Single Slot slim style, cool running, energy productive, DX11, crossfireable, quiet, no external energy necessary, can run most games, fantastic cost ࿛ bucks with rebate when I got it!) No dual DVI (Not that I care I just figured I had to complain about some thing or I may well seem biased) I replaced my 9600GT with this. I know it's not a large improvement more than my prior card but I wanted a a lot more efficient power draw. This card is superior than my final card in every way I couldn't be far more pleased. This card needs a third of the power of my 9600GT with no external energy connections and it's much more powerful (not by considerably). What's even far better is if I choose to play heavy duty games I can crossfire a second and get some quite decent frame prices. I know some men and women will disagree with me but I did some research on it just before the obtain...feel free of charge to read about it on Toms Hardware and 3D guru

Card is functioning as expected. I am not really a gamer, I use it mainly for video editing, and it functions very properly for this goal. I bought this card more than similar ones based a ฮ new egg refund. Its been a number of months, I nonetheless dont have it but. I have historically steered clear of refunds for that purpose with exception of instant refunds. High quality of the card is excellent. I will maintain an eye open for my refund examine.

Does what it is supposed to do and much more at this cost point. Not seriously a con but there are some dumb people on these boards who really hurt the ratings because they have no clue what they are executing. Core2**** guy is trying to play Crysis with a old dual core processor with only 2GB of affordable ram and cheap mobo.... Crysis one of the most intensive games for ALL of your hardware not just your video card. You need a full process upgrade. People today with problems with cooling I don't see how you can get the card to 80 c you should take the cooler off and put some new thermal paste on it or get a case with far better air flow. At total load it runs at 48c.My Specs:Antec Twelve-hundred case (all 120mm fans replaced with 1ST Computer CORP 252cfm fans)NZXT Sentry2 fan controllerSilverstone 850w PSUG.Skill Ripjaw Series 8GB DDR3 2000AMD Phenom II X4 970 OC'd to 4.1 at 44 CASUS Crosshair IV FormulaXFX Radeon HD 5670two G.Skill Phoenix 60gb SSD's in RAID (OS)three Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB in RAID (Data)(had to conserve money someplace and did it on the video card but the complete machine runs like a champ)

As stated earlier - decent performing card. US based help, help answer phones rapidly. So its immediately after Christmas and XFX assistance is back. Known as currently simply because I have a bad card (see earlier post). They agreed to RMA my card - but they have no advance swap out model. In other words I have to send my card back, wait for them diagnose challenge, and decide to repair or exchange my card. Other vendors will send you a card promptly (called advance exchange) if you give them a credit card # for a deposit. You get your deposit back as soon as you ship the card back. Now i am devoid of a video card and Computer for at least two weeks. XFX not once more ....... Implement advance exchange repair model - common XFX boost your warranty help!

Decent efficiency for the cost. Lasted 6 months. Started finding artifacts on the screen. At first was only with games, now with standard software. Occurs when I switch teh card to yet another computer so Iknow it is the card. Known as XFX and they are closed for the holidays (Dec 21). Now I have a negative card and no way to get a replacement. Thanks XFX for no video card for the duration of the vacation. Hope you take pleasure in your vacation although I am without a computer .......... Regret not acquiring from NewEgg. Electronics go negative but the assistance becoming closed bothers me. No much more XFX goods for me.

It functions it's very. Doesn't perform effectively with high finish gaming. If your not a game it will do the job. Filled out New Egg Forms to rebate and they claim to loose my receipt. Resend in all copies I kept (I've done rebates ahead of) and they refuse to honor previous time to file. It's a rip off. Don't fall for it. Hopefull New Egg reads these. then once more in was a New Egg online form to begin with... Hmmmm. Nonetheless upset XFX not honoring rebate.

Wonderful small card. Very good overall performance in a tight package. Win7 score of 7., similar as the 9800GT it replaced. No cons directly for the card. See other thoughts, even though. Got a 6. Win7 Experience score with the shipped drivers. A driver update from the ATI web page bumped that up to a 7.. I have a living room Pc with excellent specs that I wanted to convert to a HTPC when I purchased my 52" Sammy. I purchased a good Gigabyte 9800GT silent video card for the HDMI out via mobo header. That card was good, but I noticed that I was only getting two channel sound through HDMI to my AV receiver. Ends up that's all I can get by the S/PDiF on my mobo. Identified out ATI is far better for HTPC HDMI sound as they put sound processors appropriate on the card. So I ordered this one particular. when I got it all set up, Win Media Center kept erring out when playing multi-channel media. Ends up you can't have your ATI HDMI sound output and WMC sound each set for multi-channel sound at the similar time. You have to set MC to multi and the ATI output to stereo. Sound goes to the receiver as multi-channel from WMC, but not from any other source unless you change the ATI output back. So you have to switch the ATI output back and forth all the time. This is a Windows issue, but affects this card's HTPC performance.

value, simple install nothing at all This card is wonderful for the dollars. If your executing extremely intense 3D gaming, it may well not be adequate for you. If your hunting to play games like world of warcraft, this is the card for you. I run W.O.W. on ultra settings with no problems. This is the card I suggest for the under 赨.00 dollar bracket, it's that superior.

Outstanding performance for it's range. Cost-effective. Seems to behave effectively below 7x64. Rebate* No active displayport adaptor included. Included driver disk is useless unless your just right after a manual or 9.x drivers. Download the most current CCC - Ati drivers. Upgraded a ddr2 dual core program from a 3650. Huge difference in performance. Really happy about that. Can even run Crysis / CoD4 on high settings, no not maxed but this is not a high finish gaming card. If you are seeking to run 3x monitors Take Note: you will want an active displayport adaptor. *The rebate did come by means of but at least one correct adaptor of equal value would have been far more usefull, imo instead of a sweet door hanger.

-Straightforward Install, I plugged it in, turned on laptop and updated the drivers. Restarted laptop, and it was operating fine,-Can't even hear the fan-Just attempted playing L4D2 and it ran incredibly smoothly. I was playing on high every thing and had no difficulties whatsoever. -Nicely I have none SO FAR. I havent owned this item for as well long, but so far, anything is golden. I am in no way a personal computer technician , this is the initially piece of hardware I bought for my laptop. I was very skeptical on acquiring it simply because I didnt know if it would fit, would it be very good sufficient?, etc. Surprisingly easy all around, properly for me atleast. I would take into account this is be a light to medium gaming card. I am far more of a medium gamer (games like l4d, TF2, fallout, games of that sort) and necessary to upgrade BADLY. All round, if you want to do some light gaming, and do it good, then obtain this. It's only 贄 compared to other ones that cost a lot a lot more! I hope I dont have any troubles with it (knock on wood) And there is no VGA adaptor so I had to get one, I just ordered it from newegg for Ū. Not a huge deal TBH.also on a side note, this is my 1st order from newegg and I was satisfied with the service, fast delivery.

The card itself is rather petite. No difficulties tucking it into an older shuttle xpc. Install in ubuntu 10.04 LTS utilizing the most up-to-date proprietary catalyst drivers was a one command job. (HINT: just execute the binary) Upon restart, I did have an overscan situation on my Samsung 55 inch tv. Catalyst Control Center effortlessly resolved that one particular. Audio is supported more than HDMI as nicely. I don't have a lot of OGL applications installed on that particular machine, but individuals that I did run, looked pretty good but had been CPU restricted. I have not totally stressed the program however, but I KNOW my PSU is NOT 400 watt and it seems fairly stable.Ubuntu ten.04 LTS XPC ST20G5AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+two GB DDR22x hitachi 1TB SATA drives60GB notebook pata boot drive none.

It's a low-cost card that will run most contemporary games on ~medium settings if paired with a decent processor. The little guy didn't have any difficulties running BFBC2 at a playable framerate with dialed down settings. I'm in college and my objective was to build a gaming machine at minimal price, this card caught my eye for obvious motives. Paired with an Athlon II X3 Rana @ 3Ghz and 4GB Gskill Ripjaw memory it could run BFBC2 at a playable framerate (constant 25-50fps, map dependant) with most of the pretties turned down. Regrettably, I'm a sucker for eye candy and this wonderful little card just wasn't sufficient to satisfy me. I ended up putting upgrading my brother's laptop or computer with this card and purchased myself a Sapphire 6870. Great, cheap card that will satisfy the casual gamer's requirements.

I already reviewed, this is to add on install and draiers. There is absolutely nothing simpler than installing this card. As far as drivers go, I put myself at about an typical know-how level for an individual who likes PCs and i fully grasp that you don't get your drivers from the box the card comes in. i basically saved the most up-to-date Catalyst to disc and when I began up mu new Pc that I put this card in, I installed the driver and CCC from that Computer I created. In no way install old drivers from the graphics card box. na na

Honestly shocked at this card. 1Gb DDR5. It's only 128-bit, but so far, it's played Crysis on medium-high settings flawlessly. Dragon Age Origins fantastic, Modern day Warefare two no kinks whatsoever. Darksiders, Assassin's Creed two, whatever I throw, it requires with no troubles. Probably a 256-bit card may possibly run a bit superior, but honestly, for a 贄 graphics card, it's fantastic. AND there's no require for external power!? It's virtually just a plug-n-play video card No VGA. No dual monitor setup really (one dvi and 1 hdmi but no actual dual setup). Also, no DVI to VGA adapter included, which was a small annoying. A dvi to vga adapter is low-cost, especially right here on newegg, but nonetheless, felt VGA adapter should perhaps be included. As listed in pros, 128-bit Regardless of some MINOR inconveniences, it's a excellent graphics card. I wouldn't hesitate in acquiring this.

-cheap eyefinity solution-decent efficiency for the value I bought 2 of these for a construct I was doing, I followed the process for a 30 dollar rebate but got nothing at all but a postcard saying blah blah you ain't getting the rebate. If you do eyefinity with the 5670 it will lag enough for you not to be capable to do a fps quite nicely. also no crossfire bridge integrated if you program on undertaking that, i contacted xfx and immediately after 3 weeks they responded by sending 1 bridge.with rebate fulfillment a joke and slow CS I will obtain from other vendors, XFX got their last dollar from me.
