down so that my system is silent, until I begin to game or encode then I crank it up to keep my system at cooler temps.

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Comment:
This is my fourth Vantec Stealth 80 mm fan. They are quiet and well-built. My 1st two have been running every single day for 4 years with no difficulties. None I have bought cheaper fans prior to and none of them lasted. In reality, I have replaced all of them with Vantec Stealth fans. I just realized my fan controller is a Vantec, too. Wow - guess I'm a Vantec fanboy.

Cons:molex adapter is weak.

Pros:quiet, last very long, quality
Comment:
I needed 2 others fans the increase my cooling for my new i5 2500k. I still use the twos that I bought 4 years ago(running 24/24). They are almost as quiet as the new one after all those years. Very impressed by the quality.

Cons:loud! loud! loud! This product can only be exchanged or replaced with the exact same item.

Pros:move quite a bit air
Comment:
this fan is LOUD! a bit less noisy than the stock chassis fan on apex dm-387, unfortunately the 880G chipset motherboard is unable to adjust fan speed, lame!i would return it and pay restocking fee, but "This product can only be exchanged or replaced with the exact same item."

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Cons:none

Pros:QuietReliableCheap (price)No LED's
Comment:
I have owned about 4 of these fans over the years and I have never had one fail on me. I recently purchased another one to put in my HTPC mainly because I know they are reliable, quiet and have no LED's to light up my room while watching movies. I have noticed that in one particular installation that if the fan is sucking air through a grill that it will create  a bit of a droning noise, but you only notice it if your head is beside the case. Just used this to replace a ceased fan, its way quieter and well priced for something so quiet. Happy with it.

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Cons:None so far

Pros:Vantec quality, quiet, cheap
Comment:
Needed some more cooling for a couple of computers, so among other items, I picked up a couple of these, since the price was excellent(especially price matched!), and my nephew has some of these and he gives them the thumbs up.At this point, I've only installed one of them, along with another brand of a different size, and so far this thing seems to move a decent amount of air, and does it without producing a lot of noise. If you need an 80mm fan, this one is an excellent choice.

Cons:-Excessive packaging

Pros:-Inexpensive-Quiet-Includes adapters-Doesn't glow

What do you say about a fan? It's very quiet, moves air and doesn't cost much. The included adapters are a nice touch, in cheap builds I often don't have enough fan headers.

I purchased this fan to replace the stock fan in my Original Xbox. The difference in sound is mind blowing. I used to hear the fan over the videos I watch through XBMC. Now, even running at 100%, I can watch videos without a constant buzzing noise. Excellent purchase!

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Cons:Non adjustable fan speed120mm alternatives

Pros:High CFM to dBA ratioLifetime warrantyDecent priceQuiet for a 80mm fan
Comment:
This fan is probably one of the best 80mm you can buy; they move a lot of air for a quiet, 80mm fan. Definitely a good buy if you're stuck with a case that only accepts 80mm sized fans. But if you can house 120mm fans, that's probably the way to go. Otherwise, buy some of these for a quieter system.

Cons:None.

Pros:They do the job. Can't ask for much more.
Comment:
Good fans, they push a lot of air, dont know what else to ask for. I have them installed on the side as an intake fan, I wish I had a 120mm on the side, but this will do.

Comment:
I bought this fan for the optional 80mm case fan on the side of my case to help keep my passively cooled video card cool. It is quiet, and can be made even quieter when ran silently in the motherboard BIOS. A great buy at a great price.

Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Cons:not silent, air noise

Pros:Nice speed, push a lot of air.
Comment:
The fan itself is perfect silent, but the air it moves make a low, but still noticeable, sound that can be annoying for some peoples. I was expecting the worst, but frankly it's not that bad and you can alway reduce the fan speed and it become a totally silent fan. The price was fair. Vantec Stealth 80mm Double Ball Bearing Silent Case Fan - Model SF8025L
Cons:not as quiet as most would expect

Pros:high CFM for an 80mm fannot too expensive
Comment:
This is definately not a "silent fan." It is quiet on it's own, but the turbulance air noise that will be produced when you acutally mount it on the case will in result, increase noise significantly. This fan does put out 27 CFM which is pretty good for an 80mm. The noise is not too loud for an average PC user, but for those expecting a stealthy quiet fan, this is too loud.

Video Production Team's computers were experiencing high case and cpu temperatures. Slapped one of these along with a 120mm into each workstation which helped reduce temps.

Pros:Quiet enough for the price

These are decently quiet, you know they are on but they aren't like a small hurricane either. I had no fans in my server case, lost a hard drive (I know, I'm stupid). Now I have two of these bad boys and have separated the hard drives. Should be much more reliable.

This fan is quite good when running at 7Volts, unfotunately Vantec does not ship a fan speed control so you have to re-wire the fan to slow it down.

Has a balanced price for its product quality. If you leave your computer on for long periods of time and don't want to change the fan every two years, I recommend going with ball bearing fans like this.

Cons:3-Pin Adapter not as snug as you'd like on some of the fansYou get what you pay for

Pros:Pretty quietDecent airflowPrice when on sale
Comment:
These are what they are, a cheap decent CFM, and decently quiet 80mm fans. Nothing flashy about them, no controls for variable fan speed, and they're made of simple materials. Ball bearing so not so quiet as other fans out there.I put 4 of these in my tower and they dropped the temperatures down to a steady ambient 36C, with peaks for the motherboard around 45C and the CPU around 54C.I barely notice the noise they make, and even then only if I'm actually listening for it, however, I have been around computers for a long time and sleep next to a server, and I've been told that my hearing is completely desensitized, maybe it sounds like a jet engine to people with normal hearing sensitivities.

With the addition of some new drives I put a couple of these in my case to drop the drive temp down versus using a dedicated drive cooler ( which was next if these didn't work). These are quiet and dropped the drive temp down to allow me to use a lower speed setting on the power supply fan. All in all a good price and nice and quiet
