Installed two of these 1GB memory modules in my Acer Aspire 3004WLCi which upgraded it from the factory-installed 512MB. Boots more rapidly, printer and web browser are more responsive, and applications don't hang any longer. Before the upgrade, I even had trouble browsing my files and folders because plain old Explorer took its time coming up and would from time to time hang. (part of the problem could be that I have only four.25GB of space left on the 30GB C-drive partition ... that's my subsequent investment, a larger HD) Also, a huge kudos to Newegg for finding me my memory so quickly, as usual. I'll be back! None

Sensible price Replace an OEM 512MB memory card on Thinkpad X40.Computer system did not boot with this memory card installed. . BIOS is existing 2.08 so that's not the challenge. Could be one particular negative unit

I just inserted new 1GB RAM and it functions straitaway, no problems at all. Improves systems efficiency amazingly!!! It is worth to buy. Newegg service also really nice. No troubles

Reasonably priced. Not seriously a rapid improvement in my general pc speed. I bought these modules for my Panasonic toughbook CF-29, and while it did give me more ram I identified that it genuinely didnt improve my general technique speed. In fact, it appears like some points take longer to load and the method takes longer to boot up. I dont know if I'd obtain these modules once more. I dont get any kind of error so I'm not genuinely sure why I havent seen any improvement.

*PRICE* on this quite precise sort of memory! easy five minute upgrade for double my g4's memory, computer system recognized RAM instantly and no problems so far. hmm none that i can tell so far wonder why item description doesn't say it's g4 notebook compatible?

I got this to go in a relatively old Dell Inspiron 5150 P4 notebook. It operates, not a lot to say. Could be cheaper but that's economy of scale for you. Manufacturers are producing newer memory by the jillions and these by the thousands, so they cost much more than new memory. It replaced a 512 MB module taking the notebook from 1.5 gigs to two gigs. In impact I paid a gigabyte price tag for 512 MB a lot more memory. That kinda reeks.

Upgraded my Thinkpad X31 from 512 to 1g. Worked out of the box, easy install, and no issues so far. None. When I installed Ubuntu on my Thinkpad X31, startup took bit longer than XP. I upgraded my memory and it greatly lowered startup time.

I bought 1GB Wintec RAM (PC2700, SODIMM). It operates with HP Pavilon DV1000 Notebook.I produced a mixture with old 256MB RAM, generating total of 1.2GB in Windows XP Manage Panel/System menu. None so far. I did not test the overclocking of this RAM. The notebook does not assistance any option for over-clocking.

operates as expected none that I can assume of I bought this ram and placed it in my three-year old laptop, which had 512 MB ram ahead of. Now my laptop runs smoother than ever and even though I had never ever heard of Wintec prior to, its item is awesome!

I got the memory more rapidly then Ii thought I would. Plugged the memory in and the computer will not boot. Plugged old memory in with new memory and the pc boots but does not recognixe new memory. Old memory is 266 and new is 333...

Cheap, maxes out a five year old Toshiba for less than โ with shipping. Wintec has always performed properly. I've employed them from entry level servers to laptops, as a low cost alternative to the memory I would commonly use. none

No problems, just put in the module, and got a wonderful boost to my Inspiron 8600. Now employing 1280MB given that Dell had 2x256MB modules in just before. I was thinking about obtaining another 1GB, but the speed is very good for now. The value is a little high compared to newer RAM, but this is the best if it's what your laptop demands. Of course, Newegg was fast to ship again, and had the very best price tag out there.

Worked good in an older IBM Thinkpad R51 that had a poor internal DIMM None! I was fighting BSOD's and was even receiving error messages pointing towards the memory becoming poor. Replaced the internal 512 MB with this and no a lot more blue screen errors. Ordered one more 1 Gig yesterday to max out this now usable laptop. Thanks Newegg, excellent service, items and costs.

It's memory. It just operates. And it was the chepest I could fine. Ubuntu ten.04 rocks on my six year old Compaq with desktop effects enabled. None. It brought back life to my old laptop, which runs Ubuntu superbly now.
