XION Power Real 1000W ATX Power Supply

bought this just to have the extra wattage... come on 100 bucks for 1000 watts?!?! well it worked fine for the rig i had already built. i built a new rig and decided to go with this psu... well for some reason when i turned it one the power would cut out. changed out several psu's and they all worked fine. other than that small oddity its been a GREAT psu.

This is a quality product. You may wonder why it is so damn cheap compared to other 1000Watt PSU's but the real question here is why are the other PSU's so damn expensive when this has all the same features.

With 1000 watts available, this device will satisfy my needs for the system no matter what I toss in. I do however understand the appeal of a version of this unit with unpluggable cord bundles... thats alot of cord hanging in the computer case. Excellent price.

I bought two at the same time. The first one is pulling its weight and then some....I installed the second one on a similar mb and it had a dead 5v leg right from the beginning. 1/2 isn't good. I love the one that is working though, it solved my weak power supply problems for sure. RMA'd the bad one...this retailer has been great in its ease of rma's and responses.

This is a great inexpensive solution to powering 3 video cards, quad core cpu, multiple hdds, and fans and not have to worry about ne thing. All the voltages are stable. I was skeptical buying this psu. Glad I bought it, it is awesome. Don't pay extra money for the name brand 1000 psu (usually what i would do) just get this one it won't let you down.

Bought 4 for them and they all burned up while running from two minutes to 3 days all on the same board. It turned out that it was the CPU that was faulty. The 5V leg was always the only thing that went.

ordered this online and got it only a couple days later, best power supply for the price, boots up pretty quick and quiet, it doesnt say on the info but this comes SLI ready and even 3 way sli ready, in my opinion this on is better than the higher priced OCZ GameXstrem

iVE BEEN BUILDING PCS FOR 14 YEARS AND THIS IS THE BEST AND MOST IEXPENSIVE WAY TO GIVE YOUR PC THAT EXTRA PUSH. I HAVE 2 4870 X2 PLUS 6 FANS 3 DRIVES 1 ROM 1 EQ AND THE XION TAKES IT ALL ON WITH WATTS TO SPARE THANKS

I bought this one as I'm sure others have based on price. which is great. Alas the one I recieved had a problem, most likely a short or ground fault. ( I didn't test for either, since it was new.) That being said power supply simply would not power up in side my case. it would partualy out side of it, but not enough to power the system. I returned it and the the supply I bought to replace it was much more expensive.

Awesome power supply. Little on the big size so took some doing to stuff all those cables out of the way. More than enough juice to run anything you want or need to. I would definatley buy another if needed.

I swapped my old BFG 800W PSU for this one today. It has longer wires then the BFG. I mounted it in the upper PSU area in the Cooler Master HAF 932 case, allowing me to connect 4HD's in the bottom of the case in Raid 0+1 Array=striped & mirrored. I'm very happy all the connections made the reach. One of the connections on the Xion is a split 8 pin 12V ATX connection, that is a 4+4 split plug. Your Mobo may have the upper 12V 4 pin ATX connection plugged. Remove that plug & use both 4 pin plugs on this connection, as per an Asus Tech Rep if your using a quad core CPU. Very quiet PSU. I love the blue LED. The HAF 932 case shows off the Mobo very nice. Get one while supplies last. The book for the Asus M3N HT Deluxe Mobo states, with 2 high end GPU's, a 1000W PSU is recommended.

I test the power supplies I get very rigorously because I use them as external supplies also. This power supply performed beautifully except one of its 12V rails had a switching transient that was nearly half a volt! Otherwise I would have kept it. Shouldn't hurt for a computer though. All other rails looked reasonable. I highly recommend this supply if you are using it only for a computer and not external projects.

Real nice power supply. Nice long wiring no issues routing the wiring around to keep them out of the way. Running my EVGA X58 141 MB and I7 without a hitch.

if u r thinking bout buying this psu just buy it is worth every penny,i have mine for over a month now running 2 radeon 4890 in crossfire (they are really power hungry!!) 2 hds ,i7 920 and a bunch more of stuff no sweat! it runs cool is just amazing that a 100 psu runs this good,totally recomend :)

Bought this PSU and its working great....i have an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, 4gb Patriot Gaming 4096MB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHz, 320gb HDD, and a BFG Geforce GTX 260 and its not even breaking a sweat(yet *does evil laugh*) ...i also plan to get dual ATI Radeon 4870X2's later on and they shouldnt be a problem for this PSU...great price u cant beat 1k watts and 6 12v rails for 110 bucks(i got it for 100 when i bought it) but still....its uber! buy it!

It is an awesome power supply for the price. It's not modular but that is more a gimmick than a practical feature in my opinion. I have something plugged on every cable so I gain nothing with modular cabling anyway plus with a Coolmaster HAF case(or one similar), there is so much room behind the motherboard backplain that coiling up excess wiring and hiding it is a breeze. The fan is silent and the blue LED is a nice touch even though my case is bottom mount so not much use to me. The 1000w sticker on the side is rather tacky and would rather have had the PS specs visible but that is a very minor quibble.

The Xion 1000 Watt Power Supply gives you more than your money's-worth! And it fits perfectly in an ATX Chassis. I never thought I'd need more than the 600 Watt job I had in my rig, but the old one couldn't deliver the needed 12 volts for the drives. I'm running four HDs - one 40 Gig, two 80 Gigs, and one 1/2 Tera-byte Sata and the old supply just couldn't handle it. The clue, by the way, was the thet cursor froze or kept jumping around until the box warmed for about 15 minutes - an indicator that the 12 Volt supply was weak or not regulating properly. If there is a complaint to go with the new Xion 1000 it would be the huge quantities of cables! Wow! I made them fit though, dressed 'em up and secured them with zip-ties. A Xion kilowatt supply for your ATX is a good investment - especially at this price!

Fits perfectly. Fans are quiet. Hooks up to my NVIDIA Video card, needing two independant 6 pin connectors. Has more than enough eSATA power connectors, and Molex connectors. Has just enough 4-pin connectors for my Floppies and Sound-Blaster X-Fi. Has enough output to power my entire PC when gaming and during normal duty work loads. Perfect upgrade for my PC, and it works very well. Can't beat the price for a 1000W PSU. The only thing it could be improved would be to have a modular cable design, but, I am very satisfied.
