XION Power Real 1000W ATX Power Supply

I installed this psu on thursday and on friday evening it died! I'm rma this psu. I needed this power upgrade for my system since 550w are no longer enough to run my system properly. Not saying its a bad product, i was aware that its a bit bigger than normal psu and i had to take out the top blow fan. but once its enough for me to try a new brand. I may stick to other well known brands.

I purchased for a new Liquid cooled Kandalf case from thermal take. it barely fit and i had to remove part of the case to get it in. other than it should be noted that it is larger than the normal PS's it is awesome and is only working at half power. i also love the extra SATA power plugs it has.

I bought this power supply for a new build, I was not so sure about not knowing anything about this brand or company. I usually use antec power supplies, but this build was on a budget. I am WOW'ED I love it. I hope Xion will Keep the cost below the rest of the competition, but still keep up with the quality they are making, I hope they will take over in other aspects of the computer building industry as well. I would be proud to promote their products if they wanted me too.

I got this power supply and wasnt sure if it was reliable or not. This is an extremely good power supply, i do a lot of gaming and this is beast. There is hot air coming out from the back but its silent. I would recomment to anyone. SPECS: evga790i,q6600 3.8ghz,4gb extreme edition,tri-sli 9800gtxplus, 1.5 hdd, card rdr, dvd burner,a huge load of fans,antec 900 case GET THIS POWER SUPPLY!!

This monster is worth every penny!! Has power and cables to spare, all cables reach through a full tower chassis. Quiet as a mouse compared to my old PS and funky blue is...well funky. CB

I've been building rigs for 15 years and with the high power demands of todays systems this is exactly what you need, don't let the price fool you. I have 2 water pumps, 2dvd burners, Card reader, 12g 1600 ddr3, 6 120mm fans,and last but not least 3 285's oc'ed editions in sli. I still have power to spare!

now i see why people prefer modular cables, because connecting power ports with this psu was a tangled mess. the next psu i get will be modular. other than that, this psu is great!

This is a great product for the money... I gave 4-stars for features tho, because the sata cables are short and barely reach... my hard drives sit side by side in bottom of case... not in a tower formation... so they barely reach... but they do!!!.... so I'm happy

My 600W supply bit the dust during a marathon gaming session, butit was a blessing in disguise because this XION rocks! It is ultra quiet and has plenty of high current rails (up to 35 amps) for demanding graphics cards. The cool blue lighting is the icing on the cake. It's been in constant use in my system (Q6600 Quad CPU,4 drives, 8800GTS graphics card) for about a month without any problems. A word of caution, though. This power supply is huge! I have a mid tower with 3 external and two internal bays and I had to temporarily remove two optical drives and the processor fan to get enough clearance to install the supply. Also, it isn't modular and the cable bundle is long and thick so it may be difficult to tuck away within the case. At around $100, this supply is a great deal and few supplies at any price provide the high current that this one does.

I was surprised with how good this actually is for the price,massive blue fan built on the underside of the unit if perfect for drawing heat off of the processor.Power cables are very long,and the motherboard and processor power cables feel nice and heavy,and the wires are wrapped in a protective nylon jacket.Its very quiet,it has all the hookups you could ever need for any gaming rig setup or otherwise,it looks good,it lights up,its well priced and its 1000 watts.....Buy it!

I bought the Xion power supply to replace the cheap noisy supply that came with my PC. It installed easily and the fan is so quiet I can barely tell when it's running. The number of connectors on the Xion allowed me to eliminate adapters and tie the cables neatly

12 volt line on a high end DVM showed the 12 volt line at 12.01 volts at different load levels, at least on my unit. I was impressed.

Great price, great product, no issues whatsoever easy to install, nothing but good i would have prefered a Modular design but for the price it is amazing

I use a powersupply tester and it is within tolerances on all lines. Ran a Quad core with Ultra ChillTech and 5 HDs with 2 x 9800's in SLI with prime95 torture test for 48 hours. All worked fine. Boxed it up put it away and now I have a large powersupply for emergency use if I need it. It's probably a little large if I had to use it in a small crowded case, but consider it a smart investment for fix it for me now or other emergency use..

The fan on this PSU is excellent and silent. I've only used it for a week but it works magnificently. I'm surprised it stays at lukewarm temperatures and my system uses around 600watts tops. First time buying a product from XION and it beats my expectations.

Only had this thing for going on 2 days now, but I can say so far so good. No issues and it worked right out of the box. There are plenty of connections for everything ion my case plus some soI would recommend this.

I was eyeing this PSU for my first computer build, it was powerful and cheap! but i didn't realize before i was installing it in the case just how HUGE this thing is, i had to remove the top case fan in my computer just to fit the thing in the case and once it was in, it was so long, i couldn't replace the fan back where it was :( but that being said i am willing to sacrifice a fan for 1000w. the cable bundle is a tad bit outta control but all in all great value!

This power supply has not let me down yet. It succeeded where my 750w power supply could not and has provided me with steady, reliable power to my system. It easily handles 5 case fanes, the cpu and gpu fans, as well as my AMD Phenom 9850BE, HD Radeon 4870 , 2 seagate hardrives, and 8gigs of ram. Again succeeded where my 750w PS could not. You couldn't ask for better bang from your buck if you looked!

Built a custom PC, with loads of goodies, and over 1 Terabyte across 4 Hard Drives running 64 bit OS. The whole PC, including power supply runs cool as a cucumber! It's also pushing 5 Very Big fans and is extremely quiet.
