Tthis card handles Every thing I've thrown at it, I run it on an 46" Samsung Tv, via Hdmi, supports audio and flawless play back, have however to see this card get warm. When i purchased the card it offered a double life time warrenty but when i go to register the card xfx doesn't have the 6970 only has the 6800 series? runs eyefinity with 2xAA nicely on most every little thing. i really upgraded to this card for the 2gb ram for eyefinity modes. had a ? of tech support about which mini adapter to get and they responded inside 1 hr.runs all games smoothly. look at widescreengamingforum for some critiques of eyefinity and crossfire scaling with this card. extremely impressive. might pick up yet another one when it gets less expensive. major/heavy. so far so superior.

When i recieved all my packages, I bought 2 6970's. When I opened each of them they had been full of rocks. Literally ROCKS!I known as in newegg and they're soo helpful about this. They had me send pictures of what i received, and they're at present working on a replacement. just wish some f*KN A**H0LE didnt steal my package. Newegg is the Ideal! GO WITH THEM EVERYTIME!

Not a con for me but, Very Large could be troulbesome in a small case.Cost/perfomance but with my AMD machine i'm stuck with AMD/ATi Crossfire I upgraded to these from my 2X CF'd XFX HD5770's Big improvement in WOW was obtaining 30-50FPS vsync off on Ultra settings 1920x1080. WOW with 2X CF'd XFX HD6970 Ultra settings and very same Res 40-120+FPS vsync off.My program:AMD1090t OC @ 3.8Ghz four.0Ghz on turbo.CoolerMaster V8Asus Crosshairs III formula8GB Corsair XMS3 1600mhz2X XFX HD6970Gskill 120GB SSD500GB Samsung HDCoolerMaster HAF922 caseCorsair tx850w PSUand a bunch of other junk that i'm too lazy to kind out =P

Upgraded to this from a crossfire setup of two XFX HD5770 cards. The crossfire performance was decent thinking about the rest of my method is starting to show it's age, but, this card genuinely brought my system back to life. Running all the usual benchmarks, ie, Heaven, 3DMark06, etc, I managed to see a performance enhance of five-30% depending on the application, all at the highest settings. I can now play all my games at or near the highest settings without any issues. Even Metro 2033 runs smoothly on the Extremely HIGH setting. Runs cool and quiet on stock settings. Fan noise is not bad when running at 100% but could get annoying for some.XFX customer support in my own experience has been outstanding. To me the small premium in price is worth the peace of mind in the event I need to deal with their tech support. I have owned cards from most of the other manufacturers and believe me when I say they aren't even close to XFX.
