Does what I want it to do. It's not a double sized card so I don't run into the scenario exactly where I can't use my other PCI-E slot. Bluray looks phenomenal on my major screen. I wish it was a 256 bit interface, but I don't want to spend for one particular.

Extremely quickly card for the value. No additional power connections implies easy install and energy efficiency. Small card fits quickly into most setups. Like a person else said, no sticker. Though it did have an amusing door card. Doesn't come with CrossFire bridge. Purchased this as element of a budget method overhaul for my dad. My rig has an aging and power hungry nVidia 8800GTX by XFX with 768MB DDR3. Whilst I enjoy my card, this 5670 gets better benchmarks and doesn't call for any more power to do so. It has a weaker fan but so far appears plenty sufficient to hold the GPU running at satisfactory temperatures. My dad has been operating Mass Impact two at highest settings nonstop the past few days and has had no issue whatsoever with heat nor anything at all else. Generally you get what you pay for; I have in no way been so surprised just before, in particular from a modest card that doesn't want any extra power. Tempted to purchase a different and try out crossfire. Would advise for anybody seeking to create a gaming rig on a price range and/or more power effective setup.

Purchased this for a new Dell Inspiron 580 following studying various evaluations. I believe this is the most stable efficiency vid card I could get for this laptop or computer. Dell doesn't give you a lot of possibilities here, the unit is not genuinely created to upgrade the graphics beyond the integrated vid built in, with out upgrading the PSU.I'll admit, I was seeking for the easiest option here. I really don't have the know-how or knowledge to be upgrading the PSU, which in turn would generate other numerous projects, like a snowball effect, with this unit. I was just searching for the ideal card I could get that was feasible to place into a new pc with a 300W PSU with no electrical expansion options, not even to add an extra fan. This appears like the way to go. I haven't really experienced heating difficulties yet, but I'm not genuinely out to push this issue or overclock it either. The situation doesn't come with a temp gague but there is no boost in temp to the touch at all outdoors of the case. None so far. Note: This was the only further component I have added to the computer, so I was willing to go against the 400W PSU minimum, given that it is stated on the box that the card only draws 75W at any provided time and I also don't intend to have it competing with anything else for power.Dell Inspiron 580Intel i5, x576GB 1333 DDR3300W PSU

Doesn't need a separate power rail, Direct X11 instructions are nice and it does it with no a hitch huge plus Exausts hot air into your method, not as beefy as you'll need if you are running massive multi-player games but possibly some of that is my older CPU but I doubt it, should be cheaper really by now

This would be my initially time installing a Video Card, but after having read all the positive critiques this ended up in my cart. Straightforward Set up. Went by the majority vote and installed drivers off Net rather than the CD included to get the most up to date. As constantly, Newegg shipping Fast and pricing fair. This will be ๑.00 with the ฮ.00 rebate. Noisy Fan....I have gone into Catalyst Control Center and set the fan down to 20% from 50% which tends to make it quiet as I would count on. Any dilemma with bring it down that low? A lot of people stating a heat problem. This was NOT purchased for gaming. Essentially bought card for streaming videos. Hoping this is the proper card. Sadly I've not noticed any improvement nonetheless the video I've looked maybe due to poor excellent. Have to set some time to work with this additional. I'll continue to read other evaluations to collect some know-how. Upgrade from integrated GeForce 6150SE nForce 430.

great worth with the rebate. not as load as some say in my opinion guess that depends on the situation. uncomplicated install cool design low power consumption working with a 450w diablotek this is fantastic. rebate makes it worth it. (if it works) worked stable one particular time for 2hrs. shortly after start up or upon beginning WoW my screen would turn blue or green with vertical bars on the screen. tried newest drivers as well as prior versions. power provide ought to be enough but am not pleased with this. i'll have to rma this a single consuming about a 1Ǚ of my rebate and possibly generating it to late for the rebate to even be filed. hopefully my replacement operates as it really should and i can re-evaluation this item. taking into consideration how stable my earlier xfx 4650 was i was a small let down hopefully i can be brought back up

Wonderful middle of the road card for anything brief of extreme gaming. No external power expected. Single slot!! Virtually everybody who has the card appears to like it. No drivers for Server 2008 R2. Its like possessing a gun and no bullets. I gave it two stars b/c it seriously is a good card, just wish there was support for folks like me; I seriously don't think it is too considerably to ask. I'm certain some of you will say "just install windows 7 like absolutely everyone else". That is the point, every person else doesn't understand how considerably greater server 08 is than Windows 7. I must be able to use what ever present operating method I want; the kernels are pretty much identical! I have usually purchased ATI, I've only had 1 nVidia card in my life and it was janky. Oh nicely, at least I can use it out of the box. nVidia here I come!

I had a friend buy me this card, never loved ATI but this card actually changed my views. Windows 7 offers this a 7., for Graphics and Gaming Graphics. For the cost of the card it certain delivers. I play mmorpgs with this card having maxed out settings for visual effects and encounter no lag, 1 such game would be Vindictus, the nvidia card this replaced I had to run it on medium if not low settings. I am not saying it will run max settings on all games, but the ones I have played I can very easily run it on them with hardly any challenge, at worst I would have to drop the shadows to medium or the terrain (grass and bushes) to medium.Visually the shading appears amazing, (I never ever go by test scores so dont expect me to post any ^^ ) as for watching motion pictures I am capable of viewing HD films on-line in 1080 complete screen. Gives good separation of grays.Good part is that it desires no extra energy other than what the pci slot delivers to it.Installation was a breeze. none to warrant an egg loss.2 HDMI ports would have been amazing. General I am utterly satisfied with the XFX item and would contemplate acquiring a larger finish card of theirs.

No external energy Byzantine registration procedure for XFX drivers, and so on. I purchased this card to throw into a stock ZT Systems machine picked up from Costco, which only has a 350W energy provide (and no PCI-E power connectors). So far it has been stable running at 1680x1050 (about 40FPS on SC2 on medium settings). I haven't checked temps, it will be worth the cost if it lasts extended sufficient that games I'm playing will require each a card and energy supply upgrade.

Considering the value this thing can truly cook - and luckily it doesn't cook actually as it idles about 42C in a Rosewill challenger case. At load i've seen mid 50's. I have been able to play relatively modern games like Modern Warfare two at 4x AA, 1440x900, and medium texture and detail sort settings with no experiencing anything at all that would influence my gaming efficiency. For a far more demanding game like black ops, I have had to scale back on settings a bit, but I'm nevertheless quite in a position to play and excel at the gameOlder games like Counterstrike supply play flawlessly on the highest settingsNo serious complications like BSOD employing this with Windows 7 x64 or Linux Mint 10 kernel 2.6.36. Lite energy demand of 61 watts according to hwcompare.com. No external energy required. Excellent Power vs overall performance, highly efficient hardware. Fan is quiter than the typical modest-form-factor GPU fan. Smaller profile card to match many circumstances. Also the rebate worked out reasonably we Can't complain at this value, despite the fact that I do not anticipate it becoming able to handle stuff like Crysis two all that properly. For a hardcore gamer, this card will most most likely be a compromise in contention with a tight spending budget. Also along these lines, it is not future proof for a serious gamer. Linux drivers are lacking in my opinion. ATI/AMD seems to be addressing this concern as there have been improvements, but I'm nevertheless partial to nvidia when it comes to linux graphics efficiency. This card can still wail on all these simpler but incredibly entertaining open supply games out there. For a casual gamer, or someone who is mainly seriously focused on games that are a couple of years old or so, this is actually an ultimate get. It is also a good media card due to low power needs and a nice choice of outputs. As a sporadic sort of gamer, I am content with this purchase and do not intend to upgrade any time soon. I also like the fact that this card puts much less strain on my PSU and will most likely prolong its life in comparison with a a lot more demanding card. For a spending budget or energy conscious gaming create this card strikes a quite great balance in between efficiency and cost.

Single Slot, nice characteristics, excellent overall performance. Very noisy. The tiny fan on this card is incredibly loud and runs at 50% at idle just showing a Windows desktop even although the GPU temperature is only 39C. If you put any load on the card it begins screaming like a mini jet engine on takeoff. I put it in my media center Pc and the fan on the card is louder than the rest om my laptop or computer. It truly is a shame given that I also have a XFX 5770 single slot and 5550 and each are incredibly quiet. I have no selection but to RMA this card and loose 15% restocking fee plus return shipping. This is my 1st RMA with Newegg in years and it's extremely disappointing.

-Really strong for its value range. Depending on what offers there are at the time, you its almost crazy how a lot power you get for the funds. Just don't expect high end level power, you aren't paying for that.-Low power consumption, if you have had issues with your power supply and power hungry cards ahead of, this is a great location to appear. It pulls a total of 75w and it is rated to use a 400w power provide as opposed to most that call for a 500w-550w minimum. -Runs cool, idles in between 35-39c and maxes at 45-49 during heavy game-play(this is in my Haf 932 with 4 120mm fans blowing on it.)-No 6pin pci-express power cable necessary. Runs off of motherboards power. Wonderful incase you occur to have a power supply that doesn't have one particular.-Little size, this will fit effortlessly on a majority of motherboards and inside most instances. -Loud fan. The fan on this is incredibly modest and runs at high rpm. It is not CRAZY loud but it is considerably louder than the rest of the fans in my case and I have 7 fans plus the 1 on my CPU heat sink. The fan runs at 50% even when idle. What is loud to me may well be quiet to you, however. My laptop or computer sits about a foot and a half away from my ear on my desk. If your personal computer sits somewhere else, the sound could be a non-problem. I grabbed this card simply because I needed a thing inexpensive, decently powerful, and that wasn't also power hungry. This card is all those points and has made me pleased. It plays all the games I personal (including newer games like battlefield negative corporation two) on high settings @ 1280x1024.I just wish the fan was quieter.

I have a 26" LCD HDTV that runs at 720p. I also have a pc with a 400W energy provide with no PCI-Express connectors. Given these two aspects, this was the best 720p gaming card that didn't require an external power adapter. Fallout New Vegas runs with everything maxed out at 720p, StarWars The Forced Unleashed two runs beautifully, Lost Planet 2 on the otherhand still struggles abit below DX11 at 720p. No cons however

I bought this card to get my new method up and running. It’s not a bad card, plays most games at medium settings for video. The value it’s that negative either. Don’t anticipate frame rates above 20FPS with newer games with this card. Nonetheless if all you do is play WoW or other games like that then this is the card for you. It will run WoW at full graphic settings. Didn’t carry out as nicely as I had hopped. Then once again 400 Stream Processing Units can only do so a lot. Placing these in crossfire could enhance efficiency a bit.

Make confident your case has alot of airflow by way of it as it can get a little hot in there and this GPU can only cool its self down so substantially but does a genuinely fantastic job of keeping cool as effectively.

Had the card installed in 3 minutes, downloaded most up-to-date drivers in only a handful of additional. So far, operating great! Memory on the prime of card in only passively cooled with heatsinks, memory on backside has no cooling at all, which tends to make me nervous about heat levels in my system. Would have preferred active cooling on all chips. The heatsinks get quite toasty to the touch without gaming or OC'ing. Then again, maybe I'm just being overly cautious. Running WOW Cataclysm at High settings for now. Ultra nevertheless runs quite nicely, just worried about the heat matter. Major upgrade from my old Nvidia 8600GT.
